I can't justify that, but after reading some other reviews on/off Yelp, there are a lot of people who agree with that. To me, this is your average grocery store. I wasn't impressed with the selection or the prices. The market is open from 8am - 7pm (Mon-Sat) and 8am - 5pm on Sunday. There is plenty of parking and plenty of registers open at check out.

The two gentleman were very helpful and despite my many questions they made sure I was getting the right cut of meat and that I knew how to treat it. Their meat made for the BEST filet Mignon shish kebabs I have EVER eaten. They also make artisanal charcuterie from what I could see, and had some super special thick cut bacon that a previous customer was raving about, who was also picking up a special ground meat order he requested to be made with specific cuts of meat. They are the REAL DEAL!!!

Ooh, you make my Weber run, my Weber run Fire it up on the deck, Corona Never gonna stop, grill it up, such a dirty mind I always get it fired up for the taste of the filet mignon My, my, my, I, yi, woo! M-m-m-my Corona! They got the meats. Literally. And, they're pretty amazing. It's almost ironic (sadly) that we discovered our meat slice of heaven during the Coronavirus pandemic, but ever more appropriate. The meats are exceptional, fairly priced and served with a kind generous attitude. They offer delivery to a broad range of locations (Pocono Pines included - which is where we are) and also a no-contact pickup. It's as easy as call your order in, pay over the phone and pull up with an open trunk to have them drop the order in. Our personal favorites are their properly sized and thickness filet mignons (9oz) as they have a true "melt-in-you-mouth" texture. For a special burger, the Squealers grill up nicely with an extra bit of juice from all their special ingredients. You also cannot go wrong with their giant juicy chicken breasts, their regular chopped meat (for a high quality make at home burger) or even their eggs! We've made Corona butcher part of our Poconos mix and highly recommend you do too.

I stopped by here after a google map search and was happy to find them! Very sweet family who had…read moresome really nice pork portions. I'm guessing because of the beef shortages due to the pandemic they were all out of beef. They had plenty of ground pork, bone in and boneless pork chops, sweet/hot/summer sausages, pork ribs, ham and bacon mostly. Fresh eggs, raw milk, chocolate milk and regular milk. I found the prices fair and came away with three packages of pork chops, one each of sweet and hot sausage and bacon for around $26 bucks. I found it to be a good value. I also picked up some raw milk which was delicious in our coffee over the holiday weekend. We marinated and baked the pork chops and I found them to be of good quality. We grilled the sausages and the hot had a very nice kick, the regular sweet Italian sausage had some peppery kick as well. The bacon came in thinner slices and well as thicker wider cuts so if your a fan of bacon size variety you'll like the bacon. All in all I found the experience worthwhile. Good people and quality local meats, can't beat that!

Their breads looked great (ciabatta, french country, pullman seeded, baguettes, and best looking to me roasted garlic asiago), but we passed on them this go around. I'll snag one on the next visit along with their chicken pot pie. Some notes from what I bought: The Bavarian style pretzels were good, a bit on the stale side. At $5 a piece I'd pass next time unless fresh. The chocolate chip cookies were $4 a piece, huge and delicious. Regular pork bacon $13lb was delicious with a light touch of smoke. Hot Italian Sausage $13lb went well with a spaghetti dinner. The heat was just right. Eggs - $9 a dozen. I bought a dozen pullet eggs - notes on the carton "Pullet eggs come from our new flock of laying hens and are only around for the spring months, While smaller, they are more nutrient dense and have brighter yolks." They were tasty. We had fun watching my youngest walk and talk with the chickens, but weren't able to see the pigs or rabbits. The smell of the wood burning oven baking fresh pizza shells was nice along with the fresh country air. The shop is small, but they had the freezers filled with different cuts of meat (beef, pork, chicken didn't see rabbit) and coolers/shelves filled with locally made pantry items (jams, honey, syrup, olive oils, coffee). You can also buy gift cards and shirts/hats. I'll repeat to try more items when in the area again. Thanks guys!
