If you are seeking a home improvement contractor, NYSA Construction is the only one…read more I was looking for a contractor to repair my wooden, backyard shed. Performing the work myself was a task I surely did dread. Although I made many calls, sadly, I received no response at all. I was about to give up, thinking I had the worst luck. I then saw an advertisement for NYSA Construction. I am delighted to say, when I made the call, they came out the following Monday. Project Manager Jason Fangmeyer promised to submit to me an estimate that would fit my budget. He said, "Yes, indeed. I know what you need." He took the time to explain. He promised he could ease my shed's pain. He said he would replace the shed's rotten wood. He promised that he really could. When I received the great estimate, the work I did permit. I knew it was Jason Fangmeyer I would hire. The price was right. Jason promised I would find his work quality to be a sheer delight. Jason and his men arrived at the promised date. They were not a minute late. The company's men did a great job. They are not slobs. They take pride in their work. They are no jerks. Their work is neat and clean. They gave my shed a nice sheen. I want to tell you; Jason and his crew made my 45-year old shed look brand new. NYSA treated my property with respect. Therefore, I will definitely keep the company in mind for my next home improvement project. Don't be lame, I suggest you do the same! Call NYSA today!

Don't touch this company with a ten foot pole especially for a bathroom remodel. The workers only…read morestay until 2-3pm each day, they don't come prepared so there end up being multiple trips and breaks. Because of this the work took longer than quoted I was out of a shower in a single bathroom home for an additional week, paying for a hotel room to shower. I found multiple areas of missing grout that had to be filled in with caulk since the grout had dried. The sink leaked right after instal. The bathtub drain wouldn't close and the worker informed me they didnt think it would close when they installed it but they didnt check or tell me. They had to come back not even a month later to re-caulk the bathtub because it had cracked. The bathtub caulk has cracked again, and i've found cracks in the grout of the floor tiles now. I finally took a bath for the first time and I woke up to a giant wet spot on the ceiling in the room below the bathroom the next morning. Hopefully they can figure it out and fix it but never again will I be using them.

For this particular job, they included the price of gutters. However, I replaced gutters just three years ago on my old house, which had an additional level of gutters and much more length, and only paid $3,050. I was actually blown away by how insanely expensive their quote was.

What really bothers me is first of all the salesman was just like a car salesman fast talking and slick trying to make me his friend telling me about his life and family, I could care. less. The real problem is this I asked if they did their own work and he told me they did not use outside contracters all the installers are their employees. On the day of the install guess what an independent contract showed up to do the install. If I knew that the used outside contractors I would have not used this company. When I call to voice my concern I got some B.S. about slow business. The bottom line is that the salesman was not truthful and if you contract this company becareful.

He asked for pictures of the windows; I obliged by texting several pictures to him and confirming how many windows needed attention. He arrived late the day of my appointment and, upon seeing the windows in person, said that he did not realize that my windows were brown; the caulk that he brought was white. He said it would be best to go and get the proper color caulk and looked up hardware stores near my residence. He found that there were three within a mile of my house. He leaves to go buy the caulk, calls me 20 minutes later and says that he decided to go to Home Depot -- which is at least 6 miles and 25 minutes away. When he returns and completes the work, he charges me for the time spent going to and from Home Depot. I expressed that I should not pay for him being unprepared, but unwilling to argue with a man I had just met, I paid the invoice. I am grateful not to have done the work myself, but would not recommend working with this young man without a firm commitment about the price and his preparedness. I received offers from other vendors willing to complete the work and recommend that anyone thinking of hiring this gentleman explores their options before settling.

Why was this man in my home office? He was supposed to be working in my Bathrooms? Was he looking for things to steal? All lies. What kind of guy I am? Dude. I live in a nice house and make good money. You think I con people out of their money? I've never taken someone to court personally. Through business yes. You're the first one. You know you did a bad job. As for calling me from Home Depot for my Credit card, no contractor does that. This dude said he had no money on him. He never said he would Open up the ceiling. He couldn't fix the problem and went the cheap way out. That stopper he put on didn't work. He says he doesn't work the weekends. I'll post the text messages with him offering to come out on Saturday and then Sunday. He offered. Then he stood me up two times. He says he doesn't care about my ceiling. So, he floods the house, and doesn't care? Further, after I filed my police report today, the officer investigated his company. He has no license. His company hasn't been in good standing since last year. It has been forfeited. He is working without a license. Be completely aware of this. Oh and go to his website. He has links to his YouTube with himself in bed shirtless ranting about random things. This guy screams weirdo and unprofessional. I see why he made such an egregious claim about me. He clearly his mind is very dark. I didn't even ask for my Money back originally. I asked him to look at until he stood me up. Then I politely asked for a refund. This isn't a scam. Like at all. This guy has threatened me so much today. So much. House destroyed, had to take time out of my day to meet with the police for an hour. And then says he is going to have swat come destroy walls in my house. He said he would make it all go away if I delete my review. It's so insane to me. Said he will destroy my life over $375.
