Truly a hidden gem with Milly. My hair has been through so many hands until today. See her work through the images posted previously. She knew how to work with my hair, gave me valuable and honest tips, and most of all she knows what she's doing. Greatly appreciative of her work and will definitely go back. From the get-go I was treated very nice from making first contact through Yelp this week to finalizing my payment today. read more

Update: The last time I had an appointment, when I walked in, my nail technician was backed up and was JUST starting a pedicure. I waited well over an hour before she finally started on me. I had somewhere to go, so I only had time for a manicure instead of the mani/pedi I had scheduled. This is the second time I had to wait for my appointment. But this time, I was made to wait even longer. I don't understand why the salon would call and confirm my appointment if they knew they were backed up. I would've been more understanding, had they given me a heads up before I showed up and wasted my time. I haven't been back since. read more

I came across Secret Nail Salon on Yelp a little over a week ago and decided to give them a try. I was able to schedule a same day appointment and was assigned to Ana. I was skeptical about having my nails done by her because I didn't see any of her work on their Instagram page. However, my experience there was phenomenal. Secret Nail Salon was good with having me in the chair by my appointment time and Ana delivered. I wanted New Year's Eve nails and she gave me just that. I have included a picture for you to see her work (it's over a week old now). Also, my fingers not being the cutest may take away from the pic but try to focus on her good work. I will definitely go back. read more

I absolutely love Secret Nail Salon. Tatiana is the NAIL GOD. She knows exactly what she's doing with my nails! I promise you there is no one that does gel like her. My nails are always breaking just cause I have weak nails and even so when they break, Tatiana files them and cleans them up so good that they even look nice short. I'm so happy every time I leave there. & the other ladies at the salon as well work very professional and do a great job. I recommend this salon to everyone who is reading this. read more

Secret Nail Salon - Short & still looking good thanks to Tatiana - Nail Salons Near Me - Hialeah, Florida

Social distancing no longer exists in this place. They wanted to sit me next to other ladies and I had to remind them about social distancing. Most ladies didn't have masks or had the masks under their nose and they had an employee sleeping on the couch. I got my nails done with Yanis which did a TERRIBLE job. She cut my hands all over the place and didn't want to remove cuticle correctly from my feet. She didn't want to give me a French because my nails are "too short". It seemed like she was learning how to do mani and pedis with how many times she pinched and cut me and when I asked her, she said she did the owners nails and she's diabetic... well thank god I'm not because I would've bled out. Stay away! read more

I've gotten mi nails done here 5-6 times and I usually love the place but you neeeeed to specify who you want doing your nails every single time. I've had amazing experiences with some nail specialists here and HORRIBLE ones with others. This last time was the worst, the manicurist was super rude and was constantly telling me what she wants to do with my own nails, constantly on the phone and being vulgar, she didn't even wait 15 minutes for my gel to fully finish peeling off with acetone and completely scraped my nails off because she didn't want to wait. I got these done Monday and yesterday they already chipped off 5 days later) The last time I went my gel lasted 3 weeks and I left extremely happy. Make sure you ask for someone good before throwing away your money and your time!!! read more

This salon truly has talented women working here. These young ladies are up to date with all the nail polish trends and are excited to give excellent service. Upon entering I was greeted by the Owner with a smiley face and was offered wine, soft drink, water or the Cuban cafecito. I opted for the wine of course (wink wink) The only problem in the salon is ... selecting a color from the large selection they have. Had a great massage pedicure and gel manicure. Found my new home! read more

Customers BEWARE !! This place has gone DOWN HILL !! Had the WORST experience!! Nails look like a CHILD did them!! And she cut my fingers and cuticles many painful times with spinning machine !!! I don't like giving bad reviews but I need to be honest about this place. I had an appointment when I arrived. I waited 30 minutes for my nails tech to attend me because she was applying eyelashes on 2 customers. I was already upset from the start because of the wait.. with an appointment. My nail tech was literally on her phone the entire time with her ear piece on. Having a conversation with someone else when I thought on several occasions she was talking to me. The staff and the owner were very nice and friendly, I can't take that away from them but the service I received was crap. My nails(acrylics) came out horrible. I told her I wanted the acrylic thin and the coffin shape thin. She did ombré, which also came out horrible. My nails were thick and the acrylic was bulging near my cuticle. The coffin shape was wide and the ombré was uneven in color. One nail was much brighter than the rest, which drove me crazy. I paid over $70, I think $85 with tip included and I was in the salon for 4 hours!!! My husband was furious because he was waiting for me at home and couldn't believe I was at a nail salon for that long. The salons I've been to before have taken max 2 hours and have given me great service. Needless to say, I never went back and don't plan to. read more

Terrible, especially for the prices that they charge. Yusilma whatever her name is cut my cuticles, didn't ask what shape I wanted them she simply just did it herself, she cut my nails super short when they were already medium/large. I am an esthetician and aware of how to clean the tools. Her tools were NOT properly sanitized. School teaches you to dip them in Barbicide not spray with alcohol. She didn't even have the chance to paint my nails. I left super unsatisfied and disappointed read more

I found this place on Yelp. I went based just on the reviews and i left the place very pleased! Niurka did my gel nails and regular pedicure and she did such a good job! Talia aka Talita did a great job with my nails. She was super detailed. I got the gel artificial nails which are a little more expensive than the acrylics and combined it with normal polish. She did a fine job for that and my pedicure and she made sure I was happy with the process and the results. Their acrylics start at $30 for super short and they go up from there. The pedicure is $25. And the gel nail extensions which is more expensive but less damaging on your nails (and faster) than the acrylics are usually $55. read more

Loved this place! Came in for a last minute walk in decision right before Thanksgiving and they were very accommodating. The staff is friendly and welcoming, they have a wide range of colors and the prices are your typical manicure and pedicure prices ($10 mani, $25 gel mani, and $20 pedicure). They have 4 pedicure stations and tons of manicure stations. The ambiance is relaxing and the place is clean, modern and well kept. My technician Tatiana did an excellent job! She was attentive to every detail and made sure I loved my nails before I left. Will definitely be back here! read more

Secret Nail Salon - Love my Gel Manicure by Tatiana! - Nail Salons Near Me - Hialeah, Florida

I use to go there, but stopped going. I realized, after a couple of years, that my manicurist was charging me more than others. The owner knew that she was doing that to her clients. I was left standing, twice, for hair services. The stylist said, both times, that they had over scheduled. Not a nice place where their friends are taken care of first without appointments. read more

I went in for an acrylic removal, gel mani & regular pedi. Every time I've gone to other places, the nail techs are very rude & hurt my nail. They don't consider that fact that nails are very sensitive & extremely brittle when removing acrylic. DUNIA SAVED MY NAILS. She didn't go crazy scraping off the acrylic & was super careful when filing them down. She offered me water, wine & asked me if the filing was hurting. She is extremely sweet & so are the other ladies at the salon. The owner Erik was very sweet as well. He offered to buy some pastelitos. Will DEFINITELY be back. The last couple times I came here I realized they gossip about their clients and give dirty looks at one another to talk bad about their clients. Some of the women are aggressive and don't know how to do designs. I overheard them talking about the owner having surgery done. Just about all of them are far from professional I quit being a regular here. It's hard finding someone you trust with your hands. The appointments are always backed up as well. Update: I just received a highly unprofessional message from an employee at this nail salon. Even more reason to avoid this place.... the message was "Hi Destiny i seen your review and we dont charge $24 dollars for acrylics . We charge are acrylics STARTING at $25 DEPENDING the length on the nails. We dont charge for shape honey. And of course that doesn't include any add on that you'd like. Try the Chinese maybe they will be cheaper and worse quality." I have actually been to places where Asian people do my nails and it has been MUCH better quality. I also never mentioned anything about shape in my review, but since it was brought up the shaping is uneven and I've had much better elsewhere. Also, the selection of colors was very small.... I've had better nail quality. And they charge for everything! Nail length is extra, glitter is extra, gel extra so don't let the $24 price for a full set fool you. I will not return... read more

Fake advertisement?? Apparently they're closed on Sunday's. On August 13, 2017; they weren't open for business as advertised everywhere. Plus, it's not like I popped in during lunch break, because I lingered around, checking out the plaza for an additional hour. Lol, really wanted to try this place out based on the reviews and I really needed a mani/pedi! I couldn't even review it myself; sadly. BUT, Thankfully, another business nearby who advertise they're hours truthfully and honestly, were able to give me the BEST NexGen Mani and Pedi! NOIRE Nail Salon & Spa! Best ever! And 5 mins away! This nail salon is the worst. I came here because of the great reviews. I have gone twice once for a manicure and second time for acrylic both times they have cut me not once but several time on both hands. There customer service is horrible. Instead of compensating me after I let the lady know that I usually never get cut she tells me that I should go to the other place where I don't get cut and blames me for the cuts on my hands. She said I had them when I came in. Then why is there fresh blood? I will never step foot in this salon again I suggest you save your money guys. AVOID! read more

Nail salons are always a hit and miss for me, this one was certainly a HIT. I waited until my second visit to the salon in order to post a review to make sure this gem was more than just fools gold. During a desperate search for a nail salon open on a Monday o stumbled upon Secret Nail Salon, which should be highlighted as one of the biggest perks of this establishment. I called ahead of time to ensure they had availability and experienced great costumer service and was assured a spot upon arrival. The person on the other end of the phone said I had been assigned to Mayelin, essentially the birth of a new relationship. Mayelin offered great customer service, impecable attention to detail, and a constant/ready ear for concerns and requests. I can honestly say that I have never had a nail tech be so mindful of my ideas and desires. This first visit definitely surpassed all expectations and though I forgot to take a picture of my new set of acrylics and I can ensure you I left with natural looking and perfectly shaped/painted nails. That manicure lasted over two weeks and survived impeccably throughout my trip to Aruba. Just today I went in for a refill and color change with Mayelin, this appointment yet again was made last minute on my part and the staff graciously accommodated for me. This time around the service and experience was no different than the last if not even better and this time around I did remember to take a picture. read more

Secret Nail Salon - Second visit: refill and color change (gel polish) - Nail Salons Near Me - Hialeah, Florida

I want to start off by saying my mother and I received excellent service and beautiful manicures and pedicures. The technicians are highly skilled and kind. The biggest reason I am rating this establishment a 3 is because of an incredibly racist comment by another technician who wasn't working on myself. I asked this woman if this particular salon did a type of nail shape, she said yes, we were talking back and fourth and it was all good until she said: "Yeah and if your nail breaks, you just come back and we'll fix it, you're paying for quality here not like those Chinese people." That was disgusting, RACIST, and shameful to hear, and doesn't make me feel like coming back. First, second, and third of all how can you generalize an entire nationality. Also so ignorant to boil down all Asian people to 'chinese.' We had such a great time up until that point, and I won't be returning. That's like me assuming you're Mexican because you're Latina. Grow up. It's going to be really easy to deny you made that remark, or deny it's racist impact, but just take responsibility and be a better human being please. I should have told you that was wrong the minute you said it, but I was honestly so shocked. read more
