(2 stars) "The…read moreelectrician who did the work was competent and efficient. However, my experience with Lights On Electric's billing and follow-up was disappointing. When the nearly $3,000 invoice arrived, I asked for clarification about the charges. In response, I was given only gross figures, with no clear breakdown explaining the specific work performed or how the charges were calculated. Only seven days after issuing the invoice, Lights On sent a hostile email stating that I was late in paying and threatening to immediately add late fees. This response felt unnecessarily aggressive and inappropriate toward a customer who was simply seeking billing clarity. Because of the lack of transparency and the bullying tone of the communication, I will not do business with this company again."

Trust me, finding an electrician in Bend who isn't booked out for 8 weeks can be tough, so we thought we struck gold when he said he could do our job (a relatively small one) the next day!! Chet's electric is the best! After calling several businesses (two of which didn't even bother to…read morereturn my calls), I decided to go with Chet's. Chet's was the electrical subcontractor under the main remodel contractor for a bathroom remodel that was completed several months ago. I'm glad I held onto their phone number. I needed to have a few outlets swapped out, two new thermostats wired in and a ceiling fan installed. Mollie from Chet's had done the subcontract work from the earlier remodel and I asked that she be the one to perform the work since she was already familiar with the quirks of the house. I plan on having Mollie from Chet's return to perform other electrical work in the future as I slowly update the house. Thank you!

Just opened my furnace filter compartment from the last visit by quality heating in January to…read morereplace my filter. Was shocked to find a 1" filter in a 5" slot. What the heck? Called for a remedy and to try and understand and the gal said "oh that's no problem!" and I was like "it's a problem, I don't understand why the wrong filter is installed". She said they didn't charge for the filter and they could send someone out to fix but they would need to charge for the correct filter. I said "let me get this right, you put in the wrong filter and now you want to come back and put in the correct filter, but I have to pay for it?" She said maybe the smaller filter was placed as a temporary filter. But it wasn't noted and if it was temporary it's been close to 5 months so she apologized for the mistake but was unwilling to do anything meaningful. I asked if there was anything they could do and she kept saying they could install the correct filter as a cost. So I'm done with these guys. Installing a 1" filter in a 5" slot can do damage to a furnace. It doesn't seal properly and the surface area of filter is 4-10x less - so it clogs up much much faster.
