Happened to be a Tuesday, which is apparently half-priced beer, hotdogs, and candy night. This was a pleasant surprised and beer was around $4.5 for each. The venue was very clean and there were several stands before the game to explore. They had a decent selection of beer and even had a few ciders. For food, they have all the classics (hotdog, chicken strips, fries, Philly cheesesteaks, and several others). From inside the arena, there really wasn't a bad seat in the house. You are relatively close to the action from anywhere so it is very easy to see. My only complaint is they had several giveaways and raffles, but most of the prizes were Gift cards to a select restaurant or to the pro shop, so for an occasional attendee, weren't appealing. I understand this isn't a pro team so they probably don't have much of a budget, but general prizes would be better in my opinion. Overall, I had a great night and will definitely come back for another game

If you love sports, and you live in, or near, Seattle.... don't walk.... RUN to the nearest computer, and buy yourself a ticket to a Storm game. You will not be disappointed. Lauren Jackson, Sue Bird, Swin Cash, Svetlana Abrosimova, Tanisha Wright, Camille Little, Le'coe Willingham, Abby Bishop, Jana Vesela, Alison Lacey and Ashley Robinson are AMAZING to watch on the court (and some of them are VERY lovely on the eyes!!!!!!). So what are you waiting for? A personal invitation from the team mascot, Doppler? You don't need a weather report to know that a STORM is a brewin' in Seattle, and it's going to leave you with a wonderful impression of what a woman CAN and WILL do!!!!

Their Tagline is "Together we hunt." They can be watched on Root Sports northwest, but we know the best way is to see games live at Starfire sports field which is a multi-use field. Their team colors are similar to the Seattle Seahawks with a dark blue, green and white color scheme. I had the pleasure of seeing a match as a friend is a fan and on/off player. Currently the some of the most notable players are AJ Alatimu who holds the title of top scorer for the team at - 321 and Riekert Hattingh 39 attempts. I assume for the former is through a season and the latter for a single game as I'm new to the sport. Hope to be able to catch some Seawolves action again!

There is a decent amount of parking although on this night we had to find street parking. It was closed off for fireworks night which was spectacular! Very nice ballpark, great dining options. Their March To The Match is one of the greatest things in all of sport all over the world. Obafemi Martins for me was the best player they ever had but Clint Dempsey surely did a lot of great stuff too. One of the greatest football teams in the country and certainly a perfect example of what the United States can give to the world in football, which silly Americans call soccer. Seattle have the greatest crowd in MLS and the greatest fans and there's just nothing like the home crowd of Seattle. Portland does a miniature version of this and the Canadians do a good job as well - and I mean a really good job - and don't forget Atlanta, but there is absolutely nothing quite like what Seattle gave to, and continues to give to, the league. For this reason it will always be one of my favorite MLS team. Seattle plays in the Century Link Seahawks stadium which is enormous and built for the NFL. It can get a little bit lonely on one of the quiet days but when there's a big game for Seattle and this place gets full you would think you were in one of the palaces of European soccer.

Tickets are priced right, just about every seat is great. Free street parking is available if you get there early enough, lots are as little as $5. Inside concessions are plentiful, craft beer is pushing $10. Silvertips are not that old, but still have lots of banners hanging from the rafters. The Tips have a great win record, that always makes it fun. I love the local rivals; Portland, Spokane, and Tri-Cities (and a few others). We went to the season finale, almost a sell out crowd - the energy and excitement. Yes, there is an occasional fight, but not every game.

What I didn't appreciate was the way that the Stealth management has marketed the sport not as a sport but rather as entertainment. Rather poor quality music is blasted during the entire game along with a shill for the organization doing what he can to have the fans get worked up. The combination is an assault on your senses for 2 hours that frankly, I can do without. So, thumbs up on the sport but a big thumbs down for the organization that feels like they need to dumb it all down in order to get the fans to attend. Based on the number of fans they had...it isn't working. Get smart and market it for what it is, an exciting sport.
