My favourite place in town. I like their spicy noodles and all the soups. I take my kiddo with new and he likes it a lot too.

Bahn Mi Nhon Hoa - Seafood bread dish and egg rolls with meat and salad rolls

Bahn Mi Nhon Hoa

The food was pretty delicious here compared to other establishments in the area. I didn't go to all…read morethe restaurants either but the people at Bahn Mi Nhon Hoa were pleasant and the bubble tea juice slushy was flavourful. I think it's real fruit but theirs also powder sugary items too. The avocado bubble tea was delicious. And then my friend and I tried 3 different items and the waitress served them on different dishes and put them in the middle of the restaurant table. The best out of those 3 items was the Salad Roll and the savoury brown sweet sauce and then the item on the far left of the picture I took, a type of seafood fish bread. The middle item was like an egg roll with some sort of meat, probably chicken or pork in the middle. It was good but the oils were too thick and soaked into everything. The oily greasy element hurt my stomach and gave me a small headache so I can't say I enjoyed it thoroughly but taste wise it probably would satisfy someone. My friend seemed to like everything but we didn't finish that dish first. The place is kind of small but the menu is efficiently full of different types of dishes. I recommend ordering from here atleast once.

Hubs and I shared chicken satay sub ($7), Peachy colada (fresh fruit bubble tea $6), beef salad rolls ($8), and Pho ($12). Everything was delicious! The salad roll dipping sauce was sweeter than I am used to and less peanut based. Still good - just different. All of their bubble teas are fresh fruit based which makes this Mom very happy. They can also do a dairy free option. Of course the bread and butter here are the delicious subs! Bread is baked in house daily and oh so perfect. I can't wait to go back and try a different sub, the spicy noodle soup, and a vermicelli bowl!

They've updated the space and given it a bright cafe feel with 12 tables and bench seating along the walls. The aromas were heavenly from the moment we walked in, the instrumental music played softly, and a waterfall by the door trickled calmly. We were greeted by the young owner and chef, Cathy. They are offering a free appetizer for the month of March with a minimum purchase. The menu is a bit sparse currently but she noted that a full menu will be coming shortly. We opted for the following: Large Spicy Beef Noodle Soup for $11.95 - raw beef steak, shank, and pork sausage. Hubs devoured this - flavorful and filing. The normal plate of bean sprouts, basil, and hot pepper also had mint and culantro. The noodles used in this dish are of a thicker variety. The spice was good but we could easily handle more. There is sriracha on the table and they will bring you additional options such as hot chili oil. Charbroiled Lemon Grass Beef for $11.95 - on vermicelli or rice with 2 spring rolls. Clean cuts of meat (she brought some chicken because they were didn't have enough beef). Lovely spring rolls and dichon (?) and mint instead of usual basil. Shrimp & Pork salad rolls for free today (regularly $6). The shrimp were the LARGEST I've ever had in a salad roll aside from when we make them at home. I appreciated that the order came with 2 ramekins of peanut satay sauce. The pork was lightly BBQ'd. Oh and tea is included here - two thumbs up. Dana - you reading this? ;-) We will most definitely be back and look forward to seeing what new additions will pop up on the menu! (Fingers crosses for a Spicy Satay Pho!)

The service was quick and dependable as usual. The pho and bun bo hue tasted good. The salad rolls were decent and they ran out of the dumplings wrapped in banana leaf so i and to order them without the banana leaf wrapper. I noticed nearly every table had ordered a plate of the deep fried chicken wings so I got one too. It was a little spicy but had a sweet after taste. They were fried well and tasted good. I was satisfied with my meal and everything was good like it always is.

We came just before the lunch rush on the weekend so we had more seating options to choose from. Wait time wasn't too long for food. But I only saw one guy waiting on all the tables and a woman popping in and out to serve food from the kitchen, so that's understandable. We ordered the Green Onion Pancake and the Bun Bo Hue without pork. The Green Onion Pancake was fluffy, flavorful, and tasty. And the Bun Bo Hue was so delicious. The broth was light but still very good and flavorful too. There was a good amount of beef pieces and all the veggies tasted crunchy and fresh. Everything we ordered was fantastic. And the service was even better. We were greeted warmly, were always checked on, and we even shared part of our culture with the man serving us. I will never forget the way we were treated and how down to earth he was. This was the first time I was here but it definitely won't be the last. Thank you for taking care of us!
