It was my first time doing pottery and I had a great time. Murjoni was a pleasant and helpful instructor. There were 2 of us in the 11A class and we were able to make 2-3 pieces. The process was easy and fun. The parking area is small and tight on the right side of the building. Overall I would come again.

For the new year I told myself I wanted to learn a new skill and low and behold the Wheel & Whisk workshop at Seeing Green Studio populated on Instagram. Combining both the basics of matcha and crafting your own matcha, along with throwing some clay for your very own matcha bowl (a chawan). The best of both worlds since I'm a matcha lover and a lover of all things art. Seeing Green Studio is tucked in the basement of another business, and honestly, I would've missed the location if another attendee wasn't coming to the workshop at the same time. We started off the workshop with learning about matcha and how to make the perfect pour of the delicate tea. We crafted our own iced matcha latte and headed over to the studio to get started on wheeling our matcha bowls. Marra, our instructor, was amazing and so helpful with every step. She thoroughly explained and showed us the techniques we needed to mold our bowls. She was also very hands on giving us all one-on-one attention to help. It was such a great experience. Seeing Green Studio offers different types of classes and workshops for all levels of experience. Whether you want to take a wheel throwing session to get comfortable and learn about clay work or you want to attend one of their classes, it's a definite must try.

A perfect date spot!…read more My husband and I visited The Pottery Stop for the first time today and had a great time! We texted beforehand to see if they had availability for potter painting today and made a reservation. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted, and a staff member explained the process. We got to pick out a piece to paint and there were a great variety of options! Pieces in different shapes and sizes from animals to more traditional dish ware and even fun holiday options. Each piece has a price listed on it as well which was nice to know before selecting an option. We picked matching cats to paint. We had a table reserved with our name on it and got some more directions once seated about tips on painting. The staff again was super friendly and helpful! After we got the intro, we painted away. There were a variety of tools, colors and staff helped us with any questions. Once we were done, we brought our pieces to the front and paid. You get your pieces back 1 week after your visit, and we can't wait to see how ours turned out!
