I have been raised if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. I always read reviews, but these reviews were dated, I believe eight months ago and they were all positive. Maybe ownership changed?? I'll know more when I do my Google review read more

The nicest staff , the Doctor was very knowledgeable and gave a complete exam . Melissa at the front desk was super helpful picking out new frames . I went with her suggestion and love them . The owner was also very professional and explained everything . I was worried when I realized it was a new owner and staff . They could not have been better . Very pleased read more

Besides getting a thorough exam and glasses I can see perfectly out of, I had an incident where I had something in my left eye. It was an emergency and she took me right away and found a thread in my eye and took it out. She prescribed me steroid drops and will see me again. She has a great chair side manner and it's very knowledgeable and empathetic about eye troubles. read more

Owner is rude and very poor customer service. He yelled at me for asking to speak to the Eye Dr. Find another Optical location. This owner doesn't deserve your business. read more

Got my annual eye exam here....seemed like standard exam. Dr asked if I wanted my eyes dilated, which I respond no since I was driving. Found out that my insurance was charged for complete exam including dilation. Ordered my new glasses at Costco where I always get them, and the technician stated that my stigmatism was missing from RX‍. Went ahead and ordered glasses and sure enough I can't see correctly . Now I have to get a new exam but thankfully Costco will redo at no charge. read more

Coconut Creek Optical - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Coconut Creek, Florida

I had the most amazing experience at this business, I managed to mangle another pair of glasses and before I could explain to Mr. Goldsmith that I didn't even buy them from here, he accepted my glasses, walked them to the back and proceeded to perform some kind of magic on my glasses. About 30 seconds later he had fixed them back to perfect, like brand new. Of course it wasn't really magic, it was skill and experience for sure. My offer to pay for the service was deemed unnecessary, thank you for your kind service Mr. Goldsmith. The shop also has a huge inventory of great frames so when I destroy my glasses again I'll be sure to visit Coconut Creek Optical for replacements. read more

I was in Florida when my glasses broke. Went to Coconut Creek Optical where Janis patiently sat with me, showing me dozens of frames until we found the one that suited me. Rob measured things up and took great care of me. My glasses came out perfectly. I couldn't ask for more professional service. This small company is a giant in my eyes. I will continue to use them long distance. They literally go that extra mile for you. Love them. read more

I highly recommend this store. Family owned and operated, they really take care of you. From your eye exam to helping in selecting the right frames and explaining your insurance benefits. great to see a mom and pop doing well with all those big box optical companies around. Very easy to get to, right off the sawgrass expwy at lyons road. read more

For so many years I have had the pleasure of dealing with Janice and Rob at Coconut Creek Optical. This quality and caring couple make the grueling task of picking out and maintaining glasses so stress free. I would highly recommend them for all who are near their Coconut Creek location. You won't find a finer establishmen and service!! read more

I did not have a pleasant experience using coconut creek optical. Though the eye doctor was very pleasant. I didn't feel the exam was as thorough as I was used to receiving from other eye care centers, and the folks at the front were not very nice and rude. I have never posted a negative review before but I was so unhappy with my interaction I felt I needed to state something. read more

I have used Coconut Creek Optical for my glasses and contacts for years. I broke my frames (my fault) so I went in thinking this was going to cost me a fortune. Janis and Rob (the owners) were able to find beautiful frames that fit my expensive progressive lens. They saved me so much money! The store is clean, safe and following all CDC regulations. I definitely recommend Coconut Creek Optical! read more

I was looking for a place to get my 7 year old daughter's eyes examined, as she told me she was having trouble reading the board in school. Found this place online, called and they take my insurance, so I made an appointment. Best decision I could have made. Always greeted with a smile, they are very welcoming and were very nice to me and my family. Ended up getting glasses for my wife here as well. Last week, my daughter broke the arm off her glasses. I returned to the store, proverbial checkbook in hand, to get the glasses repair. They repaired the glasses at no charge, re-adjusted them to make sure they fit my daughter perfectly.. and when Rob noticed the glasses weren't quite fitting in her glass case, he provided her a new one that would protect the glasses. While I myself don't need glasses (LASIK surgery years ago), I'll be bringing my daughter and wife here for all future eye-related things! read more

I have been been going to Coconut Creek Optical for many years !! Won't go anywhere else. Rob and Janice are super friendly and accommodating. Both of my children go there as well .We all are very satisfied with the service they provide! read more

I developed an eye infection that I had for over a week and the OTC eye drops were not working. On Monday I showed up at Coconut Creek Optical without an appointment. The lady advised that Dr. Marder had an appointment, but she would see if he could squeeze me in. He saw me and took me in right away. The visit was quick and efficient. Turns out I had pink eye. He was as always very pleasant and helpful. He prescribed eye drops, which helped alleviate my pink eye right away. I am so grateful to him, because I was miserable. I feel a lot better. What I liked was that he saw me without an appointment. My family has been going to his office for several years and are very happy with the service. the employees that work there are a little somber, but helpful. read more

I have been a patient of Coconut Creek Optical since I was a kid. They have the best selection of glasses especially for my age. The owners are super helpful and gave me great ideas for the best glasses for my shape face. I highly recommend this place! read more

I did not even get to visit the location. It is a perfect location as I attend the dentist and dr office right next door. However when I attempted to make an appointment for a family of 4 three weeks from today they refused me. Stated I had to split up the appointments and on do two one day and two another day. This is ridiculous as a mother who works full time kids have after school activities I try to do all doctor's appointments in one day. I do not have time to split up. When I asked if this is a personal preference or insurance issue they stated person preference as people have missed appointments and made them wait around for hours. You should not penalize others because your business chose to not take a no show fee or because of others. I would have showed up or cancelled the appointments in a timely manner should things have changed read more

This store is Amazing. They are so friendly and professional. The staff was very patient when I was trying on so many frames until they found me the right one that looks great. They were extremely helpful when getting my lenses as well. They explained all the different options that would best fit my needs. The service in this store is very personal. Absolutely would go back again and again. One more important thing. This place was spotless. read more

This is the only place I go to for my glasses. They have the best selection and are so friendly and knowledgeable. I always know I will get the best advice on the style of my glasses and they always carry the newest styles. Such a difference than going to a big, corporate place. Five stars!! read more

I had to get some prescription sunglasses for a trip, and finally hadthe chance to stop in and im glad I did! Nice people to deal with, and great selection of sunglasses! Quick service too, I will definitely be stopping in again! read more

Coconut Creek Optical has a great selection and very friendly and accommodating staff. They helped me pick out my new pair of frames and didn't try to get me to buy the more expensive frames. Some places try to force you to pay the most, but they explained the differences in the frames and let me decide. I went back a few weeks after I got my new glasses, since I wasn't sure they were adjusted right. It turns out everything had been okay, but they were so courteous and nice and just wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. They have a great variety of glasses to choose from and you won't find nicer and more trustworthy people anywhere else! read more

I'm not one for going to doctors, dentists, and eye doctors. The place is great from my exam to picking out my frames they were all great. The owners are fantastic, are very helpful, and make great suggestions. It was like sitting with 2 friends talking. I really enjoyed my experience at Coconut Creek Optical read more

I had a great experience with Rob at Coconut Creek optical. He was very helpful and patient with me (I'm very indecisive when it comes picking out frames). The doctor was also good. There was a small issue with my lenses, and Rob went above and beyond to make it right. I will definitely be going back the next time I need glasses! read more

Called on the first of the month to have my prescription sent to a new eye doctor (I moved states). At the end of the week, I had called to confirm my prescription was faxed, it was not sent. I requested to please fax the prescription again and a few days later found that it was not received by my new eye doctor. Needless to say it has been 10 days since I called the original time. Very frustrating to order $300 glasses and not be able to wear them, especially when you have an office job and wearing contacts every day becomes uncomfortable. Still in the process of having them fax my information. Communication was very poor, despite the fact I have had to call 5 times. Would have been nice to receive a call back from them confirming the sent prescription, or better, a call to the new eye doctor so that I would not have to keep interrupting my work scheduled to be the middle-man. read more

My husband and I went to coconut creek optical to get glasses for our 1 year old baby girl. Janice and Bob were nice to us at the beginning and once we picked a framed they were pushy for us to get the lenses through them instead of using our insurance, we thought that was a little sketchy but paid no major attention to that. Once they sent the frame to the insurance lab to get the lenses done, the lab lost the frame. We completely understand that was the lab's fault and not coconut creek optical; however, after 2 weeks of knowing this and not reporting it to us and being requested by the insurance to send another frame and being assured they will get Reimburse for the one they lost, they REFUSED to do it and rejected any calls or possible solutions from the insurance company leaving my baby without glasses just because, I quote Bob's words "frankly, I want them to look for the frame a little longer" meanwhile my baby is still in need of glasses that we already paid for. In conclusion they don't care at all about their patients, even when they are little babies that need to see the world around them. I will never recommend anyone to go there. read more

Don't go to this optical. Two grumpy old men here. They pushed me to buy eye glasses that were quite expensive.

I had the best experience when I decided to treat myself to a new pair of prescription sunglasses! I am so glad that I found this place the service was awesome the selection was beautiful and the customer service was amazing! I left there feeling like a supermodel in my new shades! I got so many compliments too they are perfect shape for my face and I have sent many friends there and they have all come back happy! read more
