For my procedure, I was told I could either pay $200 up front and they would not bill insurance OR they would bill insurance, but if insurance did not pay then my cost would be $400. I asked if I could pay the $200 up front, have them bill insurance, and if insurance paid, they would then reimburse my $200. They refused. Their policy is to refuse to bill insurance if you pay the "discounted" cost up front. If you choose to have them bill insurance and if insurance then pays, they essentially get paid twice-- once from the patient and once from the insurance company-- and they keep both payments. Quite a system. Patient beware.

Specifically, the radiologist or individual handling my x-rays was rude and didn't show a semblance of care. Her tone was condescending throughout the imaging and she was rushing me (mind you someone in pain) to get in the proper positioning for the x-rays. I would hope that they treat other patients with more care in the future.

They let me know when I called after receiving the bill that this location is not an urgent care and that because of that my insurance wouldn't go through and I'd have to pay out of pocket. They offered me a discount which only took my bill down to about $500. They also mentioned this is an ongoing issue that they are working on.... If this is a known issue, they should be dealing with it immediately and not charging people hundreds of dollars for their error. Love the looks inside, but you can get confused knowing where to go. Friendly information desk in lobby and has security and metal detector at front door. My check in was swift and easy as I did most of my Pre checkin online in My Chart! Takes a little getting used to the site... Everyone I dealt with from checking in, the initial nurse, anesthesiologist, doctor and team of nurses. Good communication for pre procedure as well as post procedure for colonoscopy. Staff took care of me until I was wheeled down to the car in the lobby area. I'm a FaN of Swedish today!!! CON - Albeit...getting appointments can be weeks to months. And getting someone on the phone or in the right group is always confusing and LONG wait times.

We were diagosed with breast cancer and am now a 3 year survivor thanks to the angels at Swedish Cancer Institute. Dr. Kristine Rinn was and is our top oncologist, Dr. Morris our Radiation oncologist helped us through the cancer diagnosis. The fine people in the radiation ward, always had cheerful greeting to us, and the nurses in the chemotherapy ward was kind and gentle too. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rinn she was fantastic. We felt taken care of and I knew we were in good hands, it is tough enough with everything cancer brings, but thank goodness we found what we needed at Swedish!

I tried to explain that I haven't had contact with my doctor after moving to a new state so I can't get the clearance he needed for some reason. But he wasn't able to comprehend my words. Since the most recent time I came was during this Covid pandemic, it was reassuring to see the staff disinfecting common areas and taking my temperature to make sure I didn't have a fever. Overall, this is a well ran MRI suite with a straight forward and easy process. I will be returning if I need to get anymore MRI's.

I have never had an MRI before. I was super nervous because I didn't know what was I going to feel…read moreor hear. Checking was super fast as they already had my info through the doctor. Staff was super understanding and patient and walk me through the proedure. They give you earplugs and also play some music through earbuds so you can relax and not hear the loud noises during the scan. They will keep in touch at all moments through a microphone and window. It will last approximately 40minutes but it will depend in the body part to treat. Now, if you need a shoulder MRi, you will also need a Doctor to inject a contrast fluid in your joint. It won't hurt because they use a numbness liquid first ;) So be sure you are going to be in good hands :) Be sure to bring shorts and tank top. No metal. Not even your ring (I was able to feel something with it).
