The trees here are all healthy and much bigger than you will find at a big box garden centre. This trip I found a very full Hilly Yew which was much taller than any available at other centers. Another city, another eye appealing experience. There was no customer lineup here. It was somewhat overcast and hanging just above freezing mark with a breeze. Masks are mandatory before allowed entry. This Toronto store is small-sized compared to recent ginormous garden centres we've visited. Indoor product selection was good and pricing was on the high end. The outdoor display areas were virtually empty due to winter. Aisles are narrow and a shopping basket is the way to go both inside and outdoors. Staff were knowledgeable, offering assistance, and friendly. Checkout was quick. Parking is found on the other side of the road opposite of the front entrance to the building. Wait for it..... Yes, we came home with 2 plant additions to our home!

They are very nice before you contract with them and they will promise you the world, but once they have your monies, they will mess you around for months to the extent they become belligerent. Our job was promised to be finished within 2 weeks, but took over four and a half months to "finish". They will hound you for money, and once you give them deposits and interim payments, you won't see them for days or weeks on end, and then you have to hound them to come back to site and continue. They will give you every bs excuse under the sun why they are not on site ( the supplier was late, the colour was wrong etc etc) and will always be blaming you for their tardiness. At the end, you will eventually discover the inferior work of these people. The best way to get these people to do the job i discovered, was to withhold monies until they "finish". They will also try and charge you for "extras" which should be part of the job - don't fall for this! Oh, and forget about any after sales service - they will promise and lie to you that they will come back and rectify things, but never do. You'll eventually get sick of calling them. FORGET THEM ! There are plenty other firms to choose from in Vaughan Ontario and the GTA.

I didn't notice at first, but there was someone tailing me. I walked back and forth to be certain. Soon he was just standing two feet away from me. I ended up buying some plants (which I probably shouldn't have. One had some sort of blight.) I was going to ask for help at the counter. However, they were pretty rude at the cash and it was then I realized the follower worked there. Then two of them followed me all the way to the car. I don't know if they thought my pregnant belly was a plant or something, but I was just wearing a summer dress and sandals. No where to hide anything. Plus I was holding my wallet. No purse at all. Honestly, I was scared of the two workers following me. I called my friend to tell her just in case they decided to jump me. When I got to the car, they stared at me and quickly put my plants in the back, then drive away. I have never seen such behaviour and I'm still wondering if they were planning to jump or attack me. I will not shop there again.
