He did have to go to the hardware store to get the right stuff for it. The second incident was an emergency call about our toilet tank breaking, causing a minor flooding of the bathroom. It was at the end of day, so the correspondent got off us in touch with the on call plumber asap. Brad called me within ten mins of me calling the dispatcher. We got a new toilet installed and the water shut off switch needed to be replaced, due to it being 25 year old toilet. Toilet installation was $450 but the valve replacement made it a bit more. Total bill was $720. All that being said, we have tried to do plumbing jobs on our own, and they have equated to more grief and stress than anything else. It has not saved us time or money.
