Not only that, but while potting the plant for me, he had wrapped it up very considerably knowing that I was walking (aka he had double bagged it and stapled it mostly shut since it was below 0 temp outside and he didn't want it affecting the plant). The selection of plants and prices were great! There's also a cute cafe underneath this plant shop which is great if you want a quick drink. They have everything, from catnip, to dill, to tomatoes, garden supplies, fruit trees, and many different kinds of flowers (full or partial sun, shade), mulch, and various rocks. It's always enjoyable to go there, and I even visit there with in-laws sometimes to just look around. It's pretty, and I'll always love seeing how happy the bees are with their butterfly bushes.

I've been picking up my flowers and herbs for a couple years here. They've always been great quality, bloom wonderfully, and just generally healthy happy plants (anything contrary to that is because of user error). I also love their hardware. Such pretty pots and vases. Once in awhile, they have pretty good deals. They had a bunch of potted herbs for about $2.00 at the beginning of this summer. We also picked up a bonsai on sale. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable so even though the center is huge, it doesn't feel too intimidating.

We bought a blueberry bush last year, and the berries tasted a bit sour, but Valleyview has several varieties, like Jelly Bean! We ended up getting 4 different bushes! We spent several hundred dollars, and returned a few days later to pick up more items! I had to urge my husband to stop - lol This is definitely our go-to place from now on! This place gave me the impression that the Kim's were waiting around for a developer to gobble up their corner property for redevelopment; maybe it happened already. I found the building was an era of the past with mismatch rooms, uneven flooring, makeshift extensions. The word relic kept popping into my mind. If you can get beyond that, there are plenty of plants choices, Koi fish, gardening & pond supplies,, pots, lawn ornaments, etc. The prices were on the high side...my wife knows as our own garden is a testament. Purchases must be over $10 to use credit or debit cards. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We made purchases but this was a one and done.

But this year (covid-19) they don't have much flower and no vegetables. I had to go somewhere else to buy vegetables. They have also birds and fish for sale. Hopefully, next year, there will be a lot more.
