We were visiting this area from CA and were told to make sure we stopped here. Wanted to experience the Fort Worth Stockyard. This place was just what we were looking for. Our bartender, Ashlynn, was so welcoming and spent a lot of time telling us the history of the bar and brewery. This place is decorated like an old Western Bar. It was so fun. We stayed there for over an hour and then walked over to the area attached to the bar that had a Country Singer playing. We sat and listened to him until he was done with his set. Really great place. We didn't get to have any food as we had already made reservations elsewhere. Next time , for sure. Thanks again to Ashlynn for being so accommodating.

The beer? Okay at best. Probably better described as average. Given the location I thought there would be more competition around on that front but there doesn't seem to be. I did not have any food here so I cannot comment on that side of things. The real attraction is just that the place looks amazing and when you are inside the main area it feels almost like you are outside. The stage is the center point and I'm a sucker for a local country singer. On those measurements, this place was amazing.

Stopped by as an out of towner during lunch last week. The food is ordered at a window and then you get a pager. Everyone's wings were really tasty. Unfortunately I was in town for work so I didn't get to try the beers. The live entertainment was also great and he was super friendly.

This place had nice ambience. The place had live music and chill vibes. There was even a table with swing chairs all around it. The musician was good and I appreciated the sound level. It was loud enough to hear and enjoy but wasn't so loud that you are having to scream over the music to be heard. They had a couple different opinions for food with separate lines for the separate places. I decided to go with the chicken wings. It came with French fries which I appreciated. The wings were really good and crispy. A little more expensive than I hoped but nothing too crazy.

Second Rodeo Brewing in Fort Worth, Texas, was a great experience overall. The place is huge and immediately feels welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the visit enjoyable from the start. We only tried the drinks, and my favorite by far was the Purple Drank -- definitely a standout. Although we didn't order food, we saw several dishes come out and everyone around us seemed to really be enjoying their meals. The atmosphere was excellent, with live music adding to the energy and vibe of the space. Overall, it's a great spot to hang out, enjoy drinks, and soak in a fun Fort Worth atmosphere.

Very cool looking and huge brewery in the heart of Forth Worth. It was a hot afternoon so we stopped here to get a beer. Unfortunately my beer felt flat and with not much flavor (no CO2 perhaps). They have great decor all around. The bathrooms art is super funny and enternaining. Service was ok.

Went with my coworkers and had a great time! Very spacious layout inside & out. Awesome patio where can order food and drinks (Hooch per the sign!). Service was attentive and efficient. Menu is short but the burger and fries hit the spot and it was so flavorful. The loaded fries were extra delicious with a side of spicy ranch. Beef nachos are large and definitely shareable.

Great vibe and indoor and outdoor space. Constant live music that hits the spot. Down in Mule Alley in the stockyards. Park far away and walk down. Otherwise it will cost $25 for parking. Stuff on tap is good. Pub food is decent. Bartenders are proficient. If you want a great meal this isn't it, but it is a good place to go with friends for drinks and snacks.

Dinner at the Stockyards in the great city of Fort Worth. What do you expect? Live music? Beers? A great backyard or patio space? I think Second Rodeo Brewing is the only place that truly delivers on that third one. I'll make this review simple. Let's start with the atmosphere. It deserves the highest praise and is the reason I'm even writing this. The space is absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of outdoor, indoor, and hybrid seating. You can be as present with nature as you want. It was a decently cool evening in Fort Worth, so the hybrid space felt very comfortable. There's tons of seating for groups of all sizes. I have to mention the beer. It is a brewery, all things considered. I got a tall of their Roll Dog Amber, and I thought it was pretty good. I don't think I'd ever seek it out unless I was at SRB, but it did what an amber should do. It had a solid maltiness. Did I mention the atmosphere? Outside, there was a beautiful creek filled with turtles. Isn't that sick? Above the stage, a bunch of acoustic guitars, fiddles, and other string instruments were hanging as decoration. One of the cases belonged to Asleep at the Wheel, who I hope plays ACL one year. The only issue I had with the place was the food. They had two different food stations. One focused on burgers, and the other focused on chicken and wings. I considered the wings, but I ended up going for a Philly cheesesteak. At first glance, it looked fantastic. Melted cheese, beef, sautéed peppers--the whole nine yards. But man, that beef had no flavor. It tasted like my grandma was cooking chili. What a travesty. If they stepped up their food game, this place would be a perfect five out of five. But the tragic beef knocked it down a peg. Also, they use a weird soda brand. Not even Maine Root. Something totally unfamiliar. What's going on here? To close, I want to mention once again how great the atmosphere is, in case I haven't already. With oil cans hanging from the ceiling and décor that welcomes you to Fort Worth, the experience is more than worth it.

This spot was so cute and I'm sure very fun on the weekends. They have a huge back yard with tons of seating and a lil food window. I forgot what it was called and the name of our hoagie but it was steak and it was bomb. this is a super cool spot and if you find yourself in Fort Worth don't seat this one out! Even on a week day they do live music. Didn't try any drinks but dang they had some funnnnnnnn one's

I visited Second Rodeo Brewing in the Stockyards on a Saturday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I love the atmosphere! Right after I arrived, a live band started playing and they've got a great open air space to enjoy the music. Food is available and the beer is excellent! The service is outstanding all around. You can't go wrong at Second Rodeo Brewing!

This place is so freaking cool! Awesome ambiance. I love the decor, hanging guitars to graffiti art to lights dangling. I did not see if there was a different indoors menu or if everyone orders from the same spot. So in reference to the "outdoor " patio area where live music is played every day, the food options are similar to fast food / bar food. Which is perfect for this location. Could be a perfect friends hang out night, to date night or day time visit! Quite frankly, it's perfect anytime given that live music is played 2 or 3 times a day. Such a spacious place. Staff is so friendly. I cannot wait to come back! read more

Extremely disappointing. I love checking out different breweries ordering a flight of different beers sitting with friends and relaxing Let's start with there is no direction except find your own seat. Not a big deal you would think except we didn't have a license plate on the table that gives you some vague idea that there are no servers. Every time you want something you have to go to the bar and order and hopefully it isn't crowded. Want food go outside stand in line to order less than average food. You received a buzzer to return stand in line to pick up your food. It was underwhelming don't feel the need to ever go back. To many other great places to go. read more

I'm not in the Stockyards often enough, but the last two time we've dropped in here. It can be crowded on weekends. There's an inside bar area, an atrium and a patio area that borders a gulch that has been converted into a scenic walking area. You'd never know it's there if you walk down Exchange. It was hot out, but they had evaporative coolers in the atrium making it pleasant. There was a guitarist who was good, not overly loud, playing more blues than country. Barkeeps we're friendly and there are good mixed drinks and lots of brewed suds. We usually dine elsewhere but they have wings and other pub foods. read more

In a word...AMAZING! My husband's company Christmas party was here last night. The food provided...so good, the cocktails and beers...perfect and the entertainment and venue itself...I mean...WOW! There are 3 areas to chillin. Upstairs, downstairs front and downstairs back. All different and each have bars. All their bases are covered. The food is ordered at the windows like eating at a food truck and your seats vary from benches, high top bar sets or the bed of an old Ford truck! Very cool setting and I highly recommend on a night out! We plan on going back on date nights. Order the nachos! read more

Nice atmosphere, good but expensive food, and good band. Only thing lacking was the service from the woman at the window taking food orders at the nacho/Philly steak window. She needs to be replaced or a sign put up warning customers of her nasty attitude. read more

Loved the atmosphere and the live music; however I was extremely disappointed when I went to get a drink and they told me they were no longer aloud to make ranch waters due to the "vision". I was told I could have tonic water and tequila, but they were not aloud to use the lime/ lime juice! I was then offered a drink on tap, but unfortunately it tasted like a watered down limeade. Not sure what "vision" eliminates lime juice in TEXAS, but it ruined the potential for an awesome experience. Thankfully next door at Paloma Suerte you can get an amazing ranch water! read more

Talk about a great place to meet with friends and have a great time! I anxiously awaited the opening of this FW Stockyards brewery and boy they did not disappoint. This funky Cowtown establishment has it all. From the delicious German style beers to the bottled mixed drinks, you won't be disappointed by the array of choices. The food menu is somewhat limited but who cares? Sit down in a lawn chair or a converted pick up truck bed table and soak in the atmosphere. And talk about friendly service. The barkeeps were knowledgeable about the drinks and were happy to give you a sample of their beers made on site. Checking out a tab was quick and simple at any of the bars. Great service and a very tasty simple menu. Either marinated rib eye or chicken I loaded anchors in a hoagie for a Texas style cheese steak. Either way you go you win. Wings were okay.. the only reason we got the Texas Cherry Cola wings were for the pop rocks on top and they didn't tell us they were out of pop rocks until we got our food. The beer was decent and the Trunkyard area was cute! read more

So, let me start by saying that the atmosphere is cool. The outdoor patio is awesome. However, I'd say that's where the good times stop. We ordered a Frose, and 2 house IPAs. The frose was overly sweet, and the IPAs were terrible. I hate to say that, but they were overly bitter, with a one-dimensional crystal malt flavor. It's borderline brown in color. And the hops are lacking in aroma and flavor. It's almost dirty tasting. Then on to the food. We ordered 3 sets of wings. PB&J, pineapple Sriacha, and dry wings with a side of black garlic bbq and mojo. We got 4 sets of wings, which seemed to be a great bonus. Not so. The PB&J were mixed with mojo. Like they accidentally did mojo, then tried to cover it up. And it was disgusting. We did get a side of the PB&J, and I couldn't taste anything but peanut butter. No bacon, no jalapeño. The mojo was straight up cilantro. But the bitter side of the cilantro. That's all I could taste. They didn't bother to tell us they were out of the Black Garlic BBQ, so we didn't get that. But then we got the Buffalo and Pineapple Sriracha. Not what we ordered at all. And all of them were not good. The Pineapple Sriracha was basically canned chunked pineapple. The Buffalo was actually really good. Best thing we ordered. We also got a Philly cheesesteak. The mix and seasoning was great. Awesome flavor. But once you take a bite, all you get is bread. Can't really taste anything else. All in all, not impressed. Hope the feedback is helpful. read more

Awesome place with an awesome concept. Beer and drinks are all really good as well. Only downside is the little kitchen they have only offer about 5 dishes. I had the ribeye nachos but it was nothing like I expected. It was more Philly cheese steak in top of chips. Nothing spectacular but they were edible. I would suggest eating before you came. read more

This is my nightcap spot after a fun night at Billy Bob's or Thirsty Armadillo. The atmosphere never disappoints. Always a great crowd, great music, and tasty brews to enjoy. Fun outdoor games all around with a 4 prong mega Jenga that's way less challenging than the 3 prong mega Jenga. Me and my friend literally maxed out the board. Big space with a good mix of people from many different walks of life. Go check them out! read more

I just love this place! Great beer, delicious chicken wings, country music and at least one or two adorable and friendly dog encounters while out on the back patio. I also have to mention that the bathroom decor in the ladies room is the most entertaining I have ever experienced. I won't spoil it for you, but make sure to use the loo before you leave. read more

This was actually my 1st rodeo - at second rodeo.....Super hip brewery in the Stockyards. It is an experience just walking in. Big, creatively decorated indoor space that has great energy. Huge bar, and plenty of space inside. Great for big groups. And THAT PATIO! The music venue on the patio is so cool. Almost always a live performer. Really awesome place to hang. and the beer is solid! Drink local! read more

Drinks were good, but service is awful. Even after attempting to get at least one of three bartenders attention on an extremely slow Monday afternoon where 5 tables were full, we waited 30 minutes to get the tab. I'll never return again, as to the bartenders are too just conversing with one another to care about customers. read more

Second Rodeo Brewing is a great place. I recommend you try their oatmeal stout. The kitchen at the brewery offered a quality simple menu made of Philly cheese steaks and nachos. I had a ribeye Philly cheese steak and it was good and had nice spice to it. Great part of the brewery is the live country music they offer, I recommend you head to the second floor as watch from the balcony seating area. read more

Such a fun place. My son loved the pop rock wings, what a fun concept and we shared some Philly cheese steak nachos. Beer and cocktail choices were also great. Loved that its dog-friendly, live music, and with it being so large felt it was very covid safe. It was nice to get away from the crowds for a bit and relax. I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your establishment. I have been a loyal customer for over a year, visiting every weekend. However, during my last visit, I was denied entry due to my ID "not looking like me." I am of legal drinking age and have recently highlighted my hair, which may have caused the discrepancy. This made me feel belittled and embarrassed, especially since Second Rodeo Brewing is my favorite bar. As a result, I no longer feel comfortable or welcomed at your establishment. I had to Uber home alone, which is not ideal for me as a young woman. I understand the need to verify identification, but I believe this could have been handled more respectfully. I hope you can address this issue to prevent similar incidents in the future. read more

Really love the atmosphere and the ambiance is great. I as well love the live music. However for a place of this caliber in aesthetics; I was highly disappointed in the food. It was very lacking in both taste and options. It would be a much better venue if along with the great, scene, live music, and beer there was waaaaaaay more options of food to eat. I wanted to plan a night out there for a celebration/ birthday but I specifically chose not to because theres only like 2 options for what to eat there for my guests and those options are only a 6/10 taste IMHO.
