    Delicious hand made chocolates
    Paul P.

Fabulous chocolates and seasonal flavors will have you coming by regularly. The service was friendly and helpful and provided great suggestions in flavors. The niche handmade chocolates were delightful in appearance and fabulous flavors and tasty. I'll be back for gifts. The Shoppe was tastefully decorated and offered a few other items to purchase.

These are beautiful chocolates. Honestly I just want to look at them. I'm not a big candy person but chocolates are in a category of it's own. It's not candy it's kind of a subgroup of a balance diet. I found this place randomly and I was intrigued to go in because the window art. So far I have been here three times and I really enjoy it. Initially I got a box to serve my book club members. Then a congratulations box for my husband. This is a great gift for any occasion or just to treat yourself. I bought her house made fudge too. There are small boxes to big ones to choose from. And you pick your flavors from the display case. The owner is what really sealed the deal for me. She is very kind and she knows her craft. You can tell that she is passionate about what she does and it shows in the way she creates these mini masterpieces. Thank you for making reno your home and I'll be back for more beautiful chocolates

My wife brought home a war wagon filled with goodies from Tandem Chocolates tonight. Welcome Reno's newest crack dealer to the neighborhood! Our favorites so far are the Salted Chocolate Caramel, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Chili. These are very high end, beatiful chocolates hand crafted by true artisans. Pure artwork, and we annihilated a 20 piece selection in minutes!

Another Yelper had reviewed Tandem that drew my attention to their store. I had looked at other local chocolate makers in the area and chose this location to get a small package of chocolates as a small thank you to a family for them referring me to one of their friends. While I was at the store I also asked for another box for my chiropractor that had recently moved her location to Sparks, NV. The chiropractor, Dr Bri at LifeForce NV had asked me to get some business cards from her as she planned to get some chocolates for her grand opening in October 2023. Tandem's packaging is classy and well done. There is plenty of parking. They are only open Thur - Sat. Check the hours on their website.

I recently saw an article in Edible Reno/Tahoe magazine about Tandem Chocolates, and I knew I had to see for myself. WOW! It's hard to even describe how wonderful this little piece of heavenly goodness this place is. For those who haven't heard, Tandem Chocolates is a small, locally owned, gourmet chocolate shop. Everything is made on premises. Saying that these little confections are beautiful doesn't do them justice. They are exquisite works of art! Stunningly decorated and perfectly balanced , decadent flavors. The owner and chocolatier is Phyllis Robinson. She is friendly, professional, and very charming. It is obvious she is very proud of her creations. She very patiently, and enthusiastically, went through each...Bonbon? Truffle? Candy? and explained the flavor combinations and meticulously selected ingredients. I even got to taste a specially selected piece! I ended up buying 4 separate packages for lucky friends. The pricing for such treasures is very good, and since her inventory changes almost daily, I will be back for more. I highly recommend this wonderful little shop. Please, do yourselves a favor and consider Tandem Chocolates when you need something special.

Love the chocolates and the owners! They did a special order for our son's wedding that turned out great, rainbow colored hearts.

She is gluten free and was impressed at how good all the gluten free items were, and how they were able to keep an extremely similar menu even. She only had one item that was completely different than what I received (a cheesecake instead of a fruit tart). You can really tell that they work hard to ensure the gluten free menu is as amazing as the non gluten free one. Everything was absolutely delicious, including the bottomless tea. I think the peach cardamom scone was my favorite today! I was happy that they could make my tea iced as it was a really hot summer day. The server was amazing, she was attentive and friendly. The place settings were super cute and I felt transported to England. I am definitely going to come back a third time with some friends! I love that the menu changes every month so you always have something new to try! Don't forget to make reservations!

The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful as this was our 1st tea time. The shop is bright and airy but it was a a bit smaller than I expected. The tea setting was beautifully done but our table was extremely small which made teatime challenging at times. During the teas each person gets their own pot of unlimited tea. We did the Jasmine Glow tea and the Strawberry Chocolate Pu'erh. The teas were amazingly delicious! They were so good that we bought some to bring home. The bites were flavorful, just the right size, and complemented each other beautifully. You could taste the love and care that went into each one of the items. They also offer 2 speciality adult beverages each month. The Prosecco float was my favorite! This was a wonderful and delicious experience. We can't wait for next month's tea!

On top of the tour, Dorinda's donated several huge bags of pretzels for our clients and staff to enjoy. Dorinda's has also participated in our But First, Dessert Gala every year from 2022 through 2025 and is a three-time winner of our Best Dessert Award, which says a lot because the competition is always strong. Brunch is all day on Sundays however they do have a lunch menu starting at 12pm, so we ordered from each menu. The ahi nachos were great, thick pieces of tuna and a great sauce drizzled over. The Mushroom Lover's Omelette was fluffy and had a LOT of gruyere. The potatoes it came with were herbaceous and very well fried. When we arrived, every table was full, so we grabbed seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great spot to watch the bartenders create beautiful drinks, including some of their signature cocktails served in a glass purse for parties of two or more. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with groups celebrating birthdays and other special occasions. After looking over the menu, we decided on the lox crostini bites and the bruschetta. We each ordered a glass of sparkling wine. I added a chocolate rim to mine, which was fun to look at, although it didn't add much flavor. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed watching the flowing chocolate waterfall. Considering how busy the bar was, our food arrived quickly. The crostini were crisp, and both appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The only drawback was the volume of the DJ, but we knew what to expect as soon as we walked through the door. This is definitely a fun place for parties and groups looking for a lively night out. One last observation: I probably wouldn't choose this spot for a group of men. The décor and overall vibe are very much geared toward women, but the name says it all.

As a longtime Reno customer I've watched them grow from a single location into a multi-state restaurant group with six locations across Nevada and Tennessee -- and that growth is well deserved. That said I do want to share one honest observation. On top of premium pricing -- which I'm happy to pay for quality -- Perenn also charges subscribers for their Substack newsletter. For an independent bakery scraping by, that makes complete sense. For a thriving six-location restaurant group with real momentum and expansion capital, it feels like a bridge too far. The brand story and the people behind it are genuinely compelling -- that content should be how you invite customers deeper into your world, not an additional revenue line. The food earns five stars. The Substack paywall earns a raised eyebrow. Share your story freely -- you've clearly earned the audience.
