Since August 6, 2024, I have been reaching out to Yes Installation for help with replacing a…read morecamera. I received inconsistent responses until September 4, 2024, when I had to repeatedly call and text. Eventually, their Denver office dismissed me, claiming they no longer service my camera system, despite having replaced the cameras just three months prior. They even texted me that my camera system would be available soon. Now, they say they have no cameras because my system is "too old," even though it's a brand new Lorex system installed in 2023. After a month of inquiries, I received a sarcastic comment from the person responsible for ordering cameras, stating that they no longer service such old models. Why provide me with misleading information for an entire month? How can you claim not to service them when you just did three months ago? I strongly advise against doing business with them; you will only encounter frustration. I have text message evidence of our communication and wish I could have recorded our phone call, as it was both disrespectful and unprofessional.

Brian and his team do a great job. Yes Installation manages my whole-home automation system. This…read moremeans I have had the opportunity to work with Brian on numerous occasions over the years as we have upgraded and tweaked my system. My residential setup includes URC Total Control home automation, which incorporates a 130+ device Lutron lighting system, numerous video sources(Rokus, Chromecasts, and DVD players) across 5 televisions, as well as multiple audio streaming sources (Autonomics and Sonos) across 11 audio zones. Brian not only has the expertise and experience you need for a complex home automation install, he brings an incredible work-ethic to the table as well. On more than one occasion he has gone above and beyond my expectations to fine tune my system and ensure I am satisfied with his work. I highly recommend Brian and his team for any home automation, video, audio or security project. No matter the size of your project, rest assured you are getting the "A team" with Yes installation.

Their operators are quite rude and condescending. If you accidentally set off your alarm by opening…read morea door, they will call you in the first 30 seconds. Of course you cannot hear your phone because the alarm is going off. If you haven't answered in 30 seconds, they have already dispatched the police. Once it shows that the user disarms the alarm within the first two minutes, they don't call back to see if all is well and to cancel the police. I had this situation happen. I accidentally set off the alarm and I immediately called and explain that I set the alarm off accidentally and give them the code. They assured me that they had canceled any dispatch. They didn't bother to call the police to cancel it and the police showed up at my house saying that the alarm company had dispatched them. When there are false alarms that involve police dispatch you can be fined. I called and confronted one of the dispatchers and she said that it wasn't their responsibility to cancel a dispatch even if the homeowner turns off the alarm right away. I am going to immediate cancel my monitoring and find a service that has the intelligence to reach out if an alarm is canceled by the homeowner within a matter of two to three minutes to see if all is well before dispatching the police.

After over a year of frustration with how our setup ended up working due to the changes I made (not due to anything on their end), I recently decided to see if they could come back out and re-do some of it which would require dropping new cables down a wall. The work was very easy to schedule with their AV division. The crew who came out were very friendly and professional and took time to listen to what I was requesting to make our AV system work exactly like we want it to. Most importantly, they didn't try to up-sell me on anything. They did exactly what I was asking of them, and everything works perfectly now in the way that we wanted. I only wish I had called them out a long time ago. I would highly recommend them to help with any AV needs. They're not the cheapest option, but with most things in life you get what you pay for. They also pre-wired our security and home networking systems, and that's all been working perfectly.

**"Exceptional Service That Goes Above and Beyond"**…read more About three years ago, my friend and I purchased two used amplifiers from DeVance Electronic Lifestyle. Since then, they've supported us through multiple upgrades, always with patience and expertise. But what truly sets them apart is their *unmatched* commitment to customer care. The owner personally came to my home--*twice*--to calibrate my subwoofer, refusing to charge extra for the service. What's remarkable is that I'm just an everyday audiophile, not a high-end client, yet he treated me like VIP. That level of dedication is rare. In an era where great service feels like a relic, DeVance Electronic Lifestyle. proves it's alive and well. They've earned a customer for life. Keep doing what you do--it matters. **Thank you!**

DW Surveillance Solutions was hands down the best contractor I've hired on Thumbtack so far!…read moreFrom the moment they arrived, I was impressed by how friendly, knowledgeable, and professional they were. I felt so confident in their work that I had them quote a second job for my elderly mother -- and they were able to do it the same day! Unlike larger companies that send out generic, automated quotes, DW Surveillance took the time to visit my home in person, assess the layout, and have a real conversation with me about what I needed. It was refreshing to deal with real people instead of a bot. When you're having security cameras installed, trust is everything -- and I felt completely at ease with them. They went above and beyond, even climbing into my attic and discovering a bug infestation I had no idea about. As a widow who's not comfortable getting up there myself, they kindly took care of it with some spray I had on hand. That kind of thoughtfulness and care is rare these days. Throughout the entire installation, I felt comfortable -- which isn't always the case with strangers in your home. Honestly, if I'd had groceries on hand, I probably would've made them lunch! That's how great the experience was. Their pricing was in line with other quotes I received, but the service was far superior. I love supporting small, up-and-coming businesses like this because they truly care about their work and their customers. They even told me not to hesitate to reach out if I had any questions about the Ring app or adjusting the zones they set up for me. Amazing service, fantastic team, and just genuinely good people. Highly recommended -- FIVE STARS!
