Again, the design team was great as we planned to change the use to a picture window with a view of the Boulder foothills. It was such a high wind and hail location, we almost never opened it and the old wood was mostly destroyed in a hail storm last fall. It came in 2 months early from Marvin ( how often does that happen these days ?) and the team installed today. It was on a second story of a house with a sloped yard. Not even a challenge for these guys. Real pros and were done by lunchtime after arriving right in time this morning. We couldn't be happier with the whole process and the result.

We contacted the builder, who had gone out of business. He referred us to the window vendor, Signature Windows. Signature has been out here repeatedly and tried so damned hard to get these doors corrected. They asked the manufacturer for help, who did nothing. Finally, they sent their technicians to the manufacturer for training. The technician then came out to our house and FIXED THE DOORS! It is difficult to think of another contractor who would go above and beyond like Signature did. Thanks to Bruce and Tom and everyone at Signature for finally getting this right!

I went back again and the front person did not know why I was there or what I was talking about. They called me back and scheduled a time for me to come back the third time to confirm my glass choice. When I got my shower installed we got the wrong shower handle installed, when I called back to resolve this issue they blamed the error on my husband and I told him that that wasn't the case since I'm the one who picked it out at their showroom. I ended up getting yelled at, which I am still shocked at. They ended up replacing my handle for a $200.00 charge. The glass turned out beautiful and we are happy with it but their service and communication can defiantly be improved.

These were all original windows from late 1980s, many of which couldn't be opened and decaying framework. Was delaying needed work as we debated downsizing and selling as is. Jacob was our rep who showed up politely and asked if we would consider using Apex. He provided us with info and education about what to look for in quality windows. He spent time measuring the dozens of windows and frames, including several big windows with non-standard shapes in high-to-reach places. He also recommended adjustments to existing windows, converting several panes into single and changing types. This was done with no pressure. He then gave an estimate for the entire project including frames and colors, and also said this did not have to include the entire project if we wanted to do only segments. He left with no pressure to commit right away. After doing further research, I did proceed with entire project. Next, Nick the master installer came and made precise measurements. He was very efficient but extremely likable. The windows would take months to be produced, but I was then told when they were ready and given windows(no pun) for installation date options. When the date came, it was impressive to watch Nick and his team rip out everything and install the windows It took 4 days but each day everything was clean and windows secure. Now the most important thing-the quality of the windows is top notch. Temperature control was immediately noticed. The views through the windows were great. I have had no problems since installation this past summer. I recommend this product highly, and Jacob and Nick were both superb.

They allowed us to install half the windows, but priced out for all the windows and Locke sin the price for a year. There was a slight l miscommunication about whether or not we would get the prices that were quoted if we ordered within a year of the first purchase, or whether they quoted that we'd pick in the discounts. Ultimately they offered us what they quoted (just ensure you have a clear understanding.) The installer is great, efficient, friendly, on time and clean. The windows are great so far. We notice a huge difference in the upstairs bedrooms that previously would be much colder than the rest of the house. It has also reduced the noise. I'd recommend getting a quote!

This company doesn't stand behind their work. I have a six year old window that was serviced by them four years after installation and now it has become apparent that there is some serious water damage under the window. They refuse to take any responsibility and only offered to give me a bid to fix it.  I can't even fathom how after 6 years anyone would think this even remotely acceptable.

I got a text asking if they could deliver them on the original date given but I had to move it a week out from that - April 4th to April 10th. They them moved it to the 17th and kept moving the date forward with no advance notification or explanation. I made a lot of phone calls and emails, bottom line is no one at CWS knows what the other departments are doing. And they aren't giving Lowe's advance notice of this. They just got delivered today, May 18th and the 3 panel slider was just 1 piece! I'm at my wits end with this company and if there's any way you can avoid them, do so! I wish I had looked into them before I ordered!

We completely remodeled a house, and Colorado Window Source were the worst contractors we dealt…read morewith. They were friendly until we signed a contract and gave them a deposit. The guy who was supposed to measure our windows no showed.. twice. Taking time off work to meet someone who never shows gets old. I understand life happens but I expect communication. It took a month (with me calling often) to finally get the windows measured. Then it took another two months for the windows to show up (and constant follow up calls to make sure the windows were actually ordered). Most were installed fine, but one window was mis-measured by 4 inches! When I asked about the incorrect window measuring, Paulo was rude and unprofessional calling my house "janky" as the reason the window was off by 4 inches. Their solution was for me to hire a handyman to knock out our wall to accommodate their incorrect window size. Ha! Obviously they couldn't install the extra large window they ordered, but they took it with them, claimed they broke it, and said they'd expedite a reorder of the incorrect window. Which makes no sense when the window isn't the correct size! The installers left old windows and junk in my backyard. I've called many times requesting them to pick up the old windows. It's now four months later, I'm not expecting them to pick up their junk. I still haven't received that expedited reorder of the wrong window. I don't expect my money back for a window I never received. I just tell all my friends and other contractors never to work with them.

Unlike many window installers…read moreI've dealt with, Hal will take the time to listen to your requirements and give you exactly what you want. We installed a large egress window in our basement. We did the majority of the work ourselves, only contracting out the concrete cutting and actual window install. We had several contractors give us an estimate, and none of them seemed to believe we were capable of prepping and finishing the job on our own and gave us estimates to match. Hal sat down with us, gave us a price for exactly what we wanted, AND gave us tips on how to finish the job on our own. He was hands down the most professional and least annoying, used car salesman type contractor we talked to. His crew did a great job, and the window looks great. Something to consider: A few of the big name window companies contract install work out to Hal. Just call him initially and you'll get the same glass and same quality of work without the mark up.

Everything went smoothly until one of the installers accidentally broke our shutter in our guest room. He was apologetic about it and couldn't have felt worse about it. He and another guy both tried to put it back together to no avail. We had to call shutter company to come fix at a price of $200. So we then called Hal who took offense to him having to pay that and offered to "split the difference " with my husband!!!!!! Why would we pay for something they broke? He said because we got a "good deal" on windows. So unprofessional. We did not let that happen & we took the $200 off the price of the last window that was mis-measured and had to be reordered. Then after the last window was installed I asked for our warranty from Hal. Never got one, called three times and each time he said he'd handle it and was quite curt with me each time. I finally called Anlin myself and got one sent to me. Beware as he will call you when he is owed money but after that you never receive any response back. Zero customer service!

I would not recommend them, they left nails on the roof, lots of them and never removed them. They installed the wrong window and have not been back to replace the window. The screens they repaired they did not put the tabs into the new screens, which makes it impossible to remove the screens as needed. They left one of the screens hanging out of the house because they could not reinstall it because it did not have the tabs They cracked some of the siding on the house. I have called several times, and it doesn't seem to be high on their priority list to get this even completed. I cannot warn anybody enough who reads this review. Do not use them, I do not know what happened to their company, but it seems to be in freefall. There is nothing that they can say as to why it has taken since June to come back and do the stuff that needs to be corrected. There was also a wasp nest, and they forgot their wasp spray and had to use my gasoline on the windows of the house to kill the wasps. They left nails and garbage and nails inside and outside of the house. I have really had it with them and I cannot emphasize enough go with somebody else other than them. The shutters that they installed on the sides of the windows, also seem to be not installed correctly and seem to be crooked.

He followed through on everything he promised, and thanks to his persistence, my claim was fully approved. He truly made the process easy and stress-free for me.
