I'm just waving! Goal for the Tips

Great place to watch hockey. The Tips are an amazing team! Always have been! Lots of choices. My complaints are the new X-ray machines that they can't figure out and beer selection and prices. 2-porters now $24 Ridiculous!

If you're looking for a fun, family friendly, affordable activity look no further than the Silvertips! The ice hockey is fun to watch but it's almost a backdrop for all of the other fun stuff that's going on during a game. There are booths along the concourse with interactive games, mascots running around, on-ice entertainment and lots of yummy beer and food options. Keep an eye out for ticket deals! We bought 4 tickets, got 4 hats and 4 dinner vouchers for El Paraiso for $80! Such a great value! Location is a little bit of a hike for me but it's worth the drive for a fun night! Not for true hockey fans: there aren't that many fights. Boooooo!

Silvertips games are a blast from the opening face off to the final horn. Good quality of play in a super nice venue full of passionate, smart fans...the games really buzz with energy off the ice and in the stands. It's a far more entertaining experience than that of a certain other WHL team that plays about an hour south on I-5, if you know what I mean... There are some fun fan participation things like shooting t-shirts from the zamboni, a 50/50 raffle, and chuck-a-puck in the second intermission (be careful if you're sitting near the glass behind the net because some people can't quite throw their pucks over the netting, and they rain down on the poor folks sitting up front). Plus, keep your eyes out for the charming mascot, Lincoln (named for the USS Abraham Lincoln; he's a cartoonish bear but he sorta looks more like a cartoonish mountain lion). That said, the excellent hockey and the strong sense of fan engagement and loyalty are the real stars here.

We are season ticket holders for the Tips! Love the Arena - LOVE hockey! Food and drinks are pretty spendy --- $5 draft beer on Friday nights which is nice. Staff / people are always nice. Great, affordable thing to do especially if you love hockey!!! Always a good time!

This is probably the best place to be in the entire Northwest. The energy of the team and the small feel of this community is great. They are like family!!!

I like everything about this place the Silver Tips rock, the food selection is awesome, and delicious. The Silver tips are ahead by one after one period. They have had a couple of good fights, one of the reasons I like hockey, (Fights)!

Whether lose or win the Everett SilverTips always put on a great show. It's a lot of fun to catch a game and rather inexpensive.

We were intent on going to Puetz Golf but had heard about Jorgenson and decided to stop in here on the way. They've been in business they said for like 26 years, and after having experienced their service I know why. We were on the hunt for a couple of Golf bags, due to an unfortunate rat incident in our storage shed. I really wanted a Callaway bag to replace my other, but the owner showed us around and pointed out some other great bags, and I ended up buying a Sun Mountain, which I love already. The hubby was filled with glee to see the PING hoofer bag in camo, so he chose that one. Having joked to my hubby about his horrible slice the owner suggested she analyze his swing, him being such a tall guy she said he probably didn't have stiff enough clubs for his swing speed etc. This indeed was proven true. Although we didn't buy clubs this weekend we both will get a new set this season and will get them at Jorgensen. This is our new golf shop, we won't go anywhere else. Great service, super friendly, reasonably priced, and very knowledgeable.

Lucas spent an hour with me looking at my club fit and also swing speed, etc. We figured out that my 16 year old driver was too flexible and my swing speed was much faster than what my club could handle. Yes, I've outgrown my old driver. There was no pressure to buy anything and I appreciated the honest feedback about a couple of my bad golf habits. Lucas guided me to an affordable close out driver that was actually made this century (ok, actually within the last year), unlike my current driver. I held off on buying the driver that night so I could go home and "geek out" with Internet research on that driver and other models. I came back in the next day and Diana let me practice on the driver for a while. Julius even came out and gave me some impromptu pointers to help fix my swing. To cap this off, Diana offered to resize the grip on my driver at no cost to fit my hand size. I'm such a fan of small and local businesses. I don't think I would have gotten this level of service anywhere else, especially at those big box stores. I'm definitely a fan and a new and loyal customer. I'll be slowly upgrading my 16 year old golf set by going back here. Thank you!

Regrettably we are leaving EYH as the lack of personal development and attention to finances got too much to bear. For the money we were expecting greater interest in personal development, but many of the kids were simply belittled and verbally abused with very little constructive criticism/development. The finances and travel management felt very amateur, especially compared to past teams. It seems that good coaching and team management are few and far between with youth hockey becoming such a big business, which is such a shame given the love of hockey that these kids have and thirst for knowledge and inspiration. No kid wants to play badly, so yelling profanities and belittlements at kids for playing badly, or at the team for losing seems a real waste of an opportunity to be inspirations to these kids who just want to play, and who's parents are paying a fortune supporting kids passion for sports. Having one NHL coach as a pulling point becomes meaningless if that coach is spread across several teams, and isn't able to take personal interest in player development. Unfortunately it comes to the point where associations need to realise that parents are customers, and it's not a privilege for them to accept our kids, it's a responsibility to provide a quality service. Too many parents are shamed into being silent Incase there's a political backlash on their kid, and made to feel that its a privilege , but I kinda disagree. I hope someone reads this and reassesses how youth hockey teams should be accountable, how coaches are allowed/expected to coach and managers manage, and reconsiders what it means to provide a meaningful experience that kids will feel proud of and parents are happy to support.
