I've come to this place a few times and it's always been a really cool experience! This store is so unique in the vast array of wacky types of soda's, drinks, candy's and trinkets that they sell! This place sells so many old candies, exotic soda's, joke drinks like Mustard Soda or Cookie Dough soda. The employees here are always nice as well and there's always nice and calming music playing! Such a small but fun little store to come in and just grab something fun! 100% recommend checking it out! read more

A cool store with a large variety of sodas and candies from everywhere, including vintage candies from my childhood. Not, to mention I was surprised to see Idaho's Farr's candy here too. Some flavors I noticed were grape soda, blueberry soda, and strawberry soda. I think they sell every flavor of saltwater taffy. So many flavors of taffy not to mention some of my favorites such as root beer, peanut butter, and peppermint. It reminds me of the old-fashioned penny and nickel candy stores of my youth. Believe me, if you have a kid they will adore this store. It is the perfect store to go to if looking for party favors or candy to fill a pinata this would be the store to go to. Great location, friendly staff, and tons of sweets for everyone's sweet tooth. What's not to love? read more

nice place, got a big bag of taffy here few weeks back. great selection and they taste good, only downside i find is that a handful of the taffy i purchased are rock hard.. but despite that, i'd get more when i have the chance. read more

This is always such a fun place to go! There is a ton of candy, and although people really want a bargain when they shop, they also have to realize that these are specialty candies for the most part, so you pay a little more. The barrel candy is fun and fresh as well. The soda variety is amazing too! read more

I absolutely love the weird soda flavors and candy they offer here. It's a great place for gag gifts and out of the ordinary treats. I bought a key lime pie soda and buttered popcorn taffy read more

So much candy to choose from! They have sweet treats ranging from low to high prices. The kids love it! The water taffy is my favorite. This is not just a candy store for kids, adults will love it even more! I was so amazed how they had old school candy; the candy from back in the day. If you're looking to try foreign candies- this is the place to go! The store is well organized and decorated and the cashiers are so helpful. But it's not just a candy store. There's a huge amount of flavored soda pop to choose from too. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

Rocket Fizz has many candy options, from new, unique candies to old-time goodies. You can go down memory lane with their candies and sodas. They have such a wide variety of candy and sodas. If you want a unique treat or something fun for a birthday, this is your spot for a mix of nostalgia with the new candies. I got the Sugar Daddy on a stick. They even have my Dad's favorite gum, Blackjack. The girls working are nice but not helpful when looking for an item. The store is always clean and organized. read more

Almost everything you want in a candy and soda store and I bought my old standbys and a few new flavors too. Like the kid in the candy shop and I remembered those days this was a fun place to shop. I am sure you will find a flavor of your choice and go home and enjoy your candy. Near the theater so it could be a stop before or after. read more

Get your wallet and dental insurance cards ready! Letsss gooo! My kids got Rocket Fizz gift cards for their bdays (thanks Uncle Chris LOL) and this place is AMAZING! For those of us who grew up going to the old fashioned barrels of candy store, this hits the spot! There's every flavor of soda imaginable, the coolest candy selections from traditional to downright odd! Trinkets, collectables and gifts galore! They offer a soda punch card so you can try every flavor you may want! I think we spot something new and fun and unusual every time we visit. I think you will, too! The staff is fun and friendly, the space is kept spotless and organized, and that can't be an easy task with all the grubby little fingers touching everything! And, of course, gift cards are available for those hard-to-buy-for people on your list, or maybe nieces and nephews that you want to sugar up and them send home! Great little shop and another jewel in the Legends at the Marina crown! Go for a dose of nostalgia with a side of sugar rush! read more

Locks the door 20 minutes before they close purposely ignores you why there's a line of people asking why are they closed this early!

Staff was very friendly, but not overly friendly, which can be annoying to me. Prices and selection of candy and other fun things were very good! I was shopping specifically for salt water taffy and they had a very large selection of flavors; well displayed. read more

I love all the candy but I usually go for the sodas. The staff is always so helpful. I love the decoration and that you can buy signs right off the wall. read more

Rocket Fizz "The Best Candy Store EVER!" I recently visited the new location in the Sparks area, I've only been to one of these before but this stores packed with a bunch of yummy goodness! From different varieties of Soda, candy there is no way your gonna walk out "empty handed" I sure didnt. Now like some business, we all have good things an we all have bad things but this store has hardly any flaws. The Best is the different kinds of vintage an old style candies an soda's your local retailer doesnt carry!! Plus they've got new stuff you've wished for but never able to try, give this place a shot you'll love em. The Bad is well like I said it hardly has any. The prices are steep for like custom 4pk ($7.99), 6pk (10.99) 12pks (N/A) sorry I forgot but it's pretty hefty, but when you see the uniqueness of the drinks you can see why its cost effective. So it's not really that expensive but some may see it that way, but before you pass that deal up just take a min an think... "Where and When am I gonna see it again" The owner of this location is very sweet and kind and most of all shes professional in every way, not to mention she does allow customers a FREE sample (1 piece) of Salt Water Taffy. Thanks for the Sarsaparilla it was pretty good, not as good as those Ginger candies. I would recommend this location to everyone, I mean who doesnt like candy. read more

If you like candy this is the place to go, they have gummies, hard candies, flavored sodas, decor and much more. I didn't give it a five star because they are a little bit pricey but their unique. Amazing little shop right in the heart of the Legends shopping center. Aside from the classic candies, sodas, signs and knickknacks, the owner is the sweetest lady. I love seeing a small little hometown place like this amongst the bustling that is becoming Reno/Sparks. I am also a major supporter of what she is doing, despite what our own government is trying to do to small businesses. Keep up the good work! read more

Road trip from Sacramento. Went into the store after having lunch. Super cool. Friendly employees. Got a bunch if different candy. Once we ate some it all of it was fresh. Nothing hard and stale. Tonight, we made it to the door with 1 minute to closing. They let my three daughters run around for 30 seconds to pick out a dessert. They were awesome. It's all a little cheap and probably overpriced, but this place is a gem and a great spot for kids and to reminisce about vintage candy. Last time we were here I bought the metal lunchboxes. We left and sat outside to go over our things and discovered one of the boxes had a missing hing. I took it back inside with a receipt and they traded it out but had to check with the manager and sort of balked about doing it. I just didn't let them say no, picked up a different one and showed them. Great Christmas stocking stuffers!! Just be sure you know what you're getting! read more

Nice set up! Enjoyed seeing such a variety of candy; some I haven't seen in a long time and some I've never seen. Some of the candy was way over priced by $1.49 on the Hi-Chew candy that I can get for $1 at any Oriental store that sells foods. They have lollipops, a variety of delicious taffy, a variety of fun flavored sodas, flavored marshmallow candy and much more!!! read more

Just left the store with a treat for our son for being good in the movies, only to find that the Whirly Pop was completely smashed to pieces (we noticed seconds after leaving the store when trying to open it). We went back immediately and asked for them to exchange the damaged goods only to be told no, and that we "shouldn't have left the store if we knew it was broken." Obviously we wouldn't have purchased it if we knew it was broken- the whole point of a $4.00 lollipop is to enjoy it in one, large, "Whirly Pop." They were rude attitudes and dismissive, accusations are causing me to write a review about a lollipop. We frequent the movies and treat our son afterwards, but will NOT be patrons at this store any longer. read more

I like the shop as a concept. The selections of candy and soda is ginormous. But, we've experienced poor service a couple times now. Most recently from the self-claimed manager. Bluntly, she was rude and pushy and happy to interrupt while we were having a small conversation at the register. It obviously left an impression. Can't say I'll intentionally go again. read more

The store is cool, but the owner is extremely condescending and rude. She seems nice at first, but I overheard her saying some terrible things about her employees. Plus the candy is extremely overpriced. Would rather spend my cash at a place that respects their employees. read more
