I give this company a zero for customer service. I have never been so disrespected by a company I'm trying to give my money to - just for asking why the company had not responded to our request for a quote after 11 days. The response which I received was rude, unprofessional, and absolutely not warranted (see below email chain - only emails, phone numbers, and names have been removed due to Yelp rules). No customer, no human, deserves to be talked to this way. First off, there was no "out of office" when my husband emailed 11 days ago with a quote. How would I have known they were on vacation? "It's called vacation." Unbelievably snotty and, again, not warranted, response. My email was polite and factual, so I'm unsure why the company got so offended. Secondly, I never asked nor hinted to be put in front of people in line. I'm unsure why the company assumed this, and I'm really unsure as to why she thinks she can talk to potential customers this way. And to think I almost gave this company my hard-earned money. Recommend you do not use - obviously, not very nice people - and clearly do not respond in a timely manner, nor do they understand they exist because of their customers. Not very responsive to inquiries and very vague when attempting to answer questions about products used for cleaning.

My experience with See Dirt Run and Beth in particular is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a company. We sent See Dirt Run a deposit check on May 2014 to restore some outdoor teak furniture we own. We did not hear back from them for months. Finally, in early August 2014, I called them to ask when I could expect the work to be done. After all this time I was annoyed and expressed this to the man who answered the phone. He immediately gave my call to Beth. Beth and her attitude told me it is clearly stated on their website that they are scheduling into Fall 2014 and they have been very busy doing a huge job at Ski Liberty. When I said I didn't care about the job at Ski Liberty she said, " I will send your f...ing check back to you you b.tch" and hung up on me. Needless to say I was dumbfounded by this interaction. When my husband called back to complain about how I was treated they said I was rude. REALLY!!!!!!! I simply expressed my frustration with the lack of communication and as a customer I have that right! I did not raise my voice to them nor did I curse at them as they did. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! It seems to me that they probably provided stellar service to Ski Liberty and other big jobs, but the little jobs are treated differently. I plan to have a discussion with the BBB and the Maryland Consumer Affairs Commission about this experience as well. Very, very expensive for deck work. I asked to have all rotted wood removed and replaced. See Dirt Run replaced ordered 10 2inX4inX14ft pine wood boards for $490 with most boards being replaced that were shorter than 4 ft. for a total of 11 replacements They Ignored the severely rotted top rail 2inX6in boards covering 7.5 feet because I did not say I wanted them replaced which I did say I wanted replaced. At the time of the estimate Rod even suggested that I replace all the top railing caps and measured it to be 60 linelear feet when he gave me the estimate in March and wanted 1/3 down or $ 263. It took three months for the carpenter to arrive on 10th June to work for 3 hours. They were I hour late because of traffic. The carpenter had to stop working for plus 30 minutes when he ran out of nails and Rod had to go to Lowes to buy enough to finish the job. They did not replace the rotted rail caps because he had failed to put it in the $789 estimate which I thought surely would have included the cap. This price did not include sanding, deck washing or sealing which I did not contract for since that was an additional $951.32. Of course they have my credit card number and will charge the entire price except for $89 which was for putting in three screws to reinforce the steps. I plan to go to Home Depot and purchase 2inX6inX12 ft boards for $8.57 each and install them myself even though I am 74 years old and a female. This job has cost me $700 already and a very ugly deck Thank you for letting me get this experience out of mind since I didn't sleep for two days. I do not recommend this company as it appears they are over-priced and over-scheduled. read more
