My only gripe is they insist on giving you a silk robe - which would be fine and dandy and add to the 'luxurious' experience - except they're all 'one size fits all' and it's incredibly awkward, unpleasant, and downright embarrassing to drag around a robe that does not close because it is too small. Buy some bigger sizes. It's already murder for some of us to stare into giant floor length mirrors the whole time, but it's 10xs when you have to stare at the robe that won't close and the belt that's dragging on the ground - cut us fat girls some slack.

It's a girls interpretation of what a guys space would look like. I should've walked out. Hair at two other stations, not picked up and no one even making any effort to make it look presentable. There were two female staff and I was the only client. At a time when most places are hopping. The women are pretentious and snobby. Wow. What a turn on. They act like they cannot be bothered to do any work. Avoid this place. I'm a no frills kind of guy, but at least the place has to be clean and the staff courteous. And to walk out with a jacked up haircut that looked NOTHING like what I asked for... Hopefully it not being busy means it will close and another worth while business can take its place. This shop is a waste of space.

I told the owner/stylist @ Hazel Street Salon that I wanted a 2-4 inch trim with some red lowlights. Unfortunately, she must have misunderstood, because I left with a 7 inch "trim" and blonde highlights. Blonde. She told me this was a more "natural and modern" look. I'm not high maintenance and I was in there alone with her, which was already concerning, so I didn't become aggressive with her there (also based on other reviews that she does not take accountability). I'm just so sick of stylists who claim to know what's best for my face. The don't have to look at it every day. Thank God my hair grows quickly and that biotin exists. I will not be returning.
