A perfect date spot!…read more My husband and I visited The Pottery Stop for the first time today and had a great time! We texted beforehand to see if they had availability for potter painting today and made a reservation. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted, and a staff member explained the process. We got to pick out a piece to paint and there were a great variety of options! Pieces in different shapes and sizes from animals to more traditional dish ware and even fun holiday options. Each piece has a price listed on it as well which was nice to know before selecting an option. We picked matching cats to paint. We had a table reserved with our name on it and got some more directions once seated about tips on painting. The staff again was super friendly and helpful! After we got the intro, we painted away. There were a variety of tools, colors and staff helped us with any questions. Once we were done, we brought our pieces to the front and paid. You get your pieces back 1 week after your visit, and we can't wait to see how ours turned out!

The place setting is put out for you (palette tile, sponge, water) and you get to choose the brushes and paint colors that you'd like to use. There are shelves with various types of items you can paint (bowls, cups, pencil holders, figurines, vases, and the list goes on). There are also examples provided on the shelves to provide you with inspiration. Typically, you pick up the item within a week.
