I also told her my new job starts the following Monday and my daughter's birthday was the upcoming Saturday. Normally this would not have been an issue as it would have been all healed up by then. I have been getting fillers and Botox for about 20 years now. I have always gone to Peter Karlsberg, MD in Ventura, but I wanted to stay local in Camarillo and get some fillers. I told the technician who was putting the numbing cream on me that this will only last 10 to 15 minutes on me. Same with Novacaine ect. I asked him to please do not wait too long as the numbing effect will dissipate. I'll make this short despite the fact that it is not. These are the treatments I received from Veronica: 2 syringes of Voluma RHA 2/ RHA 3 It was not as some of these reviews state. Yes they were friendly, as they should be. As well, some post that they are reasonably priced, their products are higher than the average M.D doing fillers in the Ventura County area. I had specifically expressed to Veronica that my 1st priority was my Nasolabial folds (lines between your nose and cheeks) needed filler. Veronica said that it was due to bone loss and she couldn't use filler above the nostril line.... ???? This was 'a first' in 15 plus years. My 2nd priority was my lips, I like them fairly full and puffy/pouty, which we also discussed. By the time we got to the injections the numbing cream had worn off, and it has in the past but they just reapply numbing cream and wait 5 minutes, yet this was not the case in this facility. The injections in my cheek bones were extremely painful as I could feel everything. When Veronica started on my lips I came out of my seat. I told her I could feel that and I am not numb any longer. Veronica's response was that there is lidocaine to help with the numbing, yet that was after it pierced your skin that was not numb. Veronica used 2 syringes of Voluma in my cheek bones, which after the product settles it leaves a dip between your lower eyelid and cheekbone if too much filler is injected. So, that is now what I have. My lips, I will need to go back to my Dr, Dr Peter Karlsberg in Ventura to have my lips redone and fill the pockets under each of my eyes. The total cost of this experience was $2435.00 with $1500.00 paid in cash (no cash discount-very unusual) I have included photos from the day after up to this morning of very visible bruising. Along with a billing statement. Expensive lesson that's all I can say. S.W.

The first IPL treatment had dramatic results...improved my skin texture, including smoothness and skin look and feel, reduced redness on my chin, massively reduced spots and discoloration. With the 2nd treatment of IPL the clinician used a smaller head to deliver the pulsed light to target smaller zones on my face (I wish this was provided in the first treatment as well). It's less than half the price of Spa Ojai. The Float Spa itself is really really small. However, booking a massage gets you free self-parking, and you get a pool key for the day. The pool has a bar where you can mobile order food and drinks right to your seat. It's expensive and takes a long time though. Save it for after your massage for sure. Why only 4 stars? Well, there is no locker room, which I would have really appreciated. Just bathrooms to change in. They are nice enough, but I would have liked a locker to keep my stuff in so I didn't have to drag my clothes with me around all day. Also, I said medium pressure, but my version of medium seems to be that therapists version of light.
