Not only that, but while potting the plant for me, he had wrapped it up very considerably knowing that I was walking (aka he had double bagged it and stapled it mostly shut since it was below 0 temp outside and he didn't want it affecting the plant). The selection of plants and prices were great! There's also a cute cafe underneath this plant shop which is great if you want a quick drink. They have a modest selection of garden supplies, but I don't think that's really their thing. I asked if they sold any trellises to grow my veggies on and he told me "Let them grow over the ground". I said "Yeah, but if I grow them up then I'll have more ground space." Then he looked at me a little annoyed and repeated himself. These plants are known to keep the air clean and are easy to care for - two absolute wins in my book. I was able to not only find a plant to take home, but also a trendy planter that matched my new bedroom decor. The best part was that an employee was kind enough to offer to pot it for us. There was a small fee for this (under $10), but it was worth it because I am not the most educated when it comes to that kind of thing. The employee was also very transparent with us when we asked if she could ensure the plant was in a healthy state, it was :). Happy to report my plant is alive and thriving! The trees here are all healthy and much bigger than you will find at a big box garden centre. This trip I found a very full Hilly Yew which was much taller than any available at other centers.
