I was really looking forward to my appointment, but unfortunately, my experience was frustrating from the start. After booking and paying a deposit, I received a call stating that the time and service was incorrectly scheduled. On top of that, I wasn't even asked about the service I selected (Color Package 4, the highest package) to ensure everything was set up correctly. To make matters worse, while I was initially able to book a later time online, I was then asked to come earlier. This was fine with me, and I was told the technician would stay, and we wouldn't finish until 11 PM. By this point, my hair (or myself) hadn't even been seen yet. I understand that prices can change, but this situation made it hard to enjoy the experience, especially as a busy mom who rarely has time to pamper herself. Additionally, while the website recommends a consultation, the call felt more like reading the rules on the site rather than a personalized conversation, which I did take the time to read as it has taken me some time to try and find a new salon that is closer to my home. Better communication and a more thoughtful approach would have gone a long way. Overall, I hope the business can improve its customer service and communication so clients feel valued before they even arrive. read more

Jocelyn is a wonderful stylist and very polite. Unfortunately I did have to look for a new salon. LMG calls to change my appointments 70-80% of the time. Appointments I make 3-6 months in advance. They request I change my appointment to accommodate other customers. I generally agree to change my appointment. Today I called to change tomorrow's appointment last minute because I was in the ER Sunday and my doctor called to see me tomorrow at 8am. My appointment was at 9am. They wouldn't even offer to give me 15min grace period which is pretty standard. I was charged the cancellation fee. I would be fine with this policy if I did not have to accommodated them by changing my appointments as often as I have over the 3-4 years I have been a customer at LMG. If they require customers to cancel appointments more than 24hrs in advance then they must do the same for customers. If they move customers around to fit it more appointments often then they should allow a one-time courtesy of allowing the customer to change the day before their appointment. I would recommend trying a salon which offers better customer service to long time customers before booking at LMG. read more

I had such an amazing experience with Jocelyn! She educated me on what she was doing from start to finish, and so caring about my anxiety with the unexpected thinning/foliage of my hair since December 2021 (currently getting better and growing--and this experience will only promote further growth, will be updating in 3 months or so). Jocelyn provided a beautiful cut, blowdried my hair, turned my hair into long layers, and gave me a beautiful wavey style to end. I am so happy with the end result! My hair feels so healthy, and her technique of cutting layers left me looking with the fullest look possible. Coming into this place for the first time I had absolutely no expectation. I came in for an eyebrow appointment with Jackiy and I had NO idea there was a whole other world in here! Even though I only came in for brows I absolutely loved all the hair stations and work of all the hairstylists. This is a small and cozy hair salon with a rustic chic touch. If you're coming here on the weekday after work or for a "me" day this place is great. They treat you to wine, coffee, water and there's even sweet treats for customers. My review is based on my overall experience but especially Jackiy and her amazing work. I came in just for a regular eyebrow shaping (wax/tweeze) and I was extremely happy with the results. I'm very excited to come back again! Also, I had my mom do microblading with her and from the consultation to the whole process she was AMAZING and on point. I've been getting my haircut here for about 8 months now. Nick is the best. It's a one hour session, no waiting, as Nick is always on time. You never feel rushed like at other shops and you always feel like you're getting the absolute best service. For me it's a big deal because I like keeping my appointments true to the original time and getting the most out of it. I ended up getting my hair done by someone a bit closer than me and he completely ruined my hair. He left it orange and damaged and I immediately went back to Natasha to fix it. I've been cutting my hair with Leslie (the owner of LMC), for about 4 years now. She's a master at what she does. I just recently decided to add color and dye my hair for the first time ever (virgin hair!) and was really anxious about it. Leslie really put me at ease and allowed me to put complete trust in her. My hair came out better than I could have imagined! Aside from how great of a person Leslie herself is, her salon is beautiful. The minute you walk in you feel so comfortable, like if you just walked into your best friend's apartment. The decor and ambiance is so cozy and stylish - she's really done a fantastic job at furnishing and designing everything. At LMC there's also a fantastic nail technician, Lin. I have usually always done my own mani and pedi myself and even have an at-home gel polish and lamp set to do my own gels. Yet, I still love doing my nails with Lin as often as possible. Probably one of the best salons I've been to, and I am VERY picky. I had virgin hair when I showed up and sat in Leslie's chair for a consultation and I was totally lost, but I knew I wanted an upgrade. She was so sweet and talented and recommended a look that could work well for me. Then I approached the front desk and they told me the next Saturday appointment was 4 months later! I chose to wait the four months and so happy that I did. I'm telling you, this place is worth the wait, and for me to say that is huge! Leslie is amazing at color and great at cut. I've never done my hair with Natasha, but all her clients look fab, so she's a safe bet too. I've had hairstyles done by a few of the gals, but my favorite is Alessandra (obviously apart from Leslie). **All hair services are reasonably priced** I've also done my eyebrows and makeup with Jackiy and she's FANTASTIC. She has been the magician and therapist taking my hair through 10 years of color changes, base changes, highlights, lowlights, extensions, cuts, trims, keratin treatments, you name it and she's done it. But she's completed every "mission" with ease and seems to sprinkle magical pixie dust on the way out. And I know there are hundreds of clients blessed like me to have Leslie work on their most prized possession. But girlfriend, book in advance!! If you can't get Leslie no fear, Natasha's coloring skills are better than DaVinci, of course cause she was taught by the best! They make you feel very comfortable by offering you coffee, wine, or water upon our arrival while you wait for your appointment. When you call to book, you might be taken aback when they inform you that they're booked for a while. Make the appointment and be patient. I just realized I have been waiting for MONTHS for LMG to contact me about an appt, and I've still yet to receive any sort of communication from them. The first time I came here, I was with a stylist who is no longer with LMG. I was happy with the end result, and came back one more time for a toner and cut. Again, happy with my result. However, I had an appt. for the end of July or beginning of August last year and a few weeks before that, my stylist announced she was leaving. The salon called me to try and arrange an appt for her last week, but that was not convenient for me. I said I'd be happy to make another appt. with one of the other stylists there. A month went by and nothing. I called them and was told that my name was put on "a list" along with my availability (which is pretty open) and that I would be called when one of the other stylists had a cancellation. I didn't like such uncertainty, so I asked if I could just simply make an appt. with one of them for the future. I was told they were not taking any new appointments. A little confused at this method, I hung up and waited. Another month went by; still no call. When I called again, I was given the runaround and basically told the same thing. I gave up and eventually found another hair stylist. This place has had its success in part thanks to word of mouth and social media, but their customer service sucks and, frankly, I don't think they know what they're doing on that end. It's a bunch of young girls at the front desk who have clearly never had any other sort of experience in customer service. I gave two stars because I was satisfied with my result, but almost 7 months after I was told I'd "get a call", I still haven't heard from anyone at the salon. Ridiculous. read more

I've never experienced anything like this before. The rude behavior was unbelievable and unnecessary. I went in to have a full balayage done which is something that I have had done many times in the past. I asked for a (cool toned) blonde balayage and my hair turned out GOLD. With the lighting inside of the salon, it was hard to tell. I called to request to have it re-toned and the stylist Ana was mad. As soon as I walked in she looked at me crudely. As a hairstylist you should never take things that personally especially if it is fixable. I paid over $270 to have my hair colored, I should be happy with the result. Even another one of the stylists also said my hair looked very warm. Ana only re-foiled the front and back of my hair when I said that I was most concerned about the middle. She was able to achieve the color that I wanted on the parts that she colored, which goes to show that my complaint wasn't irrational. She only blow dried the front of my hair and said I was done while she left the rest of my hair soaking wet. Please do yourself a favor and don't book Ana. You deserve better. read more

It was my first time ever dying my hair (at 30 years old!), and I felt very comfortable with Natasha. I ended up dying my roots and doing balayage, a cut - a good 5 inches - and style as well. After jumping around from place to place and having horrible service I found Jackiy and I now have eyebrows again. I called to make an appointment for a haircut and got put on hold when I told the receptionist I was a new client looking to book an appointment with any of the stylists (as I have not been to this salon before). I also told her I have a very flexible schedule and I would take any available spot. She asked what kind of haircut and I told her my hair was very long so I wanted to trim a few inches off of the length as well as add some layers. She put me on hold again and then came back and said I'm just going to take down your information and we will call you once we know where you'll fit in the schedule. I gave my info and never received a call back. I took it as them blowing off a potential new client and after reading the most recent review, it seems I'm not the only one this has happened to. I understand with COVID there may be difficulties but none of that was stated to me. I don't understand what the difficulty was in booking me with any stylist, any time in the future.
