This is my first Yelp review. I had to do this one because Marco and Section Wines deserve it. I've been to many wineries and have done a lot of wine tastings. I found Section Wines right before the pandemic. I was looking for something different. Hands down, this is the best wine and wine tasting experience I have ever had. All the other reviewers do not lie. The wines are SO good, and Marco (the owner and wine maker) takes time to really give you a personal wine tasting experience. I have been back several times (obviously), and I always bring friends with me. No one ever goes home without a membership or bottles (and more bottles) of wine. Today, I wish Marco a Happy 50th revolution around the sun! A little birdie (Ana) told me when we were there a couple of weeks ago. I hope your new birthday year is filled with peace, prosperity, adventure, love, laughter and health. You deserve it.

First and best spot we stopped at on our trip! We were blown away by the quality of the wines and hospitality. Marco is a great host and so generous. He is extremely passionate about what he does and that shows in the way he talks about his selection and how excited he is to share it. He offers a unique and stellar tasting that should not be missed. We will for sure be back and would recommend 10/10!

Marco and everyone here was so gracious and welcoming. They greeted us upon our arrival with handshakes and a smile. Then we entered their facility and were all amazed at the gorgeous paintings in the wall. They thoroughly explained the compositions and origins of their wines as we enjoyed a tasting. They served various cheeses, chocolates, almonds and crackers that paired beautifully with their wine selection. They truly made my wine tour of Santa Barbara! Marco we wish you the best and hope you have great success. You won't regret visiting here and enjoying their original wines! Everyone here is so passionate about wine and what they do it permeates the facility. Thank you!

Oh my GOSH, is all I have to say! What an incredible, special wine experience! Marco was AMAZING and so passionate about his wines! I took copious notes on each of his wines but I will remember the descriptions he gave us and his beautiful artwork/labels. I felt so BLESSED to have experienced this! Thank you Marco!

The winemaker hosted the tasting and explained he left making wine at Stags Leap to start his own where he had more control. The wine was superb. The BDX Bordeaux Blend stole the show and is the current favorite of our trip to the valley. Highly recommend this wine!!

Love the art on the business cards, bottles. Delicious wine.

After trying wine at different wineries this was by far one of our favorite. This boutique wine had really good wine. It's a cute atmosphere has good art displayed. We usually don't drink white wine but this white wine we bought was so good. For sure will recommend to friends and family.

Rainy day in Buellton means heading out to Section Wines! Marco has a unique passion and knowledge for his very personal winemaking. We will return and we are looking forward to watching his business become increasingly successful!

Final Girl Wines was a must stop for me while visiting Solvang!…read more Final Girl Wines is located in the heart of Solvang and is a funky addition to this magical little town. I am a huge horror fan so I was beyond excited to check them out over the weekend! The inside and vibe was all I could hope for and more! We were immediately greeted when we arrived and found a table to sit at and enjoy our time. There were only a few tables plus bar seating available so it was nice and cozy. I loved seeing all of the horror memorabilia, decor and merchandise throughout including the killer Ghostface mask and Halloween pinball machine. My husband ordered a glass of their Cab which he loved and I ordered a Vamperol Spritz - they were even kind enough to make our daughter a mocktail. They even brought her over a Nightmare Before Christmas activity kit to keep busy and we bought a Michael Myers sticker as well as a Nightmare Before Christmas hair clip to take home. I'm kicking myself now for not buying a t-shirt! Kids are very welcome at this winery which was a huge plus for us! Staff were personable and made our visit very enjoyable! Final Girl Wines also offers tasting flights and non-alcoholic options as well! They do not offer food, but there are so many great places in Solvang to check out. If you're a horror fan or just enjoy good wine, you have to check out Final Girl Wines while in Solvang! I can't wait to come back and give them another visit one day!

The wall colour was pretty but was a little unimpressed with the amount of horror stuff. Maybe having a horror movie on the back corner playing silent would be cool or more Halloween decorations? Somthing was missing. The chimney was cool though. Anyways, shop opened over an hour late. Came back a few times and noticed it was opened. We were the 1st customers in. My main issue is only the owner was not paying attention to not only us (party of 4) but also the couple in the front and the back corner. Gave all his attention to the people at the bar. I dont drink wine and wanted to learn more or at least which wine I like. He couldn't keep up with pouring my wine flight. Waited way too long for pours. Very little explanation of the wine or suggested pairings. And mentioned more than once "I forgot about you". My party was fed up wanted to leave after they finished their spritzers and glass but I was flight pour 3 out of 5. He did not asked if they wanted more drinks. My partner got tired of waiting and headed over to the counter for 10 minutes before being helped to pay since he did not go to our the table. I'm glad we decided to not eat there who knows how long we would have waited on food. I double the Suggestion from another post hire some additional help. I did see thought the day the shop is packed and I'm happy for that but I wish the owner would of delivered a better experience.

There are two patios with tons of seating and gorgeous views, as well as plenty of cozy indoor seating for chilly nights. The vibe is rustic but regal, and the main room has lots of great shopping to browse while you sip. The wine is delicious. I especially love the Grenache Rosé, Blanc de Blanc, and Pinot. They offer several different flights, but my favorite is the bubbly flight with four pours to try. Feeling hungry? Their cheese platters are tasty and pair perfectly with the wines. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We especially love visiting when there's live music. They also host tons of fun events and classes, including comedy nights, so it's definitely worth joining the club or at least hopping on their mailing list. Although I don't live in the area, when I visit I do expect to feel welcomed. To be honest, anyone walking through the door should feel that way. For that reason I'm pulling out of my membership. This past visit confirmed that the staff that signed me up and treated me with utmost care did not carry through. Love the wine and wish I could justify the spend for so-so service. Also menu should be updated for more offerings, if there no pop up food is very limited. Hours on Yelp are not the tasting hours listed on IG. I've asked this previous time to have those corrected because I've been done dirty twice by Yelp. Thanks for the memories, was nice while it lasted. Again love the wine and the space is gorgeous, but I will be taking my membership elsewhere.

In my day…read more. I have been to so many Vineyards & even a few Farms too. But this place.. Is a twofer! Yeah, baby! A Vineyard AND a Farm! Beat that Napa Valley! Ok, Ok.. I know Napa Valley is like THE Mecca of Wineries, at least in California, & going there once before, I kinda understand, kinda. But is it really that much better? In my humble opinion.. Ehh. It was whatever Sure, I'm down dropping a nice crispy Benjamin to get that aged, vintage 2013 Cab.. But will I really care, or even notice once that bottle is depleted & I'm now ordering the 2nd least expensive Chenin Blanc on the menu just to wash away all my worries. (Suddenly, Every wine snob, wine aficionado & novice sommelier enters the chat) But, But Lance, it's Napa, How dare you speak against this Holy Land of all Superior Wine. And to that I say, I get it. I truly understand that not all wine is created equally, but also that not all of us have the BIG BUCKS to continuously drop $100 big ones on that prized Napa Cab. Hey, call me crazy, but to me, it's not just ALL about the wine that is produced, but more about the overall experience. It's the vibe. It's the way you are treated. & it's definitely about how they made you feel. Anyone else getting Maya Angelou vibes?? IYKYK ;) **All Wine Snobs have left the Chat** *Vega Vineyard and Farm has entered the chat* Alright team Vega, sit back, kick your feet up, & just listen while I brag a little about you. It was a BEAUTIFUL November afternoon just 4 days prior to Thanksgiving. We were heading back south from Paso Robles & decided to make a little pit stop before getting all the way back home. So my wife looked up wineries in the area that were kid friendly & Vega was at the top of the list. Walking in, we noticed that they had a little restaurant right at the entrance, so we went to put our name down for a table. Unfortunately, the wait time was a little longer than we wanted to wait, only because we had the kids with us, but the hostess suggested if we didn't want to wait, that they had more food on the other end of the farm in "Pops Place". Other than the wine itself, eating the food in "Pops Place" was probably the best move we could have unintentionally made that day. (I'll explain in a bit) So we slowly made our way towards the other side of the farm/vineyard & all I can say is, what a gorgeous property it was. The farm life, the outdoors, the weather, & I was with my Fam. It couldn't have been a better day! Once we got to Pops Place, it was like we entered into a whole new world. A huge area for kids with a jungle gym, stations for outdoor games & activities, benches to sit, even private cabanas you can reserve (not sure if there is a cost) & of course a little shack to order food and wine! So remember earlier when I said eating in Pops Place was probably the best move we could have made that day, Well here are 3 reasons why! 1) We ordered the George's Greek Gyro Pita w/fries (a beef gyro with lettuce, tomato, onions & tzatziki wrapped in a pita) and.. OH. MY. GAWDDD It was so flippin' GOOD! It was so good, that I didn't even have time to snap a pic, let alone set it down after taking that 1st bite. It was complete perfection! 2) Chicken Strips & Fries from the kids menu w/a side of ranch.. Let's just say, The kids loved 'em. 3) We washed it all down w/a beautiful, crisp, perfect for a fall day, 2024 bottle of their finest ALBARIÑO. & it was, EXCELLENT!! After we sat & ate, let the kids get out all of their energy, the fun at Vega continued. From there, we headed to feed the livestock on the property (lettuce sold onsite for a few bucks). There were Chickens, Goats, Pigs, Emu's & Sheep, and the kids and myself had a blast feeding 'em. After that, we stopped off at one of their gift shops to browse all of the fun stuff. Of course, we got the kids their requested candy! The staff we interacted with while at Vega were all so kind, welcoming & made us feel apart of the extended Vega family. Because of this, we will definitely be coming back next time we pass through. So, & this is where YOU come in! The next time you are passing through Buellton, do yourself, your spouse and your kids, if you've got them, a HUGE favor: Come check out Vega Vineyard & Farm and tell me that I was right!
