Since they have taken over, the security gate remains open, the security cameras are pointing in the wrong direction. Several locks insode the facility have been cut and items stolen. Our locker included. We have reached out to the call center several times with no response other than the rep saying our concerns will be forwarded to a manager. We cant speak to anyone with any authority to fix the problems they caused. I attempted to contact them through their website only to be given an error message stating the site is not safe. When I continued to the site and accesses the contact us link, I was unable to send the message. The company is a scam and only wants to collect the fees from tenants.

I booked a 5' x 5' unit online and they charged a $29 admin fee, $22 to buy a lock (which only appeared on the last page of the buying process), and $20/month for mandatory insurance. That should've already been enough red flags... When I arrived, my storage unit didn't have a lock inside like it was supposed to, so I left and talked to an agent in a video chat in the office. The office has a desk and chair but no one was there. They told me to open and remove a lock from an unused nearby locker. I found it there but when I then realized that my assigned unit was filthy, covered in spiderwebs, dead bugs, and dust. It was clear this unit wasn't ready for someone to use so I put my stuff in the one I took the lock from because it was the exact same size but actually clean. I went back to the office and talked to a different agent in a video chat who told me I can't use the other unit because it's not applicable for the $1 initial month deal. I told her that my assigned unit was dirty and unusable and she offered me a different unit but I would be required to pay $1 (The amount is insignificant, but it's absurd to ask for more money at this point). I then just said this is such a hassle so I wanted a full refund and she said I could be refunded everything except the $29 admin fee. I asked to talk to the regional manager but she said it wasn't possible and said they would review my case and contact me and I'm waiting for them to do so. If you rent from this company be prepared to clean your unit and have a bunch of extra charges thrown in right before submitting payment info.

The place is gated but it's 24 hrs and you need your gate code cause each storage unit has an alarm that is set when you exit and turned off when you enter into the gate I love how close it is Tom my house it's a good safe place to store your things . The staff was very eager to assist and easy to work with. I especially liked that the facility has individually alarmed units with 24 hour access and managers living on site. I also liked the fact that the buildings are brick (not steel) with shingled roofs which should keep the moisture levels down in my units. I did rent storage in the Chicago area and I can assure you that the prices here are significantly lower than what I experienced in Illinois.

Easy, bluetooth entry!…read more I rented a 10x10 unit online. When I arrived, the staff kindly checked my order and then explained how I could simply drive around and would find the lock I already paid for inside the unit. When I saw the unit I realized I had underestimated the amount of space I'd need. I returned to the office and then switched me to a 10x15 within 5 minutes, with no trouble at all. This time, I decided to rent a bluetooth unit for ease of access with their app. The app allows you to open the entry gate, exit gate, and any bluetooth units you're renting. Easy peasy! Unfortunately the bluetooth wasn't registering my new unit (the one I had just switched to) quickly, so I could not use the bluetooth for a couple of hours. I called the office while standing outside my unit, and Keith walked out to meet me and explained that the unit was already open, and I could manually lock it, so it did not prevent me from putting items inside and securing them during my first visit. Easy! I was surprised he walked over to tell me himself - very kind. I returned the next day and the app worked as expected.

The unit was clean & the lock purchased from them was easy to install. Only negative was some extra fees I had to pay initially- but the special price on the unit helped balance it out some. First time I've rented a storage space so probably should have researched that more (my fault). Overall- glad I decided on this place- its close & Tammy was very helpful. Good experience!
