Thorough inspection with a lightening fast turn around time for the completed report. The inspectors at SEI Inspections are very knowledgeable and can educate first timers on the ins and outs of their real estate. The attention to detail is unmatched! read more

I have used SEI twice and both times Travis was awesome. His reports are always very detailed and he captures KEY info for the buyer and documents it thoroughly, enabling me to leverage his report in negotiations. I appreciate his thoroughness and detailed documentation. I would recommend Travis and SEI without any reservations at all. read more

I used Travis recently (3/19) and I was impressed with his attention to detail and candor on what was a serious issue and was not. He is professional but also has a funny personality and a great sense of humor. You'll be glad you hired him. read more

We were referred to SEI Inspections by a neighbor who had previously used them. Travis was extremely professional from beginning to end. His price was more than fair ($300 for our size house) and included thermal imaging to look for water leaks or insulation issues. He even flew his drone over the house to look for any roof problems. How cool is that?!? He reviewed all of his findings with us after the inspection was complete and answered all of our questions. The report came very quickly and is very thorough. This was an 11 month warranty inspection for us and Travis helped us understand what we need to do to get certain things corrected by the builder at our one year inspection with them. We could not be happier with our decision to use SEI Inspections! Thank you Travis for an outstanding job! read more

This home purchase, I decided to find my own inspector instead of using my agents guy. I am so glad I did. SEI Inspections has great reviews and I know why now. Travis was prompted calling me. He got me schedule within the time I needed for my option period. He was on time and he was very detailed. I was confident he was working for me and making sure I knew what I was getting into. He even took the time to show us a slide at the end so we could understand what was right and wrong with this home. His paper work was easy to understand and he also had pictures of what it should look like. We will even use him to check that the house was fixed by the seller later. If you want a great eye and need to know if your home has good bones call Travis. read more

First time home buyer here - this however was the second home I had submitted an offer on. Let me start by saying that I had used another company for the first home, which was twice as much as SEI's total cost, and they were in and out of the inspection in about an hour or so. They spent no time with me to explain their findings and just said - you'll have it all in the report. Travis and Ryan were the complete opposite of this. They walked me through their findings, answered all my questions no matter how dumb, and gave me great general advice on things I would want to keep an eye on in regards to the foundation etc. They are great! read more

Excellent Job and very professional. Travis was patient enough to educate us on our home inspection. He came highly recommended by a friend, and I would have to agree. If you are buying a home, call this guy. read more

Travis was awesome! He was available and answered all of my questions (a lot since I'm a first time home buyer). He responded very quickly. He was patient and gave speedy results. We'll definitely use him again in future endeavors. read more

Travis has been very helpful throughout the construction and completion of my new home. I am a first time home buyer and had little experience with such project. Travis provided a very thorough three phase inspection. He explained everything to me very clearly and even taught me how to look for things myself. During the last inspection, he gave me many tips on how to maintain the house. He issues his inspection report in a timely manner and would always call out things in time. He caught and corrected many problems during construction, and made my home more strong and robust. I was very happy I have such a good inspector. I would definitely recommend him to my friends. read more

Travis with SEI Inspections was incredible to work with. With little time to make inspection arrangements for my new home, he accommodated my tight schedule while also providing the most competitive deal I could find. He was able to get the full inspection report back to me that same day; I was very impressed with his thoroughness and attention to detail. I absolutely recommend SEI and will be using them again in the future! read more

As a first time buyer, Travis was great. He was very thorough and took the time to explain all of his findings. The report he gave us also looked very professional and it was easy to isolate the things you wanted addressed by the seller. He even followed up a few days later with a phone call. I highly recommend this service. read more

Travis was great! He is very knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything he found wrong with the house he inspected. Trey provides a detailed meticulous home inspection service. He is professional and courteous. I am in the process of purchasing a new constructed home. I almost did not get an inspection for that reason, but I am glad I did. He delivers a comprehensive written report accompanied by pictures and video. His price included thermal imaging as well. You will not be disappointed. read more

We highly recommend Travis! He's quick to respond, and did a wonderful job inspecting our potential home. You can tell he really knows his stuff, and he is happy to walk you through all of his findings. He was very honest and straightforward with red flags and areas of concern, which we really appreciated (even though we didn't like what he had to say!) We decided to move forward with buying the house, despite all of the issues that he laid out for us in detail. We hope we don't regret that decision, but at least we will have very realistic expectations of what we will be dealing with thanks to Travis's inspection! read more

It went great. Travis was very thorough with the inspection. We felt at ease asking him questions and he took his time inspecting the condo. The completed report was ready the very next day. I was also very grateful that he was available on weekends. As an extra bonus, he provided me with a list of home professional service contacts whom he trusts to help me with home fixes or projects. read more

This reinspection of my property went very well and was extremely helpful in finding issues that I was not able to. Very detailed, efficient and timely. Travis is amazing . We used his services first time a few months ago while on a house hunt for our first home . We loved the house but deep inside I knew it needed a lot of work . I am very particular with whom I pick to do any work so I researched for hours and found Travis ( SEI) to be the best rated and booked the spot . I found him on Angie's list .The whole process of booking was easy my grandma could do . He arrived promptly after texting me to make sure he has the right address etc . He then began his inspection . I am not exactly intrigued by this kind of line of duty but I was mesmerized by his attention to the details . He noticed EVERYTHING that was wrong with the house . Every major and little thing that I couldn't possibly even think of . Then wait for it he user drone so he can take a better look and high definition pictures of the roof . He took his time making sure he looks at every inch of the home . My report was ready the next day . When I looked at the pictures and explanations and all they details again I decided to call him to go over the report to understand it more . 75 pages ! Wow . He explained all of it and why we would probably should consider looking elsewhere perhaps , because the house wasn't easy to fix and would require a lot of material and timely effort . Fast forward a few months we just now inspected a home and Travis once again is a star . He found out about things that helped us tremendously negotiate and the most important to get the house ready to comply with the code . I am forever thankful to Travis for saving us from the first disaster of a home and helping with a new one . Btw he is coming to recheck the work the builder will do soon to fix the house . A million times recommended ! Thank you !!!! read more

Great and friendly home inspector! Got on top of roof even though a "hurricane" was passing! Highly recommended.

We ended up using Travis for a 2nd AND 3rd inspection. Received the same great service as the first!

I immediately contacted Travis for a 2nd time to perform another home inspection because I had such a positive 1st experience with him. I appreciated his services even more since the home was almost 50 years old. Travis was prompt and patient to explain whatever we did not understand. I felt confident that if there was anything wrong with this older unit, he would find it! Even my agent was impressed with how thorough and detailed Travis' reports were, as well as easy to understand and reference. She plans to put him on her own list of inspectors because his prices are extremely reasonable! Thank you, Travis! read more

Travis with SEI Inspections came highly recommended and did not disappoint! He was very thorough and knowledgeable while completing our home inspection. He was more than happy to walk us around the property pointing out his findings and explaining in detail. He answered all of our questions with a smile throughout. Having an inspector with a drone to inspect the roof and high areas is crucial, especially in the tight neighborhoods of Houston. The report was provided very quickly and helped in our buying negotiations. read more

Travis was awesome! We're new to the process and he made sure to answer all our questions and explain everything he found. Not to mention, he accommodated our appointment at the last moment due to a time crunch and scheduling. So grateful we were referred to Travis. Can't beat his expertise! read more

Excellent! Very thorough and great value for the price. Takes the time to explain everything inside and out.

I found SEI Inspections on Yelp and was very satisfied. Travis from SEI Inspections did a great job checking the house that I am currently buying. He is very nice person, friendly, professional and detail-oriented. He did thorough inspection (house is not new), checked everything and found several critical issues that have to be fixed by the seller. He used infrared camera to detect leaks and electrical problems. He provided the best rate for this service (I compared rates between several competitors). He took pictures around the house, provided very detailed report and also helped to estimate possible repair cost. I would highly recommend SEI Inspections! read more

SEI Inspections did a great job on my home inspection. My report was very thorough and detailed. SEI Inspections is a company I highly recommend. They were punctual, courteous, and very thorough. We received our inspection report within 36 hours. Very pleased with this company and will recommend. read more

Travis was just what I was looking for! I am new to Houston and coming from knowing contractors and inspectors I could trust. When I found Travis he met all of my expectations. I am on OCD person who wants to know everything about the home -- not just as a bargaining chip, but to understand the needs of regular maintenance and quality. Travis walked me through everything in person, explained Texas codes and differences when I needed it. It did not stop there though ... I spoke with Travis on the phone to clarify findings and he even provided reference codes when I needed to understand more. If you are looking for someone who will go above and beyond, who is detail oriented, checks every last home item and then takes the time to make you comfortable with his findings ... then Travis is for you. I can't let is go unsaid that he was out to the home within 36 hours of my request. Just impressed! read more
