I needed my 80 year old basement garage floor epoxied. I had a bunch of companies provide quotes…read more Some actually provided quotes without even coming out and inspecting my garage. I didn't trust these quotes at all since I knew my old garage floor was not in great shape. Obed showed great knowledge with epoxying floors. He pointed out a bunch of cracks and pits that would need to be opened up and filled. My garage also had something strange where someone had extended the footing with additional concrete. This caused extra concrete ledges around my entire footing. Obed said he could address all of it. I also needed trim installed and he said he could do that as well. Even with the trim install, his quote came out competitive with the other quotes. Obed did an amazing job with the garage floor epoxy and the trim work. I was very impressed with the end result. I know he went above and beyond to take additional time to fix issues so that the end result would be good. For example, we agreed to have one small part of the extra concrete ground down so the floor would be flat. As they were prepping the other extra concrete for epoxy, the concrete actually started cracking and falling off. Without charging me extra, they also removed this extra concrete so the end result was an entirely flat floor without any additional concrete ledges. After grinding the floor, Obed realized that it would best to level the floor. Again, without an additional charge, he leveled the floor. He also filled in a bunch of concrete holes and voids on the concrete step by the door leading into the house. When installing the trim, they took the time to specially contour the bottom of the trim to match the many dips in my old garage floor. While leveling did help with the dips, my garage floor just had some extreme dips. In the end, I was beyond happy with the end result. I originally hired him to epoxy my floor, but he ended up fixing so many different things and made the entire garage better because of it.

Beau is the best contractor we have ever worked with, bar none.  His attention to detail and his…read moreeye for design are both impeccable, and there is nothing we wouldn't trust him with.  He communicated clearly, kept us incredibly well-informed about the scope and timing of the project, and did everything he said he would, completing the project pretty much exactly when he expected to be finished, and on budget.  He gave us great advice throughout the process - including recommending when to order certain items, an impressive feat given the current global supply chain issues - in a way that was completely respectful and never pushy.  Our kitchen is now our favorite room in the house. A bit of background on our project: Beau dragged our kitchen from the 70s - no range vent, Formica countertops that buckled with the slightest pressure, cupboard doors that didn't fully close, to name a few issues - into the modern era.  This was a complete demolition, down to the studs, and rebuild.  Along the way, he removed an old chimney that ran from our basement, through the first floor, and into the attic; upgraded our hot water heater, and most of our old, galvanized plumbing; updated our electrical panel and removed a lot of knob-and-tube wiring; and widened our back door.  He had a clear understanding of what he could and could not do, and, for the latter, he had subcontractors lined up and ready to do the work.  Beau, his crew, and the subcontractors I interacted with, were all extremely pleasant, polite, helpful, and fun.  They were very nice to (and tolerant of) our pets, and did everything they could to make the process as unintrusive as possible.  They went above and beyond in so many ways, it's impossible to remember them all.  At the end of the project, the work was done as expected, was top-notch, and as much as we were glad to have the kitchen back, it was sad to see them go.

Oscar, Tasha, and Jaime are also extremely trustworthy. There couldn't always be someone at home, but they had a spare key to come in and start work while we were at work or otherwise busy. The few times we were out when they were done for the day, Oscar made sure to text us that they were done and locking the door. Lastly (because this is getting long), when our newly sealed toilet had mysterious little pools of water on the floor, Oscar and Tasha came back to take a look within 24 hours of being asked about it. They came after a full day of work at someone else's home and stayed an hour to solve the problem free of charge (there is a 1-year warranty on their work). I really appreciate them and have already asked them to tackle another smaller project.

The installation of the oven was very tricky because of the various issues we ran into. Jose was the one who identified these issues for us. Jose also built this beautiful railings for us! These guys did extensive repairs on three bathrooms and the family room after we had water damage…read more Most of the guys he had working for them had no idea what they were doing. The downstairs bathroom was never given a second coat of paint and the floor wasn't leveled so the flooring is now breaking up. Shower door won't stay close. The vanity they recommended I get from someone they knew has unpainted spot. They also got a stone top for the vanity from the same friend and it now turning yellow. The plumbing in all the bathrooms was done by one of their workers, not a plumber and is so jerry rigged that I'm just waiting for it to fail. In the family room the track lighting is falling off because it wasn't installed properly. After they installed the flooring in the family room they dragged a piano across it and scratched the floor. After some arguing they did replace the flooring. Over all I was very disappointed and their work is not holding up. Stay away!

He was very polite and efficient with his work, and afterward, the area was completely clean. The dishwasher works perfectly and the cabinets look great. I did end up paying more than the original quote, but that was due to unforeseen complications with the project (old house problems), and Silbano confirmed the new price with me before he continued working.
