We had the best experience with Gregg at Lone Star Stucco. He reworked his scheduled to get to our job quickly while we were in an option period buying a house. He was incredibly thorough, wrote up a very detailed report and then called and talked us through the report to make sure we understood everything. He then sent our report out to 3 companies for repair estimates so we would have a better idea at what the cost to fix everything would be. He kept in touch after his part of the job was over to make sure we understood the estimates and that the job was being repaired adequately. If you choose to use Lone Star Stucco, be cautious about his recommended contractors. Gregg Morgan is very knowledgeable, and he is also friendly and, usually, responsive. Following his report, we spent nearly $20k on a job to fix our stucco and install new windows, using his recommended stucco contractor and window vendor. These windows leaked right away, and the stucco contractor covered them in layers of layers of sealant instead of figuring out how to get it right. As a result, the windows look horrible and are more of a liability than an asset to our home value. read more

Where do I begin? Gregg and his wife Angela at Lone Star Stucco are top notch. I was really hesitant to spend a good chunk of change on a stucco inspection on top of what I had to pay for a general inspection. But what I gave to Lone Star came back to me 10 fold. Gregg's prices were comparable if not better than his competitors. The inspection and the cost are completely worth it. My fiancé and I put an offer on a stucco home and we had Gregg come out for an inspection during the option period. Angela was very helpful when setting up the appointment and Gregg was accommodating enough to let us meet up with him before he finished. There were a lot of issues with the stucco and the roof top deck. Gregg was honest and forthcoming, we weren't left guessing on what our next step should be. The inspection with Gregg saved us thousands of dollars and stopped us from making a horrible investment for our first home. You would think that would be enough for me to give him 5 stars, but theres more. We continued our house hunt and found another home. I texted Gregg just to ask for some advice and without hesitation he pointed us in the right direction. Proper customer service in a lost art nowadays but Gregg went above and beyond. If I could give him more stars I would. If you find a bad review out there, I can't even imagine how that is possible. Gregg is not only a consummate professional and extremely competent in what he does but he treats you like a family and he places YOUR interest and YOUR representation above all things. I shared all of the similar experiences of the earlier 5 star raters. But what stood out for me is his honesty and unparalleled integrity. Gregg showed up to my inspection promptly and began going over the general areas and he quickly discovered a major flaw on the stucco system around the house. The finding was well articulated and explained to me in such a way that I was able to size up very quickly what the house needed in terms of potential repairs and he guided the decision process very professionally. Gregg spent an hour doing his work at the property but since we have decided to not go forward with the sale based on his finding, Gregg did not continue the inspection for the rest of the property. He then refused to be paid for the work citing that his work was incomplete and that he felt just as bad that the deal will not go through. I never met someone so unmotivated by money. He could have easily asked for a partial payment or insist on completing the inspection and get paid in full since he was called out to do it. But neither would have benefited me given what we found and he was very upfront in saying that he would like his customer to receive the full benefit of his advise and inspection. I simply could not believe we have someone like Gregg in professional trade these days. The real kicker is Gregg really gets into his work and is passionate about what he does. I mean does it get any better than this ?. I would recommend highly to either the buyer and seller because he tells you not what you want to hear but the truth, (we all need more of this, especially in real estate transactions) if you are into that sort of thing. read more

Gregg got to our house (which is for sale) quickly and debriefed with us on a weekend. It was clear he was thorough from his pictures, e.g., went into the house to hang out of windows to take readings, climbed up on objects, etc.. Gregg inspected a property that we were considering and after a couple of inspectors said we shouldn't go near anything with stucco elements Gregg was very optimistic and helpful. He is very professional. He took his time evaluating the property and walked us through all the different aspects of the inspection.
