I've come to this place a few times and it's always been a really cool experience! This store is so unique in the vast array of wacky types of soda's, drinks, candy's and trinkets that they sell! This place sells so many old candies, exotic soda's, joke drinks like Mustard Soda or Cookie Dough soda. The employees here are always nice as well and there's always nice and calming music playing! A cool store with a large variety of sodas and candies from everywhere, including vintage candies from my childhood. Not, to mention I was surprised to see Idaho's Farr's candy here too. Some flavors I noticed were grape soda, blueberry soda, and strawberry soda. I think they sell every flavor of saltwater taffy. So many flavors of taffy not to mention some of my favorites such as root beer, peanut butter, and peppermint. It reminds me of the old-fashioned penny and nickel candy stores of my youth. Believe me, if you have a kid they will adore this store. It is the perfect store to go to if looking for party favors or candy to fill a pinata this would be the store to go to. This is always such a fun place to go! There is a ton of candy, and although people really want a bargain when they shop, they also have to realize that these are specialty candies for the most part, so you pay a little more. This is not just a candy store for kids, adults will love it even more! I was so amazed how they had old school candy; the candy from back in the day. This establishment isn't a resturant but it does have quite the number of best treats. Taking a blast to the past and seeing a lot of the fun candies, snacks and sodas I use to enjoy as a kid was really cool! I got big red soda I loved as a kid and it brought back so many memories. They have things like tons of flavors of salt water taffy, Razzles, zotz, Bertie Botts every flavor beans, pocky, big league chew, and so much more. Rocket Fizz "The Best Candy Store EVER!" I recently visited the new location in the Sparks area, I've only been to one of these before but this stores packed with a bunch of yummy goodness! From different varieties of Soda, candy there is no way your gonna walk out "empty handed" I sure didnt. Now like some business, we all have good things an we all have bad things but this store has hardly any flaws. The Best is the different kinds of vintage an old style candies an soda's your local retailer doesnt carry!! Plus they've got new stuff you've wished for but never able to try, give this place a shot you'll love em. The Bad is well like I said it hardly has any. The prices are steep for like custom 4pk ($7.99), 6pk (10.99) 12pks (N/A) sorry I forgot but it's pretty hefty, but when you see the uniqueness of the drinks you can see why its cost effective. So it's not really that expensive but some may see it that way, but before you pass that deal up just take a min an think... "Where and When am I gonna see it again" The owner of this location is very sweet and kind and most of all shes professional in every way, not to mention she does allow customers a FREE sample (1 piece) of Salt Water Taffy. I love seeing a small little hometown place like this amongst the bustling that is becoming Reno/Sparks. Tonight, we made it to the door with 1 minute to closing. They let my three daughters run around for 30 seconds to pick out a dessert. They were awesome. It's all a little cheap and probably overpriced, but this place is a gem and a great spot for kids and to reminisce about vintage candy. Last time we were here I bought the metal lunchboxes. We left and sat outside to go over our things and discovered one of the boxes had a missing hing. I took it back inside with a receipt and they traded it out but had to check with the manager and sort of balked about doing it. Nice set up! Enjoyed seeing such a variety of candy; some I haven't seen in a long time and some I've never seen. Some of the candy was way over priced by $1.49 on the Hi-Chew candy that I can get for $1 at any Oriental store that sells foods. Just left the store with a treat for our son for being good in the movies, only to find that the Whirly Pop was completely smashed to pieces (we noticed seconds after leaving the store when trying to open it). We went back immediately and asked for them to exchange the damaged goods only to be told no, and that we "shouldn't have left the store if we knew it was broken." Obviously we wouldn't have purchased it if we knew it was broken- the whole point of a $4.00 lollipop is to enjoy it in one, large, "Whirly Pop." They were rude attitudes and dismissive, accusations are causing me to write a review about a lollipop. We frequent the movies and treat our son afterwards, but will NOT be patrons at this store any longer. read more

I like the shop as a concept. The selections of candy and soda is ginormous. But, we've experienced poor service a couple times now. Most recently from the self-claimed manager. Bluntly, she was rude and pushy and happy to interrupt while we were having a small conversation at the register. It obviously left an impression. Can't say I'll intentionally go again. read more
