Happened to be a Tuesday, which is apparently half-priced beer, hotdogs, and candy night. This was a pleasant surprised and beer was around $4.5 for each. The venue was very clean and there were several stands before the game to explore. They had a decent selection of beer and even had a few ciders. For food, they have all the classics (hotdog, chicken strips, fries, Philly cheesesteaks, and several others). From inside the arena, there really wasn't a bad seat in the house. You are relatively close to the action from anywhere so it is very easy to see. My only complaint is they had several giveaways and raffles, but most of the prizes were Gift cards to a select restaurant or to the pro shop, so for an occasional attendee, weren't appealing. I understand this isn't a pro team so they probably don't have much of a budget, but general prizes would be better in my opinion. Our tickets were $30 each and came with one draft beer. Due to the alcohol, tickets were will-call pick-up only. If picking up before 6pm then tickets are picked up from the Silvertips office. After the Silvertips office closes then tickets are picked up at the arena box office. Arena doors open 1 hour before the game starts. Free street parking can be found if one arrives early enough. Paid parking is also available. Inside the area, one will find a Silvertips store (military discounts are given here), a variety of food kiosk's, beverage kiosk's (full bar) and several restrooms. Craft beer was $9.50 for a 20oz pour. Drinks are allowed to be taken back to the seats. Overall, my wife and I had an exciting date night for a reasonable amount of money.

What I didn't appreciate was the way that the Stealth management has marketed the sport not as a sport but rather as entertainment. Rather poor quality music is blasted during the entire game along with a shill for the organization doing what he can to have the fans get worked up. The combination is an assault on your senses for 2 hours that frankly, I can do without. So, thumbs up on the sport but a big thumbs down for the organization that feels like they need to dumb it all down in order to get the fans to attend. Based on the number of fans they had...it isn't working. Get smart and market it for what it is, an exciting sport.

There is a decent amount of parking although on this night we had to find street parking. It was closed off for fireworks night which was spectacular! Very nice ballpark, great dining options. It was Chick-Fil-A special but it was limited tickets so we purchased regular tickets. It was a fun evening overall.
