Took a one-day pottery class with Rez and absolutely loved it. He's not just the owner but also an amazing artist, and such a patient, thoughtful teacher. The class was 2.5 hours long, which is plenty of time to make 2 to 3 pieces. Rez guided us through each step with clear instructions and help when we needed it. The whole experience felt really calming and grounding, like a little reset for the soul. I had such a good time and can't wait to go back to paint my pieces. If you're looking for something slow, creative, and meaningful, this class is such a gem.

This is my second time going to Manna Pottery. Not only is the environment, the staff, the owner, and items we can paint awesome, but the overall customer service is absolutely delightful. I sat in the shop for about two hours painting my Koi fish (as shown below). My wife motivated me to do a big piece. I'm happy I did. It's sitting nicely on my shelf for people to look at when they come in. I'll tell them I bought it off Pottery Barn to get their reactions. I highly recommend couples, families, singles or group events to visit and let your imagination flow! You won't regret it. If this is all new to you, ask the owner or the knowledgeable staff for advice and tips. I look forward to my next visit. I hope the owner has something bigger for me to paint. I hope this review helps the business grow. Thank you!

Held a staff outing here and it was a great time. The staff are wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience with the incredible instructor, Rezgar. His passion for his art shines through in every moment. He is not only highly talented but also incredibly patient with his students. Rezgar has a unique ability to make you connect with the pieces you're working on, helping you feel, sense, and love them as if they have a life of their own. These classes are perfect for families couples, and kids. Highly recommended

    Mugs

The cutest little shop to paint and throw pottery. Upon entry we were greeted by the studio owner who is very friendly and welcoming. There was nobody else in the studio at the time so he let us connect to the speakers and play our own music. Needless to say we felt very at home. There is no time limit to complete your pieces so we f'd around and stayed for about 2 1/2 hours We had a great time. The studio is laid out well so it feels very spacious. They have lots of brushes and a wide variety of paint colors. They also have a lots of different pre-made pottery pieces to pick from. We went simple and painted some mugs that we now use every day. If you can't tell (i'm sure you can tell but jic) one of the mugs is inspired by a watermelon, the other a canteloupe. already looking forward to going back PS a few days a week, they have live music! The guitarist who came was very talented.

My family and I came here for my birthday, and we had the BEST time. Rezgar is the owner, and he is very kind. The shop is very clean and organized. Kahlil was one of the employees and he gave us the rundown on how everything worked. He answered any questions we had, was very attentive, and constantly changed out our paint water. The studio is only $12! What a great price! That covers the time you are there, paints, and I assume the firing and glazing they do for your final pieces. All the items available to paint range between $3 to about $115, and they have a wide variety of options to choose from! Salt and pepper shakers, plates, cups, mugs, holiday ornaments, and so much more. I highly recommend this place. It's where I plan on getting most birthday and Christmas presents from now on - cute, personalized, and functional!

The very nice staff squeezed us in at a table in the back. After we sat, we had the difficult problem of picking what to paint! They do a bunch of stuff here- mosaics, sign painting, and of course pottery. They have tons and tons of items! We wanted to paint practical things but there are so many cute options- salt and pepper shakers, a disco ball cookie jar, Pokémon planters! But we did pick plates and bowls that we knew we would use frequently. Once we picked out what to paint, the staff explained the basics to us. We asked them for help a few times with different techniques, and their guidance made a huge difference! They can show you how to use stamps, silkscreens, and other techniques. They were super kind and patient too, even on such a busy day. Our results were really great! We'll be happy to pick them up in a week when they're ready. One last note- they offer free popcorn while you paint!

There were prizes being given out each hour to help celebrate the 22nd anniversary. We had been there for about 20 minutes and no one came by to give us a raffle ticket. So, I went up to ask about it and I was told they would be over soon. Well, they never made it over and the first round of prizes went by with my granddaughters not having their tickets in the basket. We did get in the second raffle drawing, but I was disappointed with the way it was handled. The Amazing Art Studio still has the best ceramics pieces to choose from. They also have a wide variety of paints to choose from. Unfortunately, it was so crowded and not all of the paint colors were available. Luckily, through the kindness of others, tables shared paints. There was also a little mix up with my reservation. I called and asked for an earlier time, since the girl's weren't in school that day. The owner told me to send her an email and she would take care of it. When, we got there she had not changed the time and I had to share with her the email I sent. They did work us in at a table in the studio. I had put a $30 dollar deposit for the event. We have been to The Amazing Art Studio about 9 times. We always had great service. The paint selection has always been plentiful. I just think they were not prepared for the amount of people at this special event. I did deduct one star for the reasons stated above. We will definitely go back and work on other ceramics pieces. I may have second thoughts about attending special events. The art pieces themselves came out great. My granddaughter's did such a great job and they enjoy it so very much.

It was trippy with the black lights and projections on the wall of various etherial scenes. We all dressed up in the protective suit, googles and boots. The kids were a little small for the suits, but they managed to make it work! Once inside, you can throw paint all over, stomp on the artwork with your feet (a personal favorite of my kids), and twist the painting around to have the colors spread in all directions. We were joined by a staffer the entire time who took a few pictures along with a cute video. I recommend having the staffer snap photos with your own iPhone as mine came out a little better. But I did enjoy the video. At the end of the experience, they pack up the painting in gigantic pizza boxes. The paint is expected to dry in 24-48 hours, though ours took a much longer. I recommend putting the paintings outside on a dry day in the sun to help move that along. Granted ours had a lot of paint on it, but even after 48 hours it was super wet. This is a blast. And it's located in a classic 1990s mall. The kids LOVED this mall, complete with a Spencers gift store, bowling alley and reptile interactive experience. In fact, we'll probably come back here again once the winter sets in since there are so many things here to do with kids inside.

The studio itself is cute with tons of display pieces and splatter paint artwork for you to look at that gets you in the mood to paint! The splatter paint room had really sticky floors which kept ripping my painting boots off. The experience: The splatter paint experience itself was fun! Before heading in, you put on a big thin white suit with a hood, rubber gloves, rubber booties, and plastic glasses. Make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting stained because the clothing they give you doesn't work well to protect your clothes. We had to spend a lot of the time cleaning up in the bathroom afterwards which definitely should have been avoided by the establishment. You get about 6 bottles of primary colored paint, a paintbrush, and little cups to mix the colors. However, you can't easily splatter the colors you mix because the paint isn't in bottles at that point. Only one paintbrush was provided with no water so we couldn't reuse the paintbrush. You have an hour to do it but you really only need about 20 minutes. They give you a big box to easily take your painting home in. The service: Terrible. We walked in and no staff member approached or acknowledged us until we said something. The first girl we interacted with was rude and impatient with us. The main guy we worked with explained all the rules and how tos in a very confusing manner and he also spoke really low which was frustrating. Our group of young women couldn't hear most of what he said and he didn't clarify well. Overall, I had fun splattering paint with my friends and will be hanging what I made but I don't ever plan on coming back here and wouldn't recommend it.

I was looking for the item when an employee came to pull the item and as it wasn't there she cancelled my order. I then went to the front and talked to a different employee who looked up the item to see if it was available elsewhere local to me. It was but instead of calling them (over Christmas) I ordered the item then and there. However I couldn't add the coupon as it was no longer offered to me (or back in my account) since they had just cancelled the order. The employee told me that when I went to pick up the order I could ask them if they could apply the discount I should have got as there was a way to do that and they would do it for me at their store if that was the case. When I got to the other store (the next day) to pick up my order I asked to speak to a manager. She came and didn't even acknowledge me as waiting before helping an employee who was on a register first. A bad start. When she came to me I told her the story and she said we don't do adjustments and then proceeded to tell what what a long process it would be for them to apply the coupon I didn't get. She said is it really worth the effort for the amount I was going to get back. I calmly replied 'apparently it isn't to you'. And she didn't reply!! I left. I will not shop in that store again. I went back to the first store to tell them the story and they apologized more than once for the other stores behavior. They told me that the company gives discounts to teachers etc. which can be a lot less than the money I was getting off with the coupon.
