I don't really buy flowers, because I'm mostly interested in things I can eat, but they seemed to have a good selection of those as well. They have a modest selection of garden supplies, but I don't think that's really their thing. I asked if they sold any trellises to grow my veggies on and he told me "Let them grow over the ground". I said "Yeah, but if I grow them up then I'll have more ground space." Then he looked at me a little annoyed and repeated himself. So, not the best customer service I've seen, but whatever just give me the plants.

It looks like a nursery but when you walk through the rows and racks of flowers and plants it's actually a small shop where the owners had maximized the space around the shop. Cheap starter plants and flowers at $1.99. Lots of variety.

Because it is in the same plaza area as Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital, I went to pick up my cat food and get my other cat's ashes that died a traumatic death. Their security guard starts berating me, threatening me that I am going to get a ticket and I told him I just came out of the RONA. Didn't matter to him, I also told him that my cat just died and this is a very stressful situation for me. He then continued to bully me for being upset. Thankfully the staff at Y&S animal hospital helped mediate the situation, but this is truly disappointing behaviour from RONA's management. I am no longer going to buy anything from this store, as I can't support this kind of behaviour. Businesses should be kind to each other and it's clear RONA is just a big bully.

There was a really good deal on top soil at Rona so we decided to take a shot at the closest one which was this location. We heard a lot of customers asking about the garden center and they were all aghast to hear that this Rona didn't have one. I think you'll be able to cover other home improvement needs here just no upgrades to your yard.
