Horrible customer service. They don't know what they're doing in terms of delivering a good service to customers. I was told my sunglasses would be able to be replaced with subscription lenses, of course that's not the case, they never gave me a refund until I called them out on it claiming "they can't give a refund without a physical card present" .... But then ended up giving me a refund 10 mins later when i was going to dispute the charges with my credit card. Absolute garbage. They keep making comments without spending a minute of effort to find out facts. You'd think they'd apologize or offer a discount for their errors, nothing. read more

On New Year's Eve I ran over my glasses with my car, the lenses popped out and frame was bent. I went back to Seaview eyewear, where I had originally purchased them in hopes they had the same frame. They didn't because they were a discontinued model, but Mr. Savage was able to work his magic on my bent frame! He gave great customer service, and I'll be back next time I need glasses. I highly recommend this shop for your sunglasses needs. The store has a wide variety of brands and styles. Our saleswoman, Kristen, was awesome. She was very pleasant and let us try on as many pairs of sunglasses as We wanted. I told her that I wanted a pair of polarized lenses and she recommended Maui Jim. She said she bought a pair and loves them. Luckily this location had several modern styles of MJ's. I had only been familiar with the "fishing" style of sunglasses until now. I was torn between an oversized black lens and a squared off titanium aviator style. I ended up going with the titanium aviator pair. My reasons were that they would be most practical for my active lifestyle. Our saleswoman, Kristen, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciated her attentiveness and product knowledge. I stopped by on a weekend to have some glasses adjusted because they were constantly giving me headaches. I had my first experience at Real eyes just over two years ago. I stumbled in just walking down the Ave not really looking to buy any glasses. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. I found a pair of Ray Bans that were stylistically different from other Ray Bans I have seen and actually something I would not have thought of for myself. After trying them on the fit my head very well and looked well on me which I did not expect. Since this experience I suggested my girlfriend (who wears prescription glasses and loves sunglasses) as well as many others to check out the store. Everyone I have sent in has had the same experience as myself. I recently took one of my daughters in to get new contacts. This is the first time we have taken her outside of the store we have been going to for almost a decade. It was very easy, the contacts arrived quickly and our daughter had fun. I had gotten many glasses from here over the years. Even though they are very high priced, I like the service and I am a very loyal customer to establishments. I came in at the beginning of December wanting a pair of sunglasses. I made it very clear to the saleswoman that i had a very small window of time to put the purchase on a healthcare Visa that was about to run out. The saleswoman was given the card, but we did not complete the purchase because we agreed that I should update my prescription and get my eyes checked. So we rushed to get an appointment with the doctor. Our agreement was that the purchase would be finalized once the new prescription was attained from the eye doctor - which it was a week later. The glasses order was put through. BUT - When I picked up the glasses, they gave me the glasses, but said it looked like there was a balance due. I said that there should be 0$ balance and they said, ok, we will check with Rene (the sales woman). Shortly after they called and said that there was a balance of $485. Of course I was very upset. I said, that must be a mistake. The next day Rene called me and basically said I was lying and that I never gave her the card - my sister was with me and remembered her taking the card. I asked her to go back and check her records. But then the owner Dennis phoned, yelling at me, he called me a LIAR and a THIEF repeatedly. He got a very threatening tone, said they were going to take legal action. He was extremely rude. I asked him if he checked his records for the payment and he assured me that they did. And that 'there was definitely no payment' from me. I said I was going to check my credit card records. I found the proof of payment on my credit card and sent it to Dennis. I never received a thank you, an apology or any form of amends. He was awfully quick to call and be nasty. But could not make one tiny effort to admit their mistake and wrongdoing. This was unbelievable, unprofessional behavior from a business owner. Trust me - you do not want to get involved with these lying thugs who have ZERO concept of customer loyalty and have no idea how to honor their word. Without integrity, a business has nothing. read more

Very conveniently little eyeglass store right in downtown Delray. My mom needed to get new glasses so off we went with some existing frames she had and her prescription in hand. The store only has a staff of 2, the lady up front and the eye doctor in the back. They were both very helpful and very nice. The price was also reasonable for bifocals and transitions lens. The glasses were ready in a little under a week and my mom is very happy with them. When I need new glasses I will be going back. read more

Their prices are great. The white lady with the dark hair was very rude and uninviting. I walked in after work at 5:50 when they close at 6. I was going to buy some expensive glasses I've kept an eye on. She told me they closed at 6 and was giving me a lot of attitude. I was very impressed by the fact that they explained all the equipment and charges that were outside the groupon and gave me a no-pressure opportunity to decide if I wanted the services. I wanted to get my girlfriend a new pair of glasses. We stopped at this optical store in downtown Delray to get an idea of selection and price. We stopped here thinking they would be over priced but we liked what we saw in the window, so we were just browsing. Long story short, 30 minutes later she was walking out with new sun glasses. The knowledgeable staff Explained patiently about the different lenses for the sun, they had a great selection and their prices were very reasonable, the best part was they gave us an extra discount because of her health insurance.
