Our household goes here 2-3 times a week because we love the flavor of this coffee. This mornings coffee left a bad taste in my mouth unfortunately. There is a barista there that is consistently unfriendly and behaves inconvenienced by our patronage. We continue to go in spite of her for the quality coffee but today she went from unfriendly to plain old rude. She rolls her eyes at requests and complains about guests in front of guests. It's borderline comical that she works in customer service. I just love my morning cup of joe paired with a healthy serving of aggression. read more

Ordered an iced french caramel latte which was delicious but strong! (not necessarily a bad thing). The barista was very laid-back, friendly (just struck up a conversation with us while we were waiting). The cafe itself is small, nothing fancy, but felt comfortable. read more

Local mom and pop coffee shop that's been serving great coffee since the early 90's. No matter what coffee you decide upon.... espresso drink, toddy or a black coffee you can't go wrong. The quality and ingredients are always top notch. My recommendation is either the iced White Russian or Bella Mocha. This place has been here for forever and they use nothing but great ingredients for each cup of love they serve. Toddies are always a great to start the day, but their orange blossom or cherry green tea is impressive as well. I love this place. The coffee is supreme. I am addicted to the Bella Mocha with Almond Milk. It is a warm and inviting place you will want to hang out in and chill. I often will hang out and work for a couple of hours. Just make sure to bring change for a tip if you use a credit card. And trust me....you will want to tip. The staff is incredibly nice. read more

Happened to be in the neighborhood and looking for non-Starbucks...Behold, this cozy little cafe that is reminiscent of a place I used to frequent in my hometown. The iced White Russian is the only one I've ever tried because it's that good! It is perfectly sweet with a delicious espresso taste and surprisingly refreshing. I have been coming to Seattle Espresso for years and would highly recommend it. The coffee in my opinion is much better than your standard Starbucks and I like to support local business. The espresso is smooth and without a bitter after taste. I typically get an Americano, but all of their drinks are good. If you want something sweet go for the White Russian! read more

I love, love, LOVE Seattle Espresso. I love it. I grew up in Arizona but have lived in Southern California for about 6 years now. My family is still in Arizona, and the first place I go whenever I'm in town is Seattle Espresso. It's just so good. I can't emphasize that enough. My three favorite things about this place are: 1) Iced White Russian Mochas - these are sweet but they don't over do it. This is my favorite drink and I've never been able to find anything similar. 2) Cold brewed coffee (toddy) - okay, I know everywhere you go has iced coffee. BUT, I no one has toddy like Seattle Espresso. This cold brewed coffee tastes delish with a light splash of vanilla syrup. I don't know how they brew this to such perfection, but they do. Believe me. 3) Stamp cards! - you get a free drink for every 10 drinks you purchase. This is pretty cool, especially if you buy coffee everyday. The people have always been very helpful, and the vibe is so much better than a Starbucks. Definitely try this place if you want quality coffee. OH- and every Saturday morning they have a small farmer's market in the parking lot! (But don't worry, there's still plenty of parking). read more

I drink amazing hot soy lattes here and I can actually taste the smooth espresso. Some places fill the lattes with half foam, but I have never received such a drink at Seattle Esspresso. They also give out punch cards which is a plus. Only downside is the small and undecorated inside seating area. I wouldn't choose this place to chat with a friend unless it were cooler weather and we could sit in the outside seating area. read more

Great local coffee house. Their chai with almond milk rocks! The customer service is excellent and after only a few visits they remembered my 'regular' order. Love the vibe and the people. The shop itself is on the small side so be prepared to sit outside, which is not a bad option unless it is 110 degrees. read more

Little overpriced but quite delicious. We had iced tea and chai tea - well made, extremely fast service and great vibe inside and out. Makes this large strip shopping mall a bit brighter in a not so interesting part of Phoenix. Stop in for good quality coffee and maybe to do some work for a few hours. read more

This is my "go to" coffee shop when I'm in the Chandler area. Its tucked away in a strip mall, quiet, nice staff and great coffee. The Wifi is ok, but a bit under-powered if there is a large number of people in there using it. Could do with more seating for laptops, but on the plus side they are open until 9PM which is awesome. Other coffee shops I frequent close at 6PM which sucks, when you have deadlines, need a place to work that is quiet and has great coffee. read more

I don't understand the praise. I started working nearby a few months ago and was looking for a good indie coffee shop within a short drive of my office. I was excited to try Seattle Espresso based on the reviews. I was immediately impressed by both the location and the vibe of being a neighborhood coffee shop. I've gone probably 6 or 7 times trying to convince myself it was worth it.. and I don't intend to go back after the last time - more on that in a minute. The espresso is pulled really weak (I'm not sure if it's the machine or the barista - as they use Illy beans, which can be really good when made right), there's a reason why they seem to always ask if you want a double-shot of espresso. I've tried both lattes and Americanos. Despite the double espresso all you can really taste in the lattes is milk. I'm critical (ok.. self-admittedly overly critical) of lattes, if I'm going to spend $4-5 on a beverage I want it to be more than a cup of steamed milk. The two times I've gotten Americanos instead, they've been awful. The first time tasted like hot water with a hint of coffee. The last time (and the last time I will go here) it actually tasted rancid - which I think had to do with the half & half they provided (from an open pitcher they keep refrigerated below the register - I'm not so sure if that is sanitary). After sipping it on the way to my car I went back in to tell the barista the drink tasted 'off'. The barista didn't express any true compassion or concern, just gave a flippant "do you want something else?", as if the barista was offended by someone actually complaining (I get it, I worked in coffeeshops for 10 years, but at least show some concern). Unfortunately there's a real lack of indie shops between the 101 and I10 on either Warner or Elliott. There was Toast Coffehouse - which closed and Great Harvest Bread (one plaza west of where Seattle is) has okay coffee. Other than that just the normal Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, gas station. I give 2 stars as the location and vibe is solid. read more

Hey, first I don't like to spend my hard earned ka-ching with the evil empire. I have been coming to this local coffee shop since the first opened their doors. My morning drink is Cappuccino skinny. They make it right every time. If I wanted a latte I would have ordered one. The baristas remember your name and your drink, and always are willing to chat you up. The use good quality materials, and the results show it!! I was told they aren't pulling Illy shots anymore, as they got into a pricing squabble with them, but the quality is still there. read more
