My wife and I attended a playoff game and had a fun night (we won!). I purchased the Happy Hour tickets through the Silvertips rather than through the arena. Our tickets were $30 each and came with one draft beer. Due to the alcohol, tickets were will-call pick-up only. If picking up before 6pm then tickets are picked up from the Silvertips office. After the Silvertips office closes then tickets are picked up at the arena box office. Arena doors open 1 hour before the game starts. Free street parking can be found if one arrives early enough. Paid parking is also available. Inside the area, one will find a Silvertips store (military discounts are given here), a variety of food kiosk's, beverage kiosk's (full bar) and several restrooms. Craft beer was $9.50 for a 20oz pour. Drinks are allowed to be taken back to the seats. Overall, my wife and I had an exciting date night for a reasonable amount of money. read more

I attended games in the past, but somehow, this season seamed even better (perhaps its the post-mask awakening). Tickets are priced right, just about every seat is great. Free street parking is available if you get there early enough, lots are as little as $5. Inside concessions are plentiful, craft beer is pushing $10. Silvertips are not that old, but still have lots of banners hanging from the rafters. The Tips have a great win record, that always makes it fun. I love the local rivals; Portland, Spokane, and Tri-Cities (and a few others). We went to the season finale, almost a sell out crowd - the energy and excitement. Good quality of play in a super nice venue full of passionate, smart fans...the games really buzz with energy off the ice and in the stands. It's a far more entertaining experience than that of a certain other WHL team that plays about an hour south on I-5, if you know what I mean... There are some fun fan participation things like shooting t-shirts from the zamboni, a 50/50 raffle, and chuck-a-puck in the second intermission (be careful if you're sitting near the glass behind the net because some people can't quite throw their pucks over the netting, and they rain down on the poor folks sitting up front). Plus, keep your eyes out for the charming mascot, Lincoln (named for the USS Abraham Lincoln; he's a cartoonish bear but he sorta looks more like a cartoonish mountain lion). We absolutely love going to games so close to home! The stadium is nice and clean, and the staff are always helpful and friendly! Very kid friendly as well. If you are a nursing mom they will offer you a private area (they offered us an empty suite when it wasn't busy!) We have had great experiences every time we go to games. We tend to eat beforehand since stadium prices can be expensive but I wouldn't say their prices are outrageous for a stadium! read more

All I can say is that when hockey season ends, a little bit of me dies. I love watching these boys play hockey. I love that I can scream really loud and not get (too many) dirty looks. They aren't always great, but it's always an entertaining game. The front office staff is also pretty good. We have season tickets and Devon and Aaron have been very easy to work with. I can not WAIT for pre-season. I'd rather skip my wedding and birthday if it meant I could have pre-season now. PS I am not looking forward to Simpson growing up and going to Chicago. read more

Granted, it's unfair to compare to the Giants who play in a relative dome-like back at home, since this is newer and smaller seating capacity, less than 9,000. We used to try at least once a year to watch a game when the Giants were on the road, but the last few years have been tough with my eating/working schedule. Probably the only known player to make it to the NHL from here is Peter Mueller, who used to play for the Colorado, a bit of a streaky player. Not sure who he plays for now. read more

Pretty good hockey product but the general unprofessionalism rendered it a so-so experience. For example, the ushers can be pushy and borderline rude, even when the arena is 75% empty. If you are in the Seattle area and interested in live hockey, the Thunderbirds offer a superior experience due to higher energy atmosphere and far friendlier staff. Having just moved here I checked out both teams and the side-by-side comparison is pretty stark. And babies because they smell too. And the b**** at the counter had the audacity to tell me with a smile about the menu change. I want to start by saying I wish they had a separate section for the customer service side of the Everett Silvertips. They have numerous issues with the tickets and the few people I've talked to on the phone have been rude and dismissive. Even in instances when they charged my card for $275 for no reason at all. Or didn't have my season tickets ready until after the season started. But with that being said I think the games are fun, the team is good, the atmosphere is mostly family friendly and I don't feel ripped off by most of the food they offer! read more

If you find yourself in the Puget Sound region and want hockey, you've got the Silvertips and the Thunderbirds to pick from. I tend to go to more Thunderbird games than Silvertip games just because I live closer to Kent than I do Everett, but I think the games in Everett are better. Fans are more knowledgeable, Comcast Arena's 2 decks make it feel more like a "real" arena than ShoWare, and there are a ton of local eateries within a few blocks walking distance of the arena. Generally speaking, the Silvertips are usually the better team... so if you have the choice between the two, I'd advise going up to Everett. Just don't expect NHL (or even AHL) quality hockey at either location. It's basically NCAA-level with a lot more body checking and fights. read more

I always have a great time when I go here!! Whether it's a date with my girlfriend or a group thing, the Everett Silvertips is always a good show. Sometimes there are fights, sometimes there are overtime shoot outs. Plus, they have a 50/50 raffle/lottery that satisfies the little gambler in me. 50% of the money goes to support youth hockey, the other 50% goes in to the lottery and the numbers are pulled towards the end of the 3rd period. Purchased group tickets for my daughter's sweet 16 surpise event. She is a huge hockey fan and Silvertips brought home the EXCITING WIN this Saturday over the Seattle Thunderbirds in OT. Fun inexpensive night out with friends. While I don't have children, it looked like all the families with children were having a great time too. We were able to take advantage of the 2015/16 Friday night game deal for $20 flat (when you sign up for email alerts) and only paid $5 for garage parking. The smaller size of the area and ability to get up close to the action, makes for an enjoyable game to watch. The time between periods can seem a bit long, but they manage the activities and giveaways during that time well to keep your interest. You can't beat $105 total to park, get 4th row seats and a beer each for 5 people. read more

I've never had so much fun attending a hockey game this side of the Canadian border. The fans are awesome, and the close-in feel of the arena makes it feel like you're right on top of the action, even when you're 25 rows away. If you're trying to decide between a Silvertips game or a Thunderbirds game, the Silvertips atmosphere is BY FAR the superior of the two. I also want to give a quick shout out to Dan, one of the Account Executives that sells the ticket packages and mans the customer service desk. We had a blast last night! This was an awesome place to see raw beer league hockey! Don't get me wrong, the kids came and we had an awesome time. People around us although a little toasted, were very nice and into the game. We sat in the silver section--120 for 4 people. Buy at box office to avoid 4 dollar a ticket fee. Water is 4.25-4.50 which is a total rip, but what do you expect at a game. Pizza 6-7 dollars a slice--ok. Popcorn around 6-7. Didn't see beer prices --I imagine around 9 bucks for 20 ounce. Tickets are as low as 17 in the upper level. I like to sit down where the action is, but it is a small arena, so anywhere would be great if you wanted to save. Game was exciting. Parking was 10 in cash by the front. It looked like most people parked on the street. We were a bit late. So maybe after snacks we got away with 200 night? Less than one ticket at the NFL. Kids loved the action. Started at 735 we left around 1020. Plan your escape route after the game--the freeway. read more
