Many of the patients are lost and confused with the work outs they are provided. Others are seen waiting to be helped. They also wanted to point out seeing so many patients at a time seem almost unnecessary, which looked like it lead to a lack of quality of instructions during the exercises. They have aides running around back and forth to each patient, juggling trying to help everyone out all at once. It seemed like inefficient system. The patient experienced help from a new aide who seemed to have made a slight mistake. They both were then accompanied by the office manger telling the aide he is wrong. And instead of helping and teaching the workout the office manger came off as rude and blunt to both the aide and patient when trying to explain the mistake. His actions felt very discriminative. Would not recommend this clinic.

Vincent PT was the only place that would squeeze me in on short notice. I am very thankful they took me in as a new walk-in patient and the short story is that the treatment worked - the results were immediate and lasting. 2. Teresa at the front desk was super nice when I called and when I arrived in person. She was very patient, knew what treatment I needed based on my condition, was the one who squeezed me in to the busy schedule, and was very pleasant getting my information (as a new patient) and then the next day when I called back to update my status. Great customer service! 3. Michael is a great physical therapist. Extremely knowledgeable and I felt like he understood my condition and how to treat it. He was also very patient in explaining everything to me and doing the treatment - making sure I was comfortable and not in pain the entire time. I didn't feel rushed (as I do at other places), and he does everything himself (vs other places where you start with the experienced person but then they pass you to a new person who doesn't seem to know anything). Even though I was a brand new patient, he took very good care of me and I felt like a VIP. Parking and access are easy. It's faster to enter on Foothill into the surface parking lot, and then enter from the outside (not through the main lobby). I had been going to another place for PT for several years (for a different issue), but now I'm considering coming here instead due to the better customer service, attention, and care.

From my initial phone call setting up a consultation to finishing my prescribed schedule of sessions, I had nothing but great experiences. My therapist was Kristen (you see the same person every time) and she was caring, easygoing and professional. She listened to my concerns, acted on them and set me up with an at-home exercise/therapy routine that actually worked for me! I can't compare to other PT places with no previous experience, but it was very refreshing that her goal was to get me to a place where she DIDN'T have to continue seeing me. Each visit consisted of 30 minutes with Kristen doing hands on therapy and then time afterward with an assistant in their 'gym' where I did the work, preparing me for what I could do at home. Some nights, the only relief I could get was by standing in my room. I tried everything--chiropractors, anti-inflammatories, acupuncture--but nothing worked. From my very first visit to Landswick, Justin took a different approach. He methodically ruled out what wasn't causing my pain, narrowing the issue down to the piriformis muscle. You could tell his mind was constantly working--analyzing, adjusting, solving. Over the course of about 20 visits, he guided me through stretches that gradually reduced and then eliminated the pain. Once I was out of the woods, we shifted focus to strengthening the muscles that support my back and hips. Multiple rushed and poor experiences here with several physicians. Most of your face time here is with physician assistants. When a doctor experiences significant tactile resistance during an injection and openly admits a lesion isn't behaving like a typical cyst, shifting to a passive "wait-and-see" approach without looking at your historical imaging is simply a contradiction in clinical logic. Calling that out isn't about being confrontational; it is about recognizing that your intuition was right, your questions are valid. Dr. Billings operates a medical mill. I came to see Dr Billings (incidentally CEO of Pasadena Orthopedics) for a thumb lesion xrayed 5 years ago and never biopsied. She injected my thumb without so much as objectively establishing if the lesion was solid or cystic. She told me with utmost confidence that I have a cyst. She suddenly revised her diagnosis while in the midst of obviously struggling to inject the lesion with steroids. She wanted to move fast because volume means Benjamins $. I walked in with little to no pain, and walked out unable to fully flex or extend my thumb without pain. The office then gave me the run around for a simple imaging request after the pain progressively worsened and insinuated that the response to my injection in 6 weeks is "diagnostic." No rationale was offered. Billings tried to pivot with, "let's see if we get a treatment response." Truth is, she realized unnecessary needle trauma would have to be healed from forcefully trying to inject steroids (liquid) in something with the density of an eraser (before imaging could become meaningful). I offered to show them prior imaging, but they were too busy churning out patients. I came here for diagnostic clarity, not to sit around for 2 hours and be provided substandard care. The audacity of trying to pass it off as, "let's wait to see if the treatment responds" (damn well knowing it's not behaving like a cyst and forcing fluid in a solid mass in a patient's thumb). Come on now.

He's incredibly thorough and always takes the time to explain every important detail before my lumbar sciatica injections, which helps me feel informed and at ease throughout the procedure. Everyone here has been wonderful. The nurses are kind, compassionate, and professional. I also want to give a special shout-out to the X-ray technician who works with Dr. Myers in the procedure room. He is the sweetest! Whenever he notices that I'm uncomfortable, he checks in on me and starts a conversation to help distract me and make the procedure a little easier. Those small acts of kindness make a huge difference. Overall, every visit has been smooth, and I've always felt well taken care of. I'm very grateful that my pain management doctor referred me to Dr. Myers and the team at Risser Orthopedic. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate care.

It's an open concept and bright space with lots of patients and physical therapists. Mary-Claire took the time to diagnose my issues and tailored a PT program to get me right. The rest of the staff are also friendly and helpful, including AJ, Christian, Adrian, and Andrea. I didn't work with Andrius but he seemed knowledgeable and caring. My one note is that it can feel like the patients are put through an assembly line so you might have to speak up to get extra attention on your exercise form or discuss what's working or not in the program. Very easy to call in to make an appointment or change it. The office also helped me deal with an insurance snafu. There's parking in the back but all the spaces are reserved for specific businesses so you may have to do street parking even if it looks like there are open spaces.

My orthopedic doctor advised me to go to physical therapy for up to three months, after one month of being in a sling. I have had plenty of other injuries in the past and this one has definitely been the slowest to heal and quite limiting in terms of going through daily lifestyle tasks. Finding a facility for physical therapy was a bit challenging. Many in my area had no reviews, or even worse, negative reviews. The facility which my doctor recommended did not even return my call for a consultation. I decided to take a chance on Mariners, which is established in Orange County, but new to this location. Upon my first consultation, I felt very comfortable there. It is organized, clean and professional. Service is great. They process your insurance claims, which I am finding several places do not do. The therapists are very knowledgeable and just pleasant - positive. They share duties so you may interact with multiple therapists and aides in one session. Most importantly I am seeing progress with my mobility and flexibility with their treatments. They add and remove exercises each week, so it is not monotonous. In the past I have had PT that involves lots of manual massage (which I love) and I've had some sessions where the therapists spend two-three minutes with you then send you to a roller table the rest of the time. Mariners definitely has substantive treatment the whole hour or so you are there. The only thing I would prefer is more of a massage component as it is a bit painful to just jump into exercises. They do however, do stretches with you before the exercise component. I would also like to see a more formalized program of at-home exercises to do. In the past I have received these plans with diagrams and instructions. I had to ask about at-home exercises after several weeks of treatment since none were offered to that point. Aside from those small matters, I do have lost of confidence in Mariners and will continue to work with them.
