I called Chris Baum at Espositio who had originally sold me the transfer switch, told him we were in the dark and the switch did not work. He said he would send someone out ASAP. 25 MINUTES LATER a truck shows up. The tech Alex was polite, friendly and professional. Turns out the generator was left off by the last guys to come out. He fixed the problem and tested the switch before he left. IT IS VERY RARE these days to find a company that provides such excellent and FAST service AND there was no charge for the visit. I would recommend Espositio for all of your electrical work and generator sales and maintenance too. Really impressed by their level of commitment to their customers. FIVE STARS!!!

The owner Eric himself came out and did a design complete with a drawing of how many lights I would need and where they would be installed. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. The next day the workers showed up at...Surprise! 7am as promised and worked diligently until the job was complete at 4pm. Everything worked, they were courteous and friendly and respected the property by putting down tarps where needed and they cleaned up and swept before they left. The lead guy Edmundo even looked around and found other things I could use their services for and then about an hour later a manager called me to follow up on the work to make sure I was pleased and to ask if I was interested in the other repairs Edmundo had mentioned. WHAT A REFRESHING EXPERIENCE!! I would definitely use EM Electric again and refer them to anyone.

One week later another maintenance man comes and fixes the issues and wonders why the other two cut my ceiling. He assured us Bertoli would fix the ceilings immediately. The end result is Bertoli office refused to repair any of THEIR damage unless we gave them another $895.00. This company is a disgrace to the township of Rockaway if they can't stand behind their incompetence. I appreciate the Bertoli response once they realized a mistake and poor communication among us was the real issue. Thanks for stepping up to the plate Bertoli.

I was nearly finished making some renovations to my master bathroom when I decided that I wanted to…read moreinstall recessed lights. My shower door guy urged me to do that before he installs the new shower door. So, I needed an electrician who could install my lights lickety-split. My contractor's electrician, who did the wiring for the heated floor, was too busy to install my lights. Therefore, late Sunday afternoon, I came to Yelp to find a good local electrician, who had the ability to do the job this week. Lucky me: I found Jason Klein. I was immediately impressed with his many great reviews. I used the Yelp platform to create a project SPECIFICALLY addressed to Jason. I explained my urgency to complete the lighting installation this week so that my shower door can be installed next week. Jason responded via Yelp's platform almost immediately. Wow! He said that he could do the project on my timeframe. Long story short, Jason's crew showed-up a little before 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, and they finished before noon. The guys installed 6 new recessed lights (3 in my bathroom and 3 in my closets). They were polite and they did a great job. The icing on the cake is that they were very neat: they wore booties inside (YES!), they laid-down tarps on the floor (Thank you!!) they covered the clothes in my closets with plastic (WooHoo!!!) and they vacuumed (Doing my Happy Dance!!!!). Throughout the process, Jason stayed in contact with me by phone/text, so I knew what was going on and exactly when his guys would arrive. I'm very pleased with Jason Klein Electric and I will definitely use them again. (I'm renovating my kitchen next.) (As an aside, I'm a bit dissatisfied with Yelp's tool for creating "Projects." I thought that I had selected a specific electrician from whom to request a quote. I included my phone number in the details. I was disappointed to find that my Project had been shared with others, who also responded. Some of them did not appear to be licensed electricians. I sent an email to Yelp's Privacy Officer inquiring as to whether that was appropriate. No response yet. No matter. I won't use that Project tool again.)

When they put down the tarp, I noticed it was VERY dirty, with tiny pieces of drywall debris on it. I asked them to remove it and then shake it outside. When they lifted it from the floor, I saw that the floor was coated with white drywall dust. So *both* sides of the tarp were dirty. Lack of attention to detail and lack of respect for the client's home. Not ok. At some point I suggested we cover the granite countertop where one of the employees was working to protect it from damage in case a tool should accidentally drop on it. Instead of accommodating my (reasonable) request, he resisted, saying "Nothing will drop". Not ok.

Although Dan recommended replacing all three panels, he understood our initial goal was just to add an EV charging outlet. He suggested a practical solution: replace only the panel serving the new outlet. Dan provided clear quotes for several options, including removing old electric heating panels in the garage, installing a new panel for the EV charger, and replacing all panels and wiring in the garage's electric room. Throughout the process, Dan was calm, accommodating, and always ready to help. We ultimately decided to proceed with all the recommended upgrades. Dan's pricing was very competitive, and his team was competent, diligent, and respectful. The work was completed on schedule, and the electrical inspector was extremely pleased with the quality, offering high praise for Dan and his crew. We highly recommend Baran Electric for any electrical work--especially if you value professionalism, expertise, and fair pricing.
