I frequent this establishment a couple of times a week. I can't say enough good things about out it. The live music is always keeping me coming back. The food is excellent , although when it's busy some things get lost in the shuffle between the 3 kitchens and your table. But, if you let a manager know, they make it right every time. That's the best part about the place is the employees, always friendly, energetic and willing to please. I'd like to point out one thing I read in another review. The reviewer is Al from Minnesota. He particularly called out one of the bartenders, Laszlo, which read as petty and personal, and most of his comments were simply not true. Laszlo is loved by several people, all the customers I know , my self included, and many of his co-workers. I hope this is read by someone in management as a means to ignore a petty and untrue review. Seed to Table is a new 75,000 sq. ft. farmer's market-inspired store in North Naples. It's journey began in June 2014 when Oakes Farms purchased a former Albertsons supermarket and its 8-acre property. What happened next was a five year odyssey. The store was initially supposed to open way back in 2015 and after several delays it finally opened in December of 2019 only to be hit with the effects of the corona virus 3 months later. I was out hiking around Naples and spotted this store. The arch attracted my eye and the parking lot was full of cars even in this economic environment. I had to check out what was going on. I didn't take very long after stepping foot in the store that my mind was blown. I know you are thinking it is just another supermarket, how great could it be? Trust me it is that amazing. Read on. The attention to detail is everywhere you look. The seed to table in the name means that everything is made on site, not from a mix. There are four places to purchase alcoholic beverages in the store. The shopping cart has drink holders for your wine and beer! There are 120 different types of fruits and vegetables, some picked only hours earlier in the produce department and the displays are immaculate with not one leaf out of place. As you shop around the perimeter of the store you make your way through stations. There is a a butcher shop with dry aged beef and they will cook your steak for you. The fish market has a six hundred gallon lobster tank and a live tilapia and live shrimp tank built into the wall behind it. There are several restaurants and food kiosks for hot and cold sandwiches, tacos, pizza, pasta, and one for vegans. The full service bakery offers some of the most incredible pastries you have ever laid eyes on and fresh baked breads. other sections include the "let us cut it " salad station, an ice cream shop, hand made candy, juice & smoothie bar, 2 story wine selection, large deli and cheese section, fresh roasted coffee, sushi bar, salsa and guacamole bar, all-organic section, restaurant quality ready-made meals, a farm playground for the kids, book store, vitamins and bath goods, and a fresh garden center with plants/herbs/flowers. The sales floor below is overlooked by a mezzanine with a sports bar and casual dining area. The store has 600 employees to keep everything in tip top shape. After visiting I can't help but think that if Disney World made a supermarket it would look like this. I was so impressed and this store wasn't even operating at full throttle. Due to the virus the bars were closed, there were no samples offered, and restaurant food was take out only. Even so this store made me so happy. Around every corner was a surprise and delightful discovery. I ordered a Margherita pizza that was the best I had ever eaten. The ingredients were so fresh and flavorful and it was perfectly fired in a pizza oven. I couldn't resist picking up a pineapple salsa with a wall of corn chips thoughtfully placed adjacent to the dips. I also grabbed some of their ruby gem fresh cut watermelon. I topped off lunch with a slice of their amazing coconut pie. I wish I had brought a cooler bag because I would have been scooping up their prepared dinners. If there is a downside to this food paradise it is that their prices are expensive although they do have some specials. I only purchased a few items and everything was top quality. Wait staff in the upper restaurant area was rude (most likely because I am a monitory) , and took over 40 minutes for my mom's burger to arrive. Great ambiance, greatest people, the employees are friendly and seem happy, the layout is incredible with a wine bar, beer bar, full service bar. A lot of choices for lunch or dinner. Pizza is good. Really disappointed in business practices. Went here at the high recommendation of my boyfriend, as he has only had really positive experiences in the past. It was a busy Saturday night, we expected to wait. We ordered and walked around for a while. We were told it would take 45 minutes to prepare our food. After about 30 minutes of walking around we found a shared table, waited about another 40 minutes from sitting until our food was ready, so over an hour from ordering. When the food arrived, my steak was over cooked, but we had waited for over an hour, so I was going to eat. While eating we watched as the Food and Beverage manager, Artie continued to move person after person or group from a table marked reserved, their website states no reservations. We laughed about it until Artie began watching us, and moving reserved signs to other tables. It was clear we were in the way. Artie waited until we had finished our food and then asked us if we wanted to move from a front table to the back of the upstairs bar area because his owner/general manager was there. We asked about the reservation policy and he laughed and stated it was for the GM. When we stated we didn't want to move, the GM asked if we wanted to sit with him and I his guests, we did not. We wanted to be treated as paying customers, and although we had planned to buy other items after eating, we left. The concept is great, well developed and there is a lot of staff. Died and went to heaven. The food selection is amenable to any palate: Mexican, vegan, meat lover, or pizza aficionado....I decided on a taco salad with beef instead of chicken....YUM! Could barely put my fork down. Had a couple of Bromosas to boot, and it was a wonderful, refreshing tangerine IPA. This place is clean, with plenty of staff, heaps of seating and an incredible food and liquor department. There are also tons of TVs which would make for great game day viewing. Do yourself a favor and get yourself the best Lemon Meringue Pie in a very long geographical area. Tip: Get the whole pie in the bakery for $19.00 instead of the single one for about $7.00. You will thank me later or hate me because it is addictive and pure awesomeness. After tasting the small version on our way to our vacation week in Siesta Key, on the way back to Miami we had to stop and get the full pie. It was hard not to eat the whole thing on the same day. I also got a key lime pie from the aisle that was very good but the lemon meringue just shamed it. While walking the aisle I grabbed couple of Dutch chocolate wine bottles that I haven't tried yet but hey they looked yummy. This place does a good job promoting nice quality and appealing food. I don't care about their political beliefs. This is a great store. They have a lot of stuff crammed into that building and I think the prices are reasonable. It does get noisy especially when they have live music and it's very crowded during peak hours but I try to go at night after supper time and find it's easy to get around. I've eaten in the food court and they have in my opinion the best breakfast I've ever had. Smashed avocado toast with salmon and poached eggs. I had their tacos and they were ok but definitely worth a try. The flowers out front are awesome and cheaper than the smaller ones you buy at the big box stores. My only complaint is the deli department which has wonderful food is like most delis. One person working and three others giving you dirty looks. I'm courteous to them so maybe they just don't like the looks of me...who knows? Overall one of my favorites in town. read more

This store is amazing! Combine Whole Foods (without the pretentiousness) and Trader Joe's (with way more choices) and you've got Seed to Table. The smoothie bar, alone, is overwhelming with choices. It's attached to the wine and beer bar. The ready made food is outstanding! The home made breads and desserts- holy cow!! The produce section is bursting with color and freshness. I love this place and always stop by for food while in the area. I've tried most food offerings. One of my favorites is picking out a steak and having it cooked there. Many other offerings are excellent: pizza, lobster roll, gyro, poke bowl. The sushi is so so, and the roll pieces are a little too large in diameter for my liking, but it's still good (just not excellent). The grocery store aspect is nice and the beer/wine area is amazing. I have been here twice. I first would like to mention I have only sampled their grocery section. I have not as yet tried their food court. If you are a Whole Foods type of person this is your new goto place. Since Amazon purchased Whole Foods they are in decline and this is a great replacement for it. If you are a fresh produce person this again is your new goto place. I don't think you will ever see this variety of fresh vegetables and and fruits anywhere else. If you are a high end meat lover again this is your place. Beef prices depending on quality will go from $10 a pound to $40 a pound. On my last visit Mrs. K. and I wanted a roasting chicken. We saw none in the displays and went to the "butcher". Here is where it got interesting. He never heard of a roasting chicken. A helpful young man told us the whole prepared chicken was just over there. No don't want a roasted chicken I want a roasting chicken. The "butcher" went back and asked if they had any and someone in the back said no. He did offer to sell us some beef. Per the owner Alfie Oakes this is a destination not just a grocery store. He is 100 percent correct on that statement. I look at Seed to Table as an "event" store. If you want the finest vegetables and fruits for you party this is your place. You can grab a bite to eat from the array of food businesses looked in the supermarket and than sit and eat. They have a ladies night on Wednesday drinks and little apps for free from 8-10! Oh My!! Everything you have ever found in a grocery store times 100!!! I have never seen better produce and that was just walking in the front door. If you have never been here before, and you want to see and enjoy everything, you should plan on spending an hour or more. We were there a good hour and I can say we barely had time to check things out. There is a food station for every kind of appetite, there was pasta, sushi, taco, bread, the largest wine selection I have seen in a grocery store, hops and coffee to name a few. You can pick up complete meals for 2, already bagged and ready to go or choose from a number of ready made meals. You can purchase a beverage (including alcoholic) and carry it with you while you shop. You can purchase food at any food station and sit down to eat. There are dining tables spread throughout the store for your convenience. I was able to compare produce prices to my most common purchases, and although their produce was a lot better than what I buy at our local store, the price was the same or just a little higher. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because parking is horrible. They have a large parking lot, but obviously not large enough. There were cars parked everywhere. Down the side of the driveway, at the ends of every isle- making it very tricky for other cars to either drive past or get out of their parking space. I was dropped off at the door and waited a good 10 minutes for him to find a parking space. Maybe you should try Not to go on a Saturday! read more

The food selection..the live Bands But what makes me keep coming back on a regular basis, is the customer service and the personalities of the staff. The bartenders are excellent. "Disney world for foodies" the gentleman who wrote that below was 100% accurate. Oakes really put their all into this location. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with the coffee section (free cup of coffee btw). They have a ridiculous state of the art pastry chef who makes all these delicious pastries. Then you have a candy section for kids (adults too ;). Everything is sold by the pound I believe it was $8.99 a pound for candy. They have 2 bars where you can sit and have beer on tap (sayyy what!!!!). The seafood area has a live fish tank - pretty amazing stuff. They also have a sushi bar, sandwich and deli, pizza, and the list goes on. There is so much fresh produce! It's insane. They have a medicinal section, and even sell pure CBD oil. According to my daughter I'm not allowed to shop anywhere else! One of the biggest perks for me is the fact that they have a drop off area for kids to play while you shop in PEACE. My kiddo loved it. Apparently it's over 3 stories tall and has an area with interactive features and even musical instruments! Oakes is one of those places that you can read about, but you don't understand the level of awesome this location is until you visit it for yourself. Apparently this gigantic grocery store opened about a month ago. The isles are not very wide to get the grocery carts through and the whole store is angled. There are probably 6 or 7 walk up counters to order food. Also a bar area downstairs and upstairs is more seating and another bar. Hubby and I shared a tuna sandwich and it was okay. This review is to get Seed to Tables attention. Alfie has an amazing business and we have brought every visitor to experience Seed to Table. We have been supportive of Alfie 40 10+ years. However, why does he now tolerate bad employees? Specifically, Mr Rude, Laszlo? All of the other bartenders hate working with him because his rudeness hurts their tips. I do not think training can get the abrasiveness out of Laszlo. He is simply not equipped to be nice. He has been rude to us and we have seen him be rude to others. Again, we have spoken to many co-workers of his that do not understand why Alfie still employes him? It is a mystery, but Alfie should pay attention to this and he should inquire from Laszlo's co-workers what they think. Move over fresh market, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Luckys, sprouts, wegmans, and every other gourmet grocer in the country... seed to table has Finally arrived and it is a unique culinary experience destined to become the future of grocery shopping/culinary expeditions in America. What I love most about this place is the attention to detail. From the textured, three dimensional wall fixtures to the elaborate lighting design and tile work--ALOT of thought, time and effort was put into the layout. Seed to table is an architectural marvel. Even though I was born in the 80s I felt like I was at the World Fair tonight, catching a glimpse of the future of culinary retail. The place is massive in terms of scope and size. They have 600 employees, about 20 different stations, an indoor (and supervised) play area for children, wine bar, coffee bar, vegan bar, sushi bar, coal fired pizzas, taco station, burger bar, an upstairs sports bar with live music!!! they even have a flower garden (coming soon)!!! And so much more. So, how do I know all this ? Because I had the privilege of meeting the owner himself (Alfie)who was literally helping employees stock produce when we arrived tonight. When I approached him to congratulate him, he was beyond friendly, Appreciative and informative. He actually saw us looking at the peaches, stopped what he was doing, grabbed one, cut it and offered it to me on the spot. If that's not first class service than nothing is. I mean how awesome is it to see the owner of a giant store like this literally busting his butt on the floor like everyone else... shows you what a down to earth person this guy really is. You can just tell that his heart is in the right place. Seed to table is spotless and clean, vibrant, beautiful and most importantly has great products. The homemade guacamole and salsa we got was "lights out" The fruit tart was superb and the homemade pasta looks insanely good. I can't wait to eat everything we bought. Next time I have to get the artisan pizza because it looked dynamite! My only gripe with seed to table is the parking... because the store is so popular, it's hard to find a spot. Sometimes there just isn't any parking at all. But I think that will resolve itself over time when the season slows down. Seed to table isn't cheap either. So if you're looking for bargain groceries, head to Walmart or Aldi. I can't really say that Seed to table is any more expensive than Whole Foods overall... however I will say that some of the frozen ice Cream, pizzas, and apps were definitely VERY pricey. Besides that I loved everything. There's even a book store in the back corner, next to the very modern looking vitamin section. How lucky and fortunate I am that a grocer like this is in my neighborhood! Can't wait to go back -- ALOT. read more

The Oakes family has opened what in my opinion should be described as the Disneyworld for Foodies. This place literally will leave your head spinning. Opened this week with little fanfare, the place was packed with all of Lee and Collier County's food fanatics who have been waiting months, quite actually years for this place to open it's doors. It was worth the wait. From fresh produce, a taco bar, fresh rolled Sushi, on site high end meat market or seafood, a coffee bar, a real bar, wine tasting, as well as a number of seating areas to sit and eat your purchase, it has it all.
