Glad it wasn't as busy as the holiday season.. Staff always helpful and friendly.. Even got a $5.00 coupon for my next visit.. Yes, I took the free sample.. ! It's funny because my youngest son said someone gave him a See's chocolate marshmallow that was really good! read more

See's Candies - Sugar free section - Candy Stores Near Me - Reno, Nevada

See's Candy is corporate chocolate that is a solid choice. One might do better (and at a higher cost) with a local specialty chocolate shop or poorer at the local drug store (Russell-Stover when I grew up). But for the variety, samples, taste, and service, See's continues to be a good value for the money. The only real downside of this See's outpost is finding it within a fairly large and busy Meadowood Mall. The Mall directory helps once the orientation confusion subsides. Once here, we found the well designed, clean, and well lit store that we expected. We picked up a few pre-wrapped 1 pound boxes for a local fundraiser, and then proceeded to the front counter to pick out individual chocolates for ourselves and Gayle's Mom. Service was friendly, engaged, and helpful. And of course our selections disappeared a little too soon. read more

the staff is nice and the candy is great. my husband loves this place and got a christmas gift card we spent here

The staff is super friendly and very efficient, especially since it's the busy holiday season. Lots of nice options for gifting. I like to keep a few boxes on hand for last minute gifts or party treats. The candies are on the pricey side but yoi are gettong a trused brand and good quality. And of course, the free in-store samples are nice! read more

OMG! I can't resist getting a little See's candy. Henry helped me with my decision. He even introduced me to their sugar-free selections. Who knew See's would finally have sugar-free candy. Henry was very pleasant and knowledgeable about their candies. read more

I rarely buy See's Candies and when I do, it's normally during the holidays because I'm at the mall. The store always smells amazing and is kept so clean and organized, it could rival any hospital. The counter ladies are so friendly and as sweet as their inventory. I like how See's has a bountiful collection of different flavors from milk to dark, even sone sugar-free varieties but hands down my all-time favorite is their Bordeaux, which cones in truffle or bar form, and is a creamy brown sugar soft center covered in milk chocolate and decorated with chocolate sprinkles). It's very decadent but if you're gonna treat yourself, you might as well go big or go home. read more

We've been going to See's for years, but tonight we had the best customer service we've ever had from Margaret. We ordered a hand-packed box and she ensured we had a perfect amount of the pieces we requested. The store was fairly empty when we arrived, or we wouldn't have requested a hand-packed box, but got very busy as we ordered. However, Margaret ensured we got exactly what we wanted and luckily there was plenty of staff on hand to take care of other customers. She was so cheerful and sweet and she gave us the best sample while we waited. Our best experience ever at the Reno See's store! read more

I'm not quite sure how or why it's easy to forget how delicious their candy is because every time I walk away with a purchase, I tell myself that I need to come back more often. I think it might be the location. Anyway, be sure to take a moment to go into See's Candies and purchase yourself the gift of chocolate, and you'll know why they've been around as long as they have. read more

I had the best experience in See's Candy. Mary Clare helped me and she provided me with the best help and customer service. She answered every question I had so kindly and patiently. I would give a 10/10 to the store just for how amazing she was. read more

Really great that See's is open. as usual, you can pick a prepackaged box or they can handpick them for you. They seem real eager to help and glad that they are reopen. We had to miss a lot of S'ees candy with Easter, Mother's Day and an anniversary that passed, so will have to double down and make up for it now that they're open. read more

My wife and I love the candy here but unfortunately, I recently learned I'm allergic to chocolate and nearly every one of their candies as a result. Not a big deal if you don't have allergies but it's started me wondering about the quality of their products. Time changes all things. The bigger you get, the more you're worth. The more you're worth, the greater the temptation to lower one's standards. I'm also very disappointed that every year the price seems to get higher and higher. I buy our friends a box of suckers for Christmas every year and I'm going to have to start reducing the size of the box I buy them or look for sales/specials in order to continue this tradition. Even if I want to surprise Mrs. E, why would it cost more than $40 for a couple pounds of chocolates? It's also aggravating to wait in a line that is out the door and down the hallway around Christmas time. They used to do a kiosk in the mall's hallway but now they don't so you just have to wait if you want to build your own box of chocolates which requires incredible patience. Patience Steven E. does not possess. I recently heard a rumor that they have a satellite location in south Carson in the strip mall near Trader Joe's. I will find out for next Christmas and diligently report back! 1/20 read more

Wholly frikken Molly!!! ROBERTA!!!! I have a lifetime, love, passion, and commitment to Sees candy! I have yet to encounter a chocolatier that understands this until today!!! Hello world... meet Roberta at Meadowwood mall here in Reno NV! Amazing customer service. She was so conscientious of what I was putting in my 1 pound box until I told her that I'm actually creating a 2 pound box in a one pound box.!!!!!!! She wanted me to understand everything along the way as I was ordering double pieces in a single cup ect... it was quite impressive. Once I shared my understanding with her of what I was choosing and why...she was like... okay...let's go... what would you like???? Roberta left me with so much wonderful upcoming information about Valentine's Day... She left me with an incredible customer experience that wants me to send a shout out on yelp!!!! Thank you so much ROBERTA! You rock!!! Thank you so much Sees Candy for making the best chocolate on planet earth from a wholly committed lifetime consumer. We grew up in Southern California and we grew up on Sees Candy. I don't know anything different in my entire life and I've never tasted any cholate better than Sees! PERIOD!! . Thank you, Roberta for such great customer service.!!! Thank you Sees Candyfor being a leader in excellence! read more

How could a person dislike See's Candies? My weakness is Dark Almonds, I buy some every time I am in the mall. You have to love the free sample too. If I like the free sample I normally buy a few dollars worth of them too. The staff is always nice and knowledgeable. If a person is buying several different candies they'll suggest buying as a package to save money rather than paying for several different candies. If you are ever walking by a See's Candies store, stop in get a free sample, and you might just end up buying something else too. read more

Background Shopping for Easter candy several days before the holiday. Type of Menu Candy, candy, candy! Chocolate candy, jelly beans, peanut brittle, toffee Quality of Food When I think of See's, I think of those fond memories from my own youth, many years ago. Love the creamy chocolate. I bought a chocolate bunny and chocolate Easter eggs. The chocolate is so creamy and not waxy Pricing With retail always increasing in price, the price of the candy is comparable to what times are like nowadays and maybe even less than some of the more expensive candies around Service The lvely ladies there are always smiling and quick to keep the tradition of the free candy pice you get with your purchase. Cleanliness What's not clean about the classic, standardized white candy store with black and white floors and black highlights? read more

I love this sees candy store polite and patient customer service and a large assortment of sees candy.

Love me some See's Candies and this two star rating is not based on the taste. I've been visiting the Meadowood Store for as long as I can remember for the family favorites! This is based on the rudeness of the woman who works there. She yelled at a woman who accidentally walked in without her mask up and then talked in a very rude manner about the customer with another employee after she left. This is very unprofessional and not a person I would ever want representing my company. I think next year I will try a local chocolate company instead. read more

This See's candies is located in the meadowood mall. They sell just chocolate and stickers and other confections This is the go to store for good quality chocolate, for special occasions like Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, and anniversary. The older woman working the second counter was so extremely rude - so much so I put my items down and left the shop.

The gal at Sees was Awesome. Her name is Erin. She showed me a really neat selection of sugar free candies for myself and my Diabetic family. She even gave me a sugar free sample that was Super Delicious and will certainly make me come back for even more Excellent choices. What a Great variety and the Prices are Just Right. We LOVE See's Candy! Wish there was a permanent location in Lake Tahoe or Carson City! Or wish they could ship to us at least... Thank you for staying open during the pandemic. Wow. The holiday spirit is not at See's candy. Which is sad because a lot of people go there for Holiday shopping! My most recent visit to See's was tainted by a lady behind the counter forbidding anyone from going to the register out of order. Seems logical except that we, and others, were grabbing premixed boxes from the shelves and we were forced to wait for the people selecting candy from behind the glass. I can't begin to explain how inefficient this process was! Why wouldn't you ring up someone who is ready rather than have them wait behind someone building a custom mix chocolate box? For Pete's Sake lady, you might get paid by the hour but I have other places I need to be! People walked out of the store because of it and still, the lady would not cave. Thankfully another woman appeared who understood how absurd this whole situation had become. She was lovely and probably saved us from dying a slow death in that line. read more

Such friendly staff at this See's. They are so helpful and one even opened a different register for me even though there was just one person in front of me. She also offered to call a different store to check if they had the cinnamon hearts I wanted for a Valentines Day gift but I had already grabbed enough sweet treats. Of course, the candy is all amazing and the consistent quality you expect at Sees. Thanks for the great service! read more

OK I give up, I love See's candies. It really is the best around. But I went in the other day and picked up a Bordeaux candy bar and was just disgusted. This is the nicest See's store....the staff makes it a fun experience with their kindness and professionalism, and the neat-as-a-pin tiny store has that irresistible vintage vibe and the black-and-white awnings...don't forget to give props to the photo of founder Mary See. I guess all See's stores have classic California candy, but this one is extra-nice...My secret is to walk through the Macy's men's store and voila., the See's store is right there, and I can get in and out of the mall in ten minutes. I hate malls... read more

It's chocolate so that already is 4 stars. But the other star is for the service. I wanted to get a box for me and some gifts for the office but I didnt know how small sizes and prices worked. The girl behind the counter was so patient even though they were full. The shop is small so it was crowded. She helped my really fast and I got 5 mini bags with like 5-7 pieces each and a 2 lb box for me. I much prefer this sees location to the other in town. I will be going to this one next time I need my fix. read more

I am a very regular customer here. The best quality chocolates for as long as I can remember. Just picked up my last gifts for xmas and I was blown away by how friendly the staff is here. Tons of people in line and they were so calm and collected. Is it working with all of the chocolate that makes them this way? Perhaps. But every time I do come in here, they are always great.
