The environment that we are using is private and quiet, yet right next to the entrance and the conference room. The receptionist is very friendly and personable and beyond helpful. I've even chatted with a few of the other people with the other businesses in the suite and it's a very laid back environment (albeit some people are in suits and some are in jeans and hoodies) that works well for many businesses and walks of life. From what I understand, the rates are fair and the resources available are pretty abundant. I would recommend this sort of office environment for anyone who is either starting off or setting up an office in a new location. Ashburn is relatively "out there" in NOVA, but if you have a reason to be out here, this is a great place to be. I can actually see the development going on across the street at Loudon One, which probably means that traffic is only going to get more desirable on Route 7 (sarcasm...traffic is HORRENDOUS during either rush hour).

During the sales process, Gretchen was highly responsive and assured me that she would be available throughout my six-month contract if I ever needed assistance. Unfortunately, that level of responsiveness disappeared the moment I became a client. Just six weeks into my contract at Spaces Reston Metro Plaza, I was informed that the entire location was shutting down and that I had only one week's notice to vacate. It is extremely difficult to believe that management had no knowledge of the closure when they were actively signing new members to six-month agreements. The entire experience was a bait-and-switch. The move-out process was even worse. Kaitlyn Whitaker became my primary point of contact, and despite an email chain that stretched well over twenty messages, she repeatedly failed to answer basic questions. Kaitlyn tried to randomly assign me to an office space that I had never seen before and after asking to tour other Spaces, repeatedly told me there was little to no space in any other building. Her responses were often vague, incomplete, or completely unrelated to what I had asked. In one particularly frustrating exchange, Kaitlyn replied that she would "love to provide the requested information" but did not have access to her computer at that moment. Kaitlyn never the sent the information and I was forced to follow up multiple times without receiving meaningful answers. Communication problems extended beyond email. Kaitlyn assured me that she could arrange tours at other Spaces locations. After I requested a tour days in advance and received confirmation of the date and time, I arrived to find that the staff had no idea I was coming. It was a complete waste of time and demonstrated a shocking lack of coordination. After transferring to Spaces at The Boro, it took more than three weeks for Kaitlyn to transfer my account to their system. During that time, I had no key fob, meaning I could not access the building on weekends, and I had no office key, requiring someone else to let me in every time I arrived. This problem was only resolved after my parents threatened to sue. And all the while, they expected their monthly rent to be payed. For a company that markets itself as a professional workspace solution, this level of disorganization is unacceptable. I joined Spaces because I expected convenience, professionalism, and reliability. Instead, I experienced poor communication, broken commitments, administrative chaos, and unnecessary stress. I would not recommend this location--or this company--to anyone.

We terminated our lease at the end of April and we requested our security deposit be refunded. It took several weeks working with numerous groups within Regis to figure out how to access the portal to make that request. Once I submit the request, I was told it would take four weeks, which seemed ridiculous. It's now been six weeks and we still haven't received our deposit. We keep being told it's a priority for their finance team, but how difficult can it be to issue a wire transfer? They are holding our money hostage.

Per month that give me access to all of their office buildings around the entire metro area AND their online space booking system if I want to make sure to have a certain meeting space or office but with the card I can pop in at any office and use business lounge or executive cafés that have lounge type seating or table/bar seating, free wifi, free copies & printing, free coffee, spring water....it's unbelievably nice! And totally productive time spent there, everything & anything I needed to work at my fingertips; they even had lunch delivered right to my Day Office! TL;DR: Outdated offices with not much support…read more This review is for the meeting facilities only; which were not thought out logistically. Each of the meeting rooms are outdated, with really old telephones that give government phones a run for the money. Not to mention, some of the telephone cords aren't long enough to make it to the middle of the conference room table, requiring some conference room attendees to scream at the phone, or huddle around the phone. Also, each room is supposed to have a projector, but doesn't always have one. Each room is also supposed to have an extension cord for the projector, but that isn't always there either. None of the conference rooms I've been to on the ground floor have projector screens, requiring projection against the wall, with some rooms not really having any good places to do so, not the necessary lighting to turn off to see the projection properly. There are also very limited number of cords all over the rooms. The middle of the tables have holes where there should be plugs, but are instead receptacles for trash and has been there for who knows how long. Gross. There aren't any additional extension cords unless asked, and the tables are so far away from the walls, most regular computer and projector cables can reach without extension cords. Highlight is the kitchen, which has a purified water system and Flavia coffee. The coffee isn't that great, but better than nothing when you need that kick.

I was quoted a price over the phone for a small office, but when it came time to sign the contract, there were some additional charges and a $1200 deposit that no one bothered to mention. I had to sign a three month contract and probably didn't spend 15 days in the office during that time. Upon departure, i was sent an invoice for $533 for "Office Restoration" and "Continuity of Service" -- bogus, bogus charges that were never mentioned in the original contract and Regus tells me they will not reimburse my $1200 deposit until i pay this additional invoice. The office space is nice, but the business practices of this company are completely dishonorable!!!
