Had my nails done by Jasmine today and am absolutely in love! As someone who is very intimidated by beauty services, Selah was great and offered such a welcoming atmosphere. Jasmine was so fun to talk to. I've already booked multiple other appointments read more

Selah - Waxing Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

The whole team at Selah is sweet and welcoming, however, I want to highlight Kimberly for her incredible skin services. I saw Kimberly for dermaplaning and chemical peels for five months leading up to my wedding. She tailored each treatment to what my skin needed and I left glowing every time. Kimberly is an amazing person and brought life back to my dry, irritated skin. I look forward to returning! Also, the skin products available at Selah are high quality and very reasonably priced for a spa. 10/10 recommend! read more

My wife had Hannah do her eyebrows, not going to lie no idea what she did, but my wife was very happy with her work and of course her awesome personality and fair prices helped. read more

This was my first experience with dermaplaning and a peel. Brittany was very kind and explained every step of the process. My skin feels amazing. Brittany also explained some Home regiments to help me with my concerns. I would definitely recommend Brittany and Selah and I will be back. read more

I recently had my first Brazilian waxing back in Salt Lake. I loved the results from waxing. So I immediately looked for a place to get my next one done, now that I moved to Tucson from Montana... Based on all of the reviews here on yelp, I found Selah. And I'm so glad I did! I adore all of the people working at Selah as well as the other customers who were there. Everyone is very friendly, like one big, happy family. Hannah is informative and amazing with her work. You won't be disappointed! If I decide to get eyelash extensions, this is also where I plan on going. read more

Salon is cute and the owner seemed so kind which is where the 3 stars come from. I was excited upon entering the space as I had recently moved and was hoping to make this a go to spot. Unfortunately appointment itself was very downhill, the nail tech that attended me was disappointing. Definitely the worst nail appointment I've ever had. When I say my nails took 4 hours, I mean it and it resulted in nothing special.. just a French tip which is not what was agreed upon. It seemed as if they were nervous throughout the appointment & then just rushed me out towards the end to accommodate their next appointment. After 4 hours, I would expect to leave overjoyed with my nails. Hopefully in the future they can hire more nail technicians. I would still recommend the location for anyone who is looking to get other services done as it seems like my experience may be an outlier. read more

So..my first time coming here, I had scheduled for dermaplaning, and I had Kimberly and she was absolutely amazing!! She made me feel relaxed and she gave me a feeling that I felt welcomed and will be taken care of. However, my second time, it was not like my first experience. I took my sister to try it because my first experience was amazing, and this second time, the lady who did me, looked like she didn't want to be at work and during the process did not turn off the lights or at all made me want to feel relaxed, and it was so rushed! My sister however had an amazing experience and her lady even gave her samples at the end! I was done within maybe less than 25-30mins, and all for $59 plus tip. If you ever want to do dermaplaning or micro-needling, please request Kimberly. She will make your experience worth while and have you coming back! read more

What a treat! Best place for a facial, Michel made me feel really comfortable and my skin felt amazing!

So lovely. I adored my visit today. I had the bliss facial, and it was TO DIE FOR. The whole experience was very relaxing. Britney spent a good amount of time discussing what I was looking for and making recommendations. She's very knowledgeable and reassuring. The aromatherapy they use is just the right amount of potent, without being overpowering. The mask they use smells wonderful and really leaves your skin feeling better than ever. Thank you so much! read more

What an amazing experience with Kimberly!! Kimberly Dennison is amazing ! She is an expert in skincare, specialist in Dermaplaning and knows how to make you feel so special. Don't look anywhere else if you want more than just a facial, you will leave here feeling like you have had a vacation. Thank you Kim, I will never trust my skin to anyone else read more

Staff is very friendly, professional, and skillful. Lovely environment. Highly recommend!

The ladies here (Vanessa and Hannah) have been doing my waxing for some time now so naturally when they moved over to Selah I followed. Same wonderful results in a beautiful and modern space. I have never been disappointed when these ladies, particularly Vanessa, do my brows. People who have gotten a bad brow job realize the skills and time it takes to create good looking brows. Vanessa takes time with my brows, and is somewhat of a perfectionist, which is all right by me. I have kinda weird brows, they are sparse in some parts and have that weird peak thing I hate. However, Vanessa makes my brows looks like that of a normal person! Mad props. Also, the space is sooo cute! It is a 2 floor setup, with two separate living areas with a modern and feminine décor. It is a very inviting space. I got the tour of the place and Selah is looking to offer facials in the future. This is such an asset to the local Tucson business community. Looking forward to a future of great brows! read more

It's been 11 years since I had my eyebrows waxed and decided to go here based on the reviews. I had my appointment with Hannah and my eyebrows are looking bomb if I do say so myself! I had the wax and tint and it's a GAME CHANGER. Highly recommend coming here and seeing her. read more

I had a facial with Debbie today and she was the sweetest lady, the facial was so relaxing and the vibes of this place are amazing. Would 100/10 recommend. My face feels and looks amazing not to mention one of the owner was amazing. read more

Wow! This is officially the cutest local gem in Tucson. So far I've gotten a facial from Brittany, and a Brazilian wax from Hannah. They are both absolutely so sweet and make you feel so comfortable. A lot of times when you go into a salon you feel like just another number they have to deal with for the day, but these girls actually make you feel like you're their close friend and are excited about their job! (Hannah specifically makes you feel so comfortable you forget that she's looking at your hoo-ha.) Also, this is an amazing location near 4th but WITH A FREAKIN PARKING LOT. read more

Selah - So many awesome options for you to feel amazing! - Waxing Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I didn't get a massage, so 1 star isn't fair. But I had such a terrible experience trying to book a massage that I couldn't ignore giving feedback. I booked a massage for my wife and took time off work to watch our newborn. They cancelled on me the day of the appointment. We tried to set up another appointment, and had a time booked, but they failed to reserve the time slot, got double booked, and I again had to look for another option. Please find a way to organize your business. read more

Got my first facial ever here last Sunday and it was an amazing experience. The entire salon is extremely cute and well put together. Kimberly, who did my facial, was very welcoming and gentle. The whole experience was relaxing and my face felt so smooth, clean and fresh afterwards. I definitely scheduled my next facial with her! read more

I Bought their Groupon and I will definitely be back! The girl who did my wax was amazing, she was nice and chatty as to get my mind off of things. Yes it hurt a little, but no where near as bad as I thought it would. I can see this becoming a habit for me. read more

I wanted to get dermaplaning done here in Tucson, so I googled it, to find a salon that did it. I went with the salon with the best ratings and the closest to me. It was fabulous! I never had it done although I had shaved my face with a razor before, it's not the same thing. Kensie took a straight-edge blade and scraped my entire face removing fine hair and dead skin layers. WOW. I feel so 'lifted' and my face feels so good. I got an enzymic peel also following the procedure. That felt great. While I was there I figured I should get my eyebrows waxed, something I'd never done before, so I went to Faith for that. Very good job. All and all it was an excellent time. Way less then I'd have spent at a resort I'm sure. Suzanne J. read more

Kenzie was AMAZING. I've never gotten a facial from someone who is so knowledgeable and actually made the experience fun while relaxing. She's truly a great asset to this awesome business. I can't wait to get my lashes there and continue to go for my facials. My skin is absolutely glowing. read more

What a great salon!! I've had multiple facials by Katie over the past couple of years, and she is amazing! I highly recommend her! read more

If anyone is looking to get their eyelash permec this is the place. I'm loving the eyelash perm. It's your own eyelashes that are curled. No more having to use the eyelash curler. For me this is the best option and it lasts up to 6 months. Price is so affordable. Nikki is the best at making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Nikki is the best!!!! read more

First time dermaplaning and it was a wonderful experience. I'm on day 1, post treatment, and I'm very pleased with the results. Debbie was incredible about making me feel comfortable and answering all my questions (I was very nervous about it) but fears were calmed after only 2 mins or so into it. Thank you so much and I've already got my second treatment scheduled! read more

Selah Salon is one of the cutest salons I have ever been too. The atmosphere is so trendy yet so calming. I get my lashes done by Nikkol who does such an AMAZING job. She has her own little room so it is completely private and relaxing. Highly recommend Selah for any salon needs and Nikkol for eye lash needs. read more

I've been getting Brazilian waxes from Vanessa for two years now, I followed her to Selah. No wax in that area is completely painless, but Vanessa is patient and professional while making you feel comfortable throughout the process. I have never had a bad result in waxes with her, and I've gotten brows, Brazilian, legs, and underarms done. The price is reasonable and so worth the quality of the service. Selah is a beautiful shop and the ladies I encounter there are always friendly and welcoming. If you're going to spend the money on a wax service, there is no better place than Selah. read more

Even a Brazilian wax feels like a relaxing spa treatment in this beautiful space and with the amazing Hannah. She has a soothing, fun and professional demeanor and I always look forward to our conversations. This has become one of my favorite businesses in Tucson and the only place I will go for that particular service. Also, Brittany gives the most customized, effective, calming facials. Every time I go to her, my skin is improved. The decor is so cute, they always have water and coffee and chocolates on the table. They also stock great, natural, beauty products and Brittany often sells her Korean skin care finds. I would recommend Selah any day. read more

I chose this place on basis of reviews I had read on here and booked a wax with Hannah. Waxing is never fun, but it's a necessity! After looking like a wooly mammoth for the past year, I honestly expected the worst. Plus having sensitive skin that swells and gets really red afterwards was not really something I was looking forward to, but hey, necessary evil. Hannah was really sweet- so efficient and thorough. She made sure that it would be as painless as possible (and for not being waxed in a year, I thought the pain would be a 9 out of 10... this was a 3!) and made sure she used every technique that would keep my skin from freaking out. And it worked. I left immediately smooth and comfy and NO irritation. Really thoroughly impressed and pleased. Already booked my next appt. Now I need to try the other services! Everyone was extremely pleasant and a joy to deal with. Hannah is amazing, a master of her craft and truly a sweet person to chat with. I'm *actually* looking forward to getting waxed again. read more

Selah is the best! I feel so peaceful as soon as I walk in. Everyone is so friendly and kind. It's beautiful, clean, and overall a delightful experience. Plus no one else can make my eyebrows as gorgeous as the Selah waters! read more

Trust me this place it great! After trying every acne product and home remedy and wasting so much time and money I finally decided to go see Brittany at Selah. The experience has been amazing! Brittany is so sweet and so good at her job! After just 3 weeks my skin feels healed, refreshed and is finally clearing up! Don't waste any more money on stuff that doesn't work and go see Brittany. Every product I tried before either didn't work or left my skin itchy, peeling and dry. I was getting not only acne breakouts but allergic reactions to things I was trying. Everything Brittany has used and recommended has made my skin feel amazing! No more peeling or itching and my acne is finally going away! I also love that they focus on natural ingredients and stay away from harsh chemicals. Give them a try! read more

I started following Selah on Instagram after looking for places that offered less harsh and more organic/natural skincare services. After several months I decided to give it a try and LOVED my first facial with Michel. She listened to all my skin concerns. I wanted to minimize breakouts, decrease hyper pigmentation, and achieve smoother looking skin. She asked me questions about my skincare routine and lifestyle. She explained the whole process and benefits of each product she was using. Plus the massage part was AMAZING. I loved the products so much I bought a few before I left. I should also note that I live in Baltimore and was so frustrated searching for a place that met my criteria that I started looking in my hometown (Tucson) and I am really happy I did because Selah was worth the wait! Also I recommend following them on Instagram. I also follow Brittney and Michel and they regularly post about openings and promotions/discounts. read more

Loved this place! Great smell, cool studio. Hannah took her time and was super friendly :-).

Hannah is amazing!!! I was visiting tucson from LA. I was there for a wedding and needed my eyebrows and underarm hooked up. I'm very picky about my eyebrows! I read good reviews so I thought I'd take a leap of faith. Now I'm sad because Hannah was the bomb and if I lived there she would be my go to girl. She did an amazing job on my eyebrows! I have had my fair share of good eyebrow ladies, but she was by far the best. Do yourself a favor and go see her. She did a great job on my underarms too. The salon itself is super cute and Hannah is a sweetie! The staff is great to, very welcoming. Great job ladies, wish you were closer to me. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here for lash extensions after I had been seeing somebody who does them out of her home. The price was higher here but I figured it's worth it for the professionality. They offer coffee/small refreshments while you wait which is nice and the studio salon itself is adorable. The first fill I got was a hybrid set and I LOVED them!! I felt like a beauty queen and got compliments all the time. My next fill went ok but the lashes were quite bothersome and fell out quickly. This is when I began I have issues.. I booked my next fill online as usual, and received an email confirmation. I had to ask off work to come to my session, but was turned away because THEY double booked. I had booked my session 2-3 weeks in advance but they still decided to take the other lady (who had not even showed up yet!!) I got one last fill and they were TERRIBLE. I had several of my natural lashes glued to one extension, causing 3-4 natural lashes to fall out everytime one extension came out. Goodbye beautiful natural lashes.. I had a lot of irritation, the stylist put on WAY too much glue to the point it looked like I had lash mites. I came to get them removed, and the stylist didn't use the gel remover, but removed them all by tweezers. I came home with lashes covered in glue, cut shorter than they were before I ever got extensions, and super scarce! If you get lashes done correctly this should never be an issue. Just beware ladies, don't risk your natural lashes for a stupid fad. read more

I am so glad I found this place! It's so cute and peaceful inside and Brittany was very attentive to my skin and what it needs. I got the enzyme peel and some take home masks she recommended. After just one visit my face feels so refreshed and I feel more educated about my skin thanks to her. I can't wait to go back in! read more

Selah is the perfect place for all your lady needs. They do the best waxing, brows, lashes, facials, etc! I have had the pleasure of getting my full set and bi-weekly fills with MJ. I highly recommend getting your lashes done with MJ as I have never been disappointed by the outcome! read more
