Very disappointed with the performance of the system package that cost me over $10,000 (I purchased…read moretheir premium/top level speaker package and a number of other items they recommended). Before the installation, I shared my concerns below with the sales person/installer: 1. The size of the inwall speakers the recommended would not likely reproduce the full range of sound desired (especially midrange frequencies) 2. The soundstage produced by the front three speakers needed to anchor vocals to the faces onscreen - not localized to a speaker (especially not to the center channel located below screen). 3. I wanted clean but very strong bass performance that you could feel but not localize to a point in the room. After the installation I received a full demo and sure enough - they failed on all three points. - There is minimal midrange reproduction - The voices are localized on the center channel speaker (despite adjustments) - The powered subwoofer cost over $1,000, but lacks any real impact and it is easy to place where it is in the room I spent time afterwards with the installer sharing my concerns and asking for adjustments to be made. He made some efforts, but the equipment and configuration still produces very, very thin sound reproduction. There is no full range of deep rich sound in action movies (vehicle engines, explosions, etc.). Music on soundtracks sounds like it is playing out of a hand held radio. I told him I was not satisfied and not happy. All he could offer was to sell me additional speakers (left and right tower cabinet speakers and a second subwoofer), and he would give me credit back for two of the in wall speaker The amp is likely not adequate - should have gone with something higher current (Denon, Marantz or similar?). I trusted my money with their expertise/recommendations, and really feel like I failed to pick the right Home Theater company to accomplish a simple HT set up. The room is a dedicated HT room, only 14'x21' with 10' ceilings. I should have done more research. Lastly - on a personal note, I believe how an installer approaches "wire management" (see photos - no methodology) is an indicator of their attention to detail what standard they set for themselves. There is also a photo of their teeny tiny "premium" in wall speaker.

When talking to John, I could tell he was very knowledgeable about Audio/Video installs. He suggested I go with a Sonos Port to allow streaming over the internet, but noted that it was backordered months. I also decided to hold off on two other items he recommended until I could have his crew review my media room setup and verify whether there was other equipment that I needed. By the end of the day on Monday, I had approved an estimate for installation of whole home speakers and a media room setup and received a scheduled install start time of between 9-10am on Thursday. On Thursday, the install crew arrived in the scheduled time window and worked professionally to get the installation completed. They also suggested a couple of other items. John and I talked later in the day on Thursday and mentioned that the crew could install the additional items (other than the Sonos Port) on Friday. I agreed. When the crew arrived on Friday, I was happily suprises that they had a Sonos Port. Long story short, they installed the equipment and took time to show my wife (who is technically challenged) how to get the streaming working on her phone and complete the full setup. Awesome work and customer service. I highly recommend John's team at Honest Install for all of your audio/visual needs. Of note: John is a busy guy. He mentioned up front that the best way to reach him is on his phone as he is often traveling for work.

Did just that and received a very fair offer to replace two ceiling speakers with a new pair I had received as a gift (most other companies refused to work with me because I didn't buy the speakers from them). Guys showed up on time as promised and were out of here in an hour or so. They cleaned up and, most importantly, were very courteous (even wearing masks due to COVID which I appreciated). I have a couple of other projects I need to get to later on down thand I'll call these guys up again without hesitation!

MODIA wasn't the cheapest, but they were by far the only vendor who were willing to work with us around our desired budget without compromising on the quality/brand of the products we wanted in our setup. Ben Graham is the man ! He was so patient with us without being pushy at all throughout the process, took the time to explain our options and tweaked our quote without being fussy to meet our budget while still maintaining the integrity of the system. We ended up getting our dream setup that included a Stewart grey screen, Sony 4K Projector and Bowers Wilkins for all our speakers across the board. One of the speakers in the surround sound system, the woofer, blew out and it has a lifetime warranty. I have been calling them and leaving messages since December of last year, sent emails via their website and they refuse to return my calls. Maybe is because I am about 40 miles from them, but they took the job so this should not ben an issue. Please don't waste your money with this company. They will not stand behind their work. What frustrates me is the total lack of response. With the review they will probably get back to me and tell me it was just miscommunication.

They did a beautiful job! Johann answered all my questions from start to finish, explained things in a way that made sense to a non-tech person, and never made me feel stupid for all my questions. My only wish is that I had found him sooner. I had purchased the wrong equipment, wired my house wrong, and installed a versa box which left a hole in my fireplace (all because Tollbrothers had rushed me through the process or frankly gave me the wrong info to start). Johann never acted frustrated that he was dealing with a less than ideal situation. He never showed frustration with the situation, but simply offered me astute work-arounds and solutions. It's obvious that he takes pride in his work and his craft. You can tell he truly enjoys finding solutions and making customers happy. Moreover, it was obvious that Johann takes great pride in the incredible team he has built. Communication between him and all his team members was seamless. Each of the four members that showed up for the install were not only knowledgeable, but they were also kind and respectful. They treated my house with care, cleaned up any messes from the install, and asked if there was anything else they could do to help. Not once did they make me feel rushed for asking questions. It's clear they love their jobs. Expect to get excellent service, immediate and clear communication, and fair prices.
