The bathroom was "out of order", but the guy gave me the key. Sadly the bathroom was dirty and had no paper towels or air dryer. The deli area of the store had some handmade sandwiches which were on decent looking long rolls with best by dates on them. I could see a meat slicer behind the counter, so he must be making his own sandwiches. It was the last stop before the highway (about 6 miles from I-476) and it was starting to snow so I took a chance on an Italian hoagie. It wasn't too bad for $5.99, the Italian roll was the best part. He had some pizza slices and burgers to go in a warmer. The sandwich was filling and like I said the roll was the best part. The meats were fine and overall the sandwich was full with fresh lettuce and tomato. I get the stigma of gas station food, but all that aside when you have a sign on your property that says fresh deli you need to keep your store clean to attract people.
