Outside of the class, the storefront is so nice and features beautiful woodwork, and custom tumblers, signs and local art/goods. This is such an intentionally designed spot and I would love to do another workshop here!

When they open the physical space back up, you should quickly reserve a workshop to paint a wood sign. I had my bestie join me on my birthday and had such a great experience, wonderful instructors, quality materials, friendly staff and a beautiful store to craft in. Loved my finished product. I recently saw that they were offering a 1 hour online workshop with a guest speaker/ coach. The topic was about rest not being a luxury. With everything going on today, it was timely and on point. The coach dropped some gems during the first half, we were then able to ask questions via chat. After that, we started painting our signs with live follow the leader step by step instructions. The sign came in a nicely prepared box wrapped in lovely paper and was pre-stained. Also included were pots of paints of your chosen colors, a stencil transfer, paint brush, wooden flowers, small sponges for dabbing the paint on, and two recipes (face mask and a cocktail). The class was well moderated. The owner was streaming live from her home workshop with a really cool backdrop. This was well put together!!! My end product was amazing! They learned a lot and it was very hands-on, which is extremely helpful for keeping the girls fully engaged. They were able to customize their own soap scents as well as select a few molds for their products. The girls had a great experience and will definitely come back.

By far, Party on the Avenue is the most inviting and memorable. I have been to POTA twice and both times, have walked away feeling satisfied. A couple of things you should know: 1. The party is upstairs - so if you walk in and no one greets ya... it's because who actually parties on the main floor? 2. The paints provided are legitimate paints. They don't run and it's not the cheap paints you get from these overpriced paint nites. 3. The canvas is flat, which is nice... especially if you want to frame them after you've finished your masterpiece. 4. Amy is so energetic and helpful. She always has a big smile and music playing, so she can dance her way around the paintings. 5. You can bring your own booze. SOLID. 6. These "parties" will last you a solid 3-4 hours, because you're usually relaxing and enjoying your time but you're also painting a more difficult photo usually. 7. The calendar on the POTA site let's you know the "event" days. My favorite, obviously is Paint your Pet night. Amy drafts up a pencil sketch or your pet and you paint it... really is an awesome experience! So who's ready to paint, hon?

Tim was out instructor for the Matcha No Michi Experience. He was very thorough, patient, and knowledgeable! Him and the rest of the Seeing Green team made the event so much fun! Quite a few of us were first timers but we all ended up with successful pieces thanks to the team! It takes a few weeks to get them back but they also offer the option of having it shipped to you. They have various pieces to purchase and I was so smitten with my chawan that I ended up buying it from the instructor since it was his piece! I have told my friends about the time I had here and I can't wait to return with them! I arrived intimidated but left feeling proud of my work! Such a great experience! Parking is very limited in their lot but street psrking is available. They are located to the right side of the building connected to the antique shop.

We did the couples private lesson that lasted 2 hours. At first I felt two hours was way too long but I was wrong. Mia made the class so fun and entertaining that time flew. Mia was an amazing instructor. From her music taste to jokes and wonderful ability to teach I have no complaints. We had enough time to work on more than one piece. The first piece being the most guided through and the following pieces allowed us to apply our new skills and get more creative. Mia was as hands on as we needed her to be and able to give advice to guide us through our visions. It does take about 6 weeks to get your finished pieces back but it gives us something to look forward to. They offer both shipping and pick up which is very convenient!

This place was SUPER DOPE! I am so upset that I did not know about this place before. I life less…read morethan five minutes away. I first discovered this place because my son goes to the Upton Boxing Center less than a mile away. I was invited to come by one of my friends. Her Sister Megan Lewis had her artwork featured for a month. Upon arrival the Customer Service was amazing. They had snacks and stuff. I got a chance to meet the artist and view the artwork. One of the hosts encouraged me to go upstairs where they were making plates in honor of Sibby Grant. So I received a quick history lesson while I was there. Libby Grant wrote a letter to her slave owner Confederate POW John Hanson Thomas. They had the actual letter which was really impressive considering she was a slave and she could really write. So we made plates, which was going on a display at the Walters Art Museum Gallery. They also have classes daily at night from 5-8. I am so excited about this hidden gem. They will see be back really soon.

Instructions were communicated and demonstrated clearly. Our instructors Sarah and Mack were amazing! They offer a wide range of textured items to bring your creation to life! Additionally they have many glazes to choose from! They have individual and group class options if you're interested. I'd definitely book again!
