Stumbled across this place looking for a pedicure appt that would take me day-of. Every other place I had called had no availability. I called and they were sweet and took me right away. Tina was my nail tech and she did a fabulous, swift pedicure for $35. I am accustomed to paying $30 but the $5 extra was worth it! She did a wonderful citrus scrub on my legs and a lovely minty mask on my calves afterward. Then she wrapped my legs in warm towels while painting my toes. It was so nice! Massage chairs and water too! It wasn't crowded and seemed very clean. She appreciates a cash or Zelle tip so keep that in mind. I will certainly be back! read more

Really shocked at the poor quality of nail polish we received here. A few of us made an appointment in preparation for my sister's wedding. Most of the brides nails were terrible, the nails were lumpy, unevenly shaped and the gradient in color was not pretty. she went elsewhere to fix them instead of asking to redo on the spot because she saw another bridesmaid have lumpy and uneven dipped nails and didn't trust that someone else would do it properly. The day we got our nails done I had 2 chip. Not my nail, but the gel polish itself. I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but it was super disappointing to spend so much money on nails and really have terrible quality. The employees were very nice. They said they could get us all back in the next day, but we were leaving out of town for the wedding. read more

I've been going to this nail shop for a while, mimi usually does my nails but wasn't there, the guy whose always in the front did them and there immediately a crack in two of my nails, i pointed it out and he denied fixing it three days later both of the nails broke. poor application and rude when i addressed the mistake, i loved this place but unfortunately i will not be going back because if you happen to not like how they do ur nail how they do it the first time they get offended and become extremely rude. read more

Worst customer service I've ever gotten. The guy was so rude and getting mad at everything. My nails also look horrible and every time I suggested a fix on how I want my nails he shushed me. Not to mention, the bathroom toilet had pee every where on it and when I asked for toilet paper they made ME get the toilet paper down from their storage. I've gone here before and the first visit was very nice, but this second visit was the worst thing I've ever experienced. I do not recommend. read more

Friendly at first, then put the wrong color on and called my friend a liar for correcting it. All the women began talking over each other to try and convince me to use a different color. My friend was with me and wanted matching toes and when asking for the same color they brought another color and after she denied the color change they tried to push, they started saying the color they were actively putting on me was ugly and this new color was better. They were silent after trying to make us agree that we were wrong. On top of that we called in hours before for an appointment and when we walked in I sat for 15 minutes and wasn't acknowledged after sitting me in a chair. Even after service the women are trying to convince us we said a color we didn't. Over all clean environment and the outcome was okay, service is pushing me from not returning. read more

Over priced.l and not relaxing. I got a manicure/pedicure with no polish (not even a clear top coat) for $53 and the "massage" was so painful. The gentleman was making weird eye contact with me the entire time while he was squeezing the hell out of my feet. My husband even commented on the eye contact. My husband got a manicure/pedicure for $55 even though he said he only wanted the basic at $45. The massage chairs are not comfortable. The woman who worked on my husband was nice but he said the massage was like some light scratching. read more

I walked in and they rushed me out to fit other clients who came in 5 minutes after me. They were so insistent on rushing people that the nail technician gave me uneven french tip sizes.. I asked for square round .. i have never seen my nail look so round and ugly. The corners of the polish didn't even cover my entire nail and there are random white streaks in the clear polish. My nail looks bumpy from the multiple coating, I didn't want to keep asking to fix it after she was pushy and rushed me to sit on the mani chair (just so they fit other people in) ...Would not recommend for someone wanting to have a relaxing day off. read more

Moved to Camarillo during the pandemic and am originally from Ventura. So, needed to find a nail spot. I tried another location nearby and it was okay but how do you know what is best without trying more than one? I showed up here the moment they opened the doors at 9. I had no appointment but the lady said "okay come now I do your nails. Pick a color." And just like that. She got me in for a gel manicure. Helped me get the shade I wanted. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I called and asked if I could come in and get a mani pedi done and they said yes, when I first got there they told me I needed to pay first and I did that then realized they charged me about $15 extra dollars. I asked why and if I could just get the upgraded mani pedi so that I would get what I was charged for. They said no because they were almost closed (after I called and asked if it was still okay that I come in and they said yes) so the extra $15 was because two people had to work on me at the same time. I said I didn't want to get anything done since I was not told I had to pay more and nicely asked if they could just give me my money back. Requested buff manicure. Sign says ...'WALK IN's WELCOME .' Walked in. Was asked to sit at a station. The assistant started my nails. Another client came in and she got up with no explanation and another assistant sat down. Leah was friendly and did a buff job in less than 15 minutes! It was done quickly. Some nails look better than others. Came home and finished. It felt rushed! Not relaxing at all! Guess if you opt for no polish you're not considered a good client. Buff manicures are a choice. I've been getting my nails done for almost 20 years at this point and today was honestly THE WORST experience I have EVER had. I'm in tears in my car at how awful my pedicure was and still is and how much more I'm going to have to spend to have someone else fix it now. Everything from customer service to effort was just absolute trash. They even talked me out of what I wanted because they didn't want to do it by pestering me 7 f$@king times asking if I was sure I wanted to pay extra for the design. Someone else started on my hands until another customer walked in and then they just left my hand in a bowl of water and disappeared. The person doing my pedicure didn't even paint my nails up to the cuticle, they looked like I got them done 2 weeks ago the second she was done. I will never go back here. *Update* Added pictures of the job I did myself when I got home. Wtf did I pay $40 for? It's not perfect because I'm not a professional but holy shit it looks 10x's better. This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. After only one day the GEL! Polish started chipping. The French tip is also so bad and the shape of the nails are all uneven. The lady that did my nails was also extremely rude by asking if I wanted them shorter in which I said yes then she responded " WELL YOU NEED TO TELL ME". read more

I have gone here a few times and it's okay but it's close to my house so I deal with the weird attitudes and humor there. This last time however I brought my own gel polish and chrome powder to match my hands that I do myself.. they wanted to up charge me for each.. okay fine I won't argue over that. However the guy that was in the beginning on my pedicure cut me really bad on my skin.. not even the cuticle and idk how even did it. This irritated me and I decided to let them know I would paint them myself at home and just finish the basics of a pedicure. It was half assed.. no massage.. one hot towel just draped over the top of my legs for a second and pouring alcohol all over my huge cut. It stung for two days and I have a huge scab now. Don't even bother with this place. read more

Go somewhere else, I called and they told me for a regular pedicure it was $27, I didn't even pick a color. the nail tech added a callus remover it suddenly become $47 when she told me it was going to be $10 dollar extra when she started when it was time to pay she said that all of it became a "deluxe pedicure." before I left they did they to 2 different customers making no up up charges and they don't have their service prices listed. read more

Took my wife here for the first time right after Christmas and had she loved it so for Valentine's Day I got her a gift certificate for $125. Today she went in and said the service she received was not the same. She said the tech a seemed to be upset that she used her gift certificate and it seemed very rushed. Her coworker had warned her about this when she said I had gotten her the gift certificate. I was hoping I had found her a spot in town she liked but guess after the certificate we will be finding a new place to go. read more

I asked for french manicure with white hearts for Valentine's Day. The hearts looked ridiculous! They were upside down, didn't look like hearts, and the nail polish was so clumpy. She also cut me while cutting my cuticles. I really couldn't believe she let me walk out with those hearts. read more

I'm new to the area, stopped in for a pedicure not very busy I waited 10 minutes. I just wanted a basic pedicure because I'm going to the beach it's going to get messed up anyway, as soon as I said no to the deluxe she stopped smiling and pretty much threw some color on my toes. When you want #1 but walk out with #2! So frustrating especially when I showed Kathy my picture. I don't know if it's a language barrier or what. But this is the 2nd time that I have walked out of there disappointed. I even kept telling her what I wanted. Plus 2 of the nail colors changed! All of them are thick & shaped strange. And she didn't listen to me when I told her I wanted them long! She just did what she wanted. I hope they will fix it. If not, time to find a new salon...... (4-23-19 update) #3 Tony fixed my nails. He talked about me to another client, so rude! I wasn't charged. Apparently it's my fault that Kathy did the crappy job. Instead of apologizing about the s%*t service & moving on he put it on me!! As of Thursday March 26th I have lost the thumb nail on my left hand and the nails on my left index finger and left middle finger are lifting and preparing to pop off. If you look at the photos attached, you'll see the nail came off of my finger smoothly, there is no tearing of the natural nail because the nail did not come off from force but from improper application. All the loose nails are on my non dominant hand so it is not from misuse or strain. From the start of the appointment things weren't going well. When the manicurist, Kelly, was trying to glue the nails on, she was squeezing my fingers so tightly that they hurt and were turning bright red. She tried to cure the nail under the blue light but kept accidentally hitting it with my finger and turning it off. She was going in circles the entire appointment trying to keep the light on and turning it off. When she would finish with a nail she would use her nail to scrape the glue from my nail because since the nail was too wide it was being glued onto my skin. This was my first sign that she is inexperienced. When she finished with my right hand I looked at it and was horrified, two nails were visibly crooked. I said something and she just brushed me off and said that she would file them so they were not crooked. This makes no sense because the base of the nail will still be misaligned no matter how much you file. I expressed my concern again and she again brushed me off. When she got started on my left hand I expressed concern over the fact that the first nail she put on (pinky) was again crooked. She seemed frustrated and TORE THE NAIL OFF MY FINGER AGGRESSIVELY. I won't go into detail with the other concerns, you can see for yourself the unnatural pink, crooked nails, overly thick French tip, etc. To top it all off it took her almost two hours to apply the nails!! I sucked it up that they might not be visually what I wanted, paid, and left. But now that the nails are all lifting and coming off after only having them on for a week I had to write a review and warn others. I have had countless gel-x sets put on at Top Nail and have never encountered such poor technique and application. This was genuinely the worst manicure I have ever received. So disappointed and would NEVER recommend someone visit this salon. I genuinely would've been better with press ons from Target. This was a complete waste of two hours of my time and $75.

I requested a Deluxe gel pedicure ($40) but when I paid they said they had to add the gel ($55). It makes sense but I wish they had more transparency on their pricing. Another reason I am not giving them a higher rating is this last time I went, I did not enjoy my experience. The guy doing my nails complained that they were very fragile and broke off. Which is true, and I did not blame him for that, sometimes my nails break off easily, this is not the reason for my rating. The reason I gave a lower rating is 1) he decided to use super glue on my nail and 2) he cut me a few times. This is the first time someone has used super glue because my nails were fragile. Maybe he was trying to cover up something. Not sure. But the cuts he made hurt a lot. He didn't do my gel application, another nail tech did and when she would use acetone, it burned A LOT. And she had to file my nails a little more because the first guy missed some spots. The place overall is very clean and welcoming but I'm not sure if I will go back again.
