If you're looking for a company to take down a tree, C2 Crane would be a good choice. They are quite proficient with their crane to remove a tree anywhere on you property. However, when looking for grinding tree stumps and cleaning up, then I would consider another option. When it came to grinding tree stumps, the grinder was in repair and I needed to remind them to complete the job I had paid for. After the grinding was done, they left huge piles of debris in four locations. Then winter of 2026 set in and the debris waited until the beginning of March due to the snow. The worst part of the job was the lack of respect of my property. I was doing some cleaning up on my own when I discovered a piece of a stone memorial for a beloved pet. Obviously, it was broken during the stump grinding. I was never told about this damage and when I reported it to the office, I was offered no compensation; not even an apology. In the beginning of May, 2026, I was trimming some stalks from a hydrangea in a different location in my yard and stumbled on pieces of the stone memorial. It looked as though they had been thrown into the garden so I wouldn't find them. I understand accidents happen, but the workers should have taken responsibility rather than tossing the stone aside like a piece of garbage. This is shamefully unprofessional behavior and very upsetting. One interesting thing I have noticed about reviews I have read is they seem to be from years ago instead of more recent and most of them are positive. I also noticed the crew that came for this last job was not comprised of the guys I'm used to seeing. Maybe the change in crew is the reason for my finding it necessary to report a negative review since I have been using their services since August, 2023. I cannot recommend C2Crane to anyone asking and I will need to find someone else for any other services I might require since they also butchered some shrubbery to the point they are in question of surviving. read more

The guy that came out to quote was amazing. Really knows his stuff. I really only have nice things to say about him. Great guy. The crew that came out to do the work was a little lacking. They left cut branches hanging in one of my trees. When they were trimming the tree closest to my house they just let the branches hit and scrape the house. For the stump grinding they did alright but left one stump piled way too high and another they left holes and roots. I was a helper for a free company when I was younger and we never left cut hanging branches. We never let branches fall and hit the house freely and we made sure to grind all visible stump/roots and not over pile or under pile with the chippings. Chris provided crane service for removal of an old hot tub and to deliver a new one. They provided great service. Were very professional and work very safe in stabilizing the crane on our hilly driveway. I would recommend them for anyone needing a crane. read more

I would avoid this company. We had the top 1/3 of a medium sized pine tree break off during a particularly windy day. My wife called this company and was given a quote that was 4x the price of the next highest quote we received for its removal. When she refused, this company then offered to come over the weekend for a 1/3 of the price. They claimed to be booked for the next 2 weeks. I don't believe them for a second. This review is for firewood provided by C2 Crane & Tree. I selected C2 for my firewood needs because they were the cheapest in the area and I had trouble finding reviews for firewood suppliers. They are somehow affiliated with Myers Tree Service, as the phone number on the Myers site routes to C2. This is odd because C2's advertised phone number does not match the number provided by Myers. Anyway, my initial calls were great and Amy was very responsive and helpful in organizing a dropoff and stacking. The wood came and was neatly stacked. However, I wish I had purchased a moisture meter before delivery, because one try in the fireplace and I soon realized I had a pile of WET wood. Lots of smoke, lots of hissing. This happened on multiple attempts over the next few weeks with logs from different locations in the pile. My pile is covered from weather and has good airflow. I called Amy back to express my disappointment, and she offered to look into it for me by checking with the driver and confirming he grabbed wood from the "right pile." Then, radio silence for weeks. During this time, I left a couple messages wondering if I could get an update. Total silence. I still haven't heard back on what happened. Instead, I received a check in the mail a couple months after receiving my wet wood, which essentially took 20% off (this pseudo-accountability bumped up this review from 1 star to 2). No explanation given, no negotiation on price. I think it would have been reasonable to ask them to replace my pile with burnable wood, but I was not afforded the opportunity to discuss this. We had C2 come out and take out a tree in a difficult corner location bordering three properties. Getting an estimate and scheduling the service was easy. Dave and his crew were on time, professional and impressive. They lowered higher sections of the tree so it wouldn't hit other trees, our shed, or make divits in the yard when they landed. All of the wood was cut to log length and stacked neatly. They were efficient and clean up was very well done. Their price was super reasonable compared to other estimates. c2 was referred to me by 2 different neighbors, they gave me a estimate along with 2 others that I got. Their price came in the middle of the 3 but after talking with the owner I was more than happy to give them the work. they did a beautiful job removing 2 trees and trimming 3 others. the crew was very polite and took great care of my yard. do not let these people near your property...they are the worst took a live tree down from my property and said it wasnt their fault, never checked with me and said the neighbor said it was their tree, clearly on my property, owner was belligerent and rude,never took the time to ask if it was my tree, i am now missing a live tree.....find a better choice read more

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Things started out well. I called them to get an estimate and they sent someone right away and their price was good. I called them the next day with some questions and to schedule the work. Kim who answers the phone answered most of my questions but had to check on one thing about a winter discount and says she will call me back in a day of two. A week and a half go by and I hear nothing then the owner (Chris) calls me at work and says he can do the job that day if I am interested. Didn't even mention my outstanding question. I say no because I am at work. Then Kim calls a couple of days later (still doesn't mention the outstanding question) and says that they can do the job the next day. Since they were the cheapest I had found, I schedule for them to come out between 8-9 on 9/20/2012 but they never showed up or called. At 11, I call the office and Kim says the previous days job ran into this morning and she has to track down the crew to see where it stands. She calls me back 45 minutes later and says that they have finished up the previous job and will be at my house by 1pm. At 1:45 when no one has shown up or called, I call again and Kim puts me on hold while she tries to see what the problem is. She comes back and says that Chris the owner is looking into where the crew is and she will call me back. At 3pm no one has called me back so I call the office again and no one answers this time. I leave a message cancelling the job and then get a call from Chris the owner. He tells me that their equipment broke last night and that put them behind and that he and his crew are still on the other job. He says that he was squeezing me in all along and I had been on the books for a week but Kim failed to notify me until the day before. Basically his story completely contradicts hers and he tries to make it seem like he was doing me a favor squeezing me in because I had been waiting so long. I never said I needed it done quickly so I didn't need to be squeezed in and had never stated such. He was apologetic but his story sounded like BS trying to cover his butt for his unprofessional company. When I started questioning the differences between his story and what Kim had been telling me all day and asking why no one could call me and tell me they were not coming when I had been waiting all day he got defensive. I told him I didn't care anymore and was done with his company and he hung up on me. read more
