When I walked in, I was immediately offered a milk chocolate peppermint patty I then perused the options and ended with two pieces of milk chocolate almond bark to take home but not before I was offered a lemon truffle. No 'sample of the day', no military discount, and no 2lbs box of Chocolate & Variety. This store was a complete circus. The staff was too busy monkeying around in the back to do their job. I ended up paying for two 1 lbs chocolate boxes ($68) instead of the staff offering to make a 2 lbs box ($65). In essence, I was forced to pay more for already over-priced chocolates. I have never been treated so terribly at a See's location. When paying 'boutique' prices you come to expect a certain level of service/experience. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Such a cute little candy shop. I'll be honest, I don't necessarily LOVE their specialty chocolates (my grandma is from Switzerland so I am a little spoiled), but they are good enough! I do love their toffee, however. My favorite things to get at See's Candies are the vanilla and chocolate lollipops. They aren't like traditional lollipops, but they remind me of hardened pudding. They are so tasty! But watch out...your tastebuds sometimes get caught in the mini bubbles as you're sucking on them, and it hurts very badly. My experience today was amazing. I was greeted promptly and politely, and I only spent $2.06 on two lollipops, but the employee was SO kind and gave me 2 butterscotch lollipops for free (on top of the free samples) !! About an hour later, I went back in with my mom and aunt, and the woman offered me ANOTHER free sample. Even though I had gotten free samples earlier and had only spent two dollars, she was kind enough to offer me another sample when I went back in. I would always choose an ice cream cone over candies, but See's offers such a fun experience and provides great customer service. read more

This is the location I frequent most often, but it does not really matter what store you go to, as See's has their brand down pat. The employees are always women (what is that about?), they always promptly offer a free chocolate, and though some are cheerier than others are, everyone is friendly enough. They do get BUSY at holidays, but just plan ahead if you're visiting at that time, otherwise, there is very rarely a wait. I recently stopped here, and when I entered, was informed their credit card machine was down, and they could only accept cash or check. Of course, I didn't have either, but they kindly and apologetically gave me a sample anyways. I returned a few days later (when you've got a craving what else can ya do?!) and grabbed their seasonal special, the Black Forest Truffle, and it was delicious! Get you some of them before they are gone. Really most of their truffles, specifically the dark chocolate ones, are quite good. My "must get" favorites are blueberry and raspberry truffles, dark Scotchmallows, dark nougat, dark Cocoanut, dark toffee, dark Pecan Buds, and any of the dark chocolate covered nuts. They have great fudge too! The Bordeaux is fun and different, of course you can't go wrong with traditional chocolate, and surprisingly, I really enjoy their vanilla! At Christmastime they offer a one-pound assortment of all three - get it! I used to love See's, in fact, when I lived across the country, I had a nightmare that I visited Utah and forgot to go to See's to buy my usual 2+ pound box. Lately, I don't adore it quite as much (they are a little too sweet and sometimes use artificial flavors), but still...See's is dependably good, prices are very reasonable, and here in Utah you can find 'em everywhere! read more

Hurrah! I love that See's is open again and back to serving up hand curated boxes of their wonderful deliciousness. Due to covid, we missed our annual Easter, Mother's Day + Father's Day boxes of chocolates. Sooo my husband and I both indulged in getting ourselves two 1 lb. boxes for our anniversary. (Twist my arm!) The woman who helped us was very pleasant and kind. After we left, I saw that she tossed some wrapped sample chocolates into our bag. Absolutely fantastic candy. I'm proudly ashamed to say that in two days time I have polished off an entire pound of See's chocolates. I will be back!! read more

These guys have amazing chocolates. I love the chocolate covered almonds, scotch mallows and rocky road. They do fun tins and boxes for holidays. Normally they do refills cheaper for boxes. During covid they are not. My wife loves the chocolate covered raisins. I hate them because raisins are poisonous chocolate chip imposters that ruin life with their insidious cookie deceptions. They have Chocolate cigars if your into that kind of thing. The only problem is that their boxes are always somehow too small now matter which size you order. read more

This is a small location off 7200s and 7th east. They only let 6 people at a time. The have the store sectioned off the try and get people in and out safely. We typically get the toffees and turtles. I like to choose my favorite chocolates and not get one I done care for. They offer pick you own, or pre made selections if you in a hurry. The service is decent, but not really you remember. I ordered this year online to have my Christmas treats delivered to avoid crowds in store. The chocolate is delicious as always, this is a treasured family tradition for special occasions and I love love love the truffles and lollipops. 4 stars is because I had a delivery issue and emailed them and never received a response. Luckily I was able to get the issue sorted on my own but I'm not impressed with zero response from them. I reached out to them 12/8 and as of today still have not been contacted. With this being said, the candy is amazing so go in store and get yourself a treat. They also have super cute holiday packaging for presents, everyone loves chocolate! #supportlocal read more

I Love See's! But not just See's - this location. The workers here are as amazing as they come! Just before Christmas, I pulled into the parking lot at about 8:57pm, knowing the store closed at 9, but also knowing I was leaving for Ohio the next day. My father's favorite treats were waiting for me to steal them away on a plane and straight to his mouth. I walked up to the door....locked...closed! I pouted. I went back to my car and looked up the store number in my phone and my heart skipped a beat as I watched a nice, older lady answer the phone. I explained my situation to her and you know what? They unlocked the doors just for me and let me buy my father's candies! What kind of a place does that for their customers?!? I also love the free chocolate every time you visit. Sometimes I'll buy a box of treats to keep in my fridge and nibble on over a few weeks. Every time my family comes from Ohio, they want See's candy. Most gourmet chocolates to not suit my palette...they taste too...froo-froo-y for me. But I love See's. If I could eat only one brand of chocolate for the rest of my life, it would be See's...and from this location. Thank you, See's Candy! read more

I know that See's is not the highest quality chocolate but for the price it cannot be beat. I have gotten to be picky about my chocolate and a snickers bar just doesn't do it when you need a little pick me up. And it gets expensive if you are buying really nice chocolate. But you can go to See's and get a little bag with a few and it's not going to totally break you. I don't like fruit filled chocolates but the strawberry and raspberry creams here are really good. And the lemon truffle is so smooth and tart. My favorite is the coconut cream, at no other chocolate store have I found one that is so creamy. read more

This is my first negative review of a company that has a really great product and normally excellent customer service. I was picking up food at the restaurant next door and while I was waiting for my food got in line at approximately 8:50 with a prepackaged box of chocolates. After waiting nearly 10 minutes I told the employee that I was stepping next door to pick up my food but would be right back and set my box down on the counter. I returned within a few minutes and got back in line that hadn't moved since I left. By the time it was my turn it was approximately 9:10. The employee decided she needed to tell me that I had come into the store after close and I let her know that I had actually been waiting from before but had returned to the store after grabbing food next door but she acted as though that wasn't true. By the way the door was unlocked and the Open sign was illuminated. She asked if she could help me almost as an afterthought but I refused her service at that point. I have long loved Sees and their products and their customer service but feel like instead of just helping me was made to feel like I didn't deserve to buy their products because it was after closing time. read more

I appreciate that the poster stop by late and was pleased with the customer service. On Sunday June 22nd I stopped in just before 5 not realizing it was that late there were 2 customers ahead of me. They were given the order and took a pause and a man who was on duty said let's roll let's roll n I spoke up and sad I didn't realize it was that late. Then it said well what you don't realize we have a lot of paperwork to do. I thought this was appalling customer service you should never ever say something like that to a customer. The customer doesn't care about paperwork they care about customer service.. I did stay in and stay well we're just customers and he replied oh don't say it like that.
