The people at Seiple Farms were very friendly and helpful. The prices were great and the trees were beautiful. I am coming back this year. But as a bonus there is a pond at the entrance of the farm where thousand, I mean Thousands of Snow Geese are hanging out. It is an amazing natural phenomenon that is just so amazing. I stood there with my mouth open because I couldn't believe the sight. I am hoping that the geese are there this year.

So much to do & you're not paying an arm and a leg. Pet friendly which is a plus. Admission is free which is nice if you come with a group. Everyone is extremely friendly and there's endless activities. No long waits.

I came here for the first time while being on a weekend getaway from NYC. Being a city girl, farms are a foreign thing to me but I sure do love them. I visited a few other farms in the area, but by far I liked this one best. They had all sorts of activities including carnival rides, pumpkin picking, corn maze, hayrides and more! We did the corn maze which was pretty intricate and huge. We definitely got lost and gave up before we could find all the checkpoints. I thought I would never find the exit. They also had some barn animals which was my main reason for visiting as I love seeing farm animals. I was a bit disappointed that you couldnt interact with the animals much and feed them as they were fenced in but they were still so cute to watch! The piglets and alpacas were so adorable. They even had pony rides which I enjoyed. Overall, I had a great time at this farm and would recommend going.

Our little one is too small for any of the activities or the play area so it was great just to walk around and snag a couple of cute photo ops. Bought some pumpkins and cute little munchkins from the Pumpkin Corral and then some pumpkin bread from the Pumpkin Cafe. It's $5 for a slide of pumpkin bread of $12 for the loaf so we went for a loaf! It was delish, not too sweet and great texture. They have lots of fun activities geared towards kids and even a trick or treat glow corn maze some nights. Our tree was beautiful and full with sturdy branches. The team at the farm was very friendly and engaging and the price was reasonable. This will be our new place!

I have driven by this place a ton of times and I knew of them from the local area farm tours, etc. but we had never thought of getting a live tree or stopping here until well...yesterday. While I know that they do all kinds of activities in fall and into November/December, I'm only testifying about what they do regarding trees. Just to specify this even further, I'm not talking about showing up and buying a pre-cut tree, I mean the Full Monty of cutting your own. All pertinent info is in the below link: www.unangst-treefarm.com/christmas-2014-information Basically you show up and take one of the wagons and one of their saws out to the field and cut away. It does help to ask inside the gift shop/barn as to where you're allowed to currently cut but overall it's pretty straight forward. After you're done, you take it over to the guys in the pre-cut tree area and they will clean up the bottom, shake out any loose needles (or random small critters) and tie it up for you. They give you a tag that goes back to the barn for payment (cash or card - no Amex) and then you pick up your tree to go home with. Very, very easy. We showed up at 3:40pm and the were done and on the road by 4. I guess it could take longer if it's a weekend and/or there are tons of people there but for us it was very fast. All info for pricing is here: www.unangst-treefarm.com/types-of-christmas-trees Time will tell if we'll be coming back here in the future for another tree or if this was a one off but at the very least the process is easy and the experience was fun. While there are certainly other tree farms in the area, Unangst to me would be tough to beat in terms of customer service and overall experience. A+ (Note that plenty of other places will sell trees cheaper but in the current environment where demand for trees in a lot of cases is exceeding realistic supply, this place is still open and selling while others closed a week ago or more in some cases. It is what it is.)

Let's bring this one up to the current:…read more Anyone who is local to the area can tell you that Scholl goes way, way back. Their roadside stand on Center Street (512) has sort of always been there even if it's almost so small that you could very easily drive right by it. What do they carry? A little bit of everything. While most items are obviously seasonal other things like apples, pears, potatoes, local honey and squash are sold more or less year-round. www.schollorchards.com/harvest-calendar For me the best of the best with honors is that they still continue to produce their non-pasteurized apple cider. Fantastic flavor and they grow more than enough varieties that the blend is always a little different based on what they used for that batch. Three more noteworthy additions: Contrary to the Yelp listing, they do indeed take cards. The parking situation here is always a bit of a crapshoot. Maybe four or five spaces and in season it's interesting at best trying to maneuver in/out with the heavy traffic on this section of Center Street. The pricing for their stuff is definitely not cheap. If you're looking for "deals" or more discounted pricing like you can get by going to Berks/Lancaster County Mennonite/Amish farms for similar products, you're not getting that here. It's expensive, but it's worth it. Either way, Scholl has been churning it out for almost eighty years and clearly, they know what they're doing and it's more than worth a regular visit. www.schollorchards.com/hours
