    The corn mazes were fun!
    Niz I.

This place was super fun and so close to home! I took my kids here to have some activities to do on Sunday. We did all sorts of activities. We fed the petting animals. They had goats, pigs, sheeps and ,chickens. The larger sheeps were a little aggressive when they were eating I was a Little afraid they would bite my kids fingers. But everything turned out fine. The kids had a blast! Having the animals push their heads in between the fences to try to eat off their hands. It was so fun We went on horse rides. They have a small pony and a large horse. My children wanted to ride the big horse because they thought it was more fun. The horse went in circle, once for $5 and twice for $8. A man guided the horse the whole time to make sure the kids were safe while riding the horse. We went on the hayride and that was pretty awesome. They have a nice long hayride where a lot of people can go on it. They are large corn maze was really fun it was long and interesting. They had you play bing while you walk thru it. So fun!! The shorter one for the kids is also fun they had information about bees and you had to find six clues about bees before you got out. We went pumpkin picking too! It is $.50 per pound. They had a nice variety of pickings and they were fresh to pick and not all rotten and over ripe, which is a plus!! They also sell Mums which were so beautiful and full of flowers! I bought a bunch! They also have food stand with finger foods like, fries, burgers, and pretzels. They sell apple cider and also have sodas. It was a nice day at the farm!

Got our beautiful Christmas tree at Unangst tree farm this year. We spend quite a while researching tree farms in the NE Pennsylvania area and decided to go here. We are in love with our tree and every single guest asks where we got it from. We will be back every year!!

The hayride was fun as well and though it didn't go that far, a pretty long ride which they enjoyed.

She been…read moreloving the decorations and Christmas lights she saw in our neighborhood or when driving around, so I thought this would a great family outing to close our the holiday season. If heard of Shady Brooks light show and has never been myself - neither had my boyfriend - so it was the first time for all of us. We paid in advance online and there was luckily a discount so we only paid $25 per car instead of the original listed price of $45 per vehicle. It's was about a 40 minute drive for us coming from the city and we luckily didn't have any traffic on our way there or back. When turning into their site, they had signs to direct you to the lanes/area to drive through the light show. Once we got to that area, we drove up to the booth so they can scan our ticket, handed us a newspaper/booklet to go with it, and we were on our way! The light displays, concepts and sections (e.g. "12 Days of Christmas" with 12 displays of drummers drumming) were very well done. Our little one loveeeeedd it - except for the Grinch of course because, he's the Grinch lol. It wasn't a short drive through but not too long either. Once we finished the light show, we did park and got out to take a quick look at what else was going on and get a lay of the land. Would definitely recommend checking this out for the holidays and we would come back to check out the playground for her, wagon rides, etc.

Five stars for their incredible holiday lights display! This is probably the most impressive…read moreholiday light display that I've ever seen. Prepare for around 30 minutes to drive through, but that will of course depend on how crowded it is. I don't love being outside in the cold, so absolutely loved that this was a drive through experience. Put some Christmas tunes on in the car and take in all of the magic! The enchanted forest and lit up trees was probably my favorite part. We only visited for the lights, but I've heard great things about all of the activities on the farm and would love to go back in the fall.

Cash only place but they do have an ATM onsite with small service fees!…read more At least when I went on October 1st. It was $20(Kinda Pricey) for entrance but it includes a good amount of things to do. I added a picture that lists what all is included. When you arrive, there's a hay ride that takes you to the festival from the parking lot! Very kid friendly and lots of photo opportunities. My favorite part was the corn maze and the pumpkin patch. There are a few things that aren't included in the price. I saw a pumpkin cannon launcher that was extra and it was pretty cool to watch! The food isn't amazing and a bit pricey but it's to be expected really at something like this! They had BBQ, lemonade stand, funnel cakes, Playa Bowls and one of the food trucks had seafood. Over all a good experience to visit once a year with larger group on nice fall day, support your local farms and farmers!

A huge slide with a corn pit, a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, food trucks, and so much more. Pro tips 1. Bring cash, they are cash only. $20 per person to get into the fall festival, there's usually a line because everyone wants to go, and if you forgot cash there is an ATM but the line for thr ATM seems even longer than the entrance line. Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound. 2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful. 3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.

They have several food trucks with lots of different choices. They have a nice farmer's market that is nicely decorated and has plenty of items for sale. They have a great selection of pies too. We came on the last Sunday of September, so the pumpkin patch and hayrides were already open (I believe they open mid-September) but they still had some late varieties of apples. They had some veggies available for picking too - tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. You just need to purchase a bag and you can use it for both. Admission was about $15 per adult, which you have to purchase online. Kids 3 and under are free. We did the 9:30 time slot but didn't get there until 10, which didn't seem to be an issue. It's definitely best to go early so you can avoid as much of the crowd as possible. We spent almost three hours there and it was crowded by the time we left. The good thing about going in September is that most people don't want to go until October, so you get to avoid that mess. But the bad thing is that it's still probably really hot and if you're picking fruits/veggies in hot weather, it's not the most fun. By the time we were done picking apples and veggies, we were all hot and tired by the time we got to the pumpkin patch. So I'd suggest doing all of your photo ops at the pumpkin patch first and then doing all the manual labor. They have a few food trucks in one area and the apple cider slush was nice and refreshing after picking fruit. They also have a farm store with your usual suspects - pies, apple cider donuts, pre-made salads/sandwiches, etc., but we didn't buy anything. I think I found our new go-to farm. It's nice that you can kill two birds with one stone. I saw they have U-cut Christmas trees in December so I'm interested to see if they're doing any Christmas events - I wouldn't mind making the drive back.
