I reached out to them recently about replacing our sink, which I knew would be a challenge because…read moreit was an undermounted sink with a very non-standard shape. Doug was very helpful with the entire process, including helping me locate a sink that would work well in our existing cutout. Then, when the time came to install, he did a great job getting everything installed and hooked up so that we were up and running with no issues. Overall it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish, and I'd be happy to work with them again.

The work was completed well, and I'm happy with the outcome. When it came time for billing, I was surprised to learn that a second technician had been onsite, as that hadn't been discussed in advance. As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! I originally set the review at 4 stars, but have adjusted it up to 5 stars because of this. Thanks Jason!

** one star and unfortunately, it's well deserved **…read more Our experience with Severson Plumbing started with an issue involving our sewer tank and work that was already covered under the company's warranty. You would think resolving an issue with previously warranted work would be relatively straightforward. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The first point of contact was Stephanie, and dealing with her was like pulling teeth. Her communication was consistently rude and unprofessional. On two occasions, information provided to us was simply not accurate, and that same misinformation was apparently relayed to Jason Severson, the owner, who was out of town at the time. I understand that people travel and take time away from work. However, when a customer has an unresolved warranty issue, some level of communication and follow through should still be expected. After waiting more than two weeks, Jason finally returned my call. Unfortunately, rather than taking the time to understand what had happened, acknowledge the frustration or make an effort to resolve the situation, he came into the conversation without having the facts straight. What followed was even more disappointing. The conversation was condescending, dismissive, and completely lacking in any meaningful effort to understand or address the underlying issue. Rather than taking ownership and trying to find a resolution, Jason spoke down to me and ultimately hung up on me. Let that sink in. This is the owner of the company. Customer service starts with the first person who answers the phone, and it certainly doesn't improve when the matter reaches ownership. Mistakes happen. Warranty issues happen. What distinguishes a reputable business is how it responds when something goes wrong. In our experience, neither the initial customer service nor the owner's response demonstrated the professionalism, accountability, or basic courtesy that customers should expect. I'm leaving this review because I believe other homeowners in our community deserve to know what our experience was like before choosing this company. I would not recommend Severson Plumbing & Mechanical. The issue itself was frustrating, but the way we were treated throughout the process was ultimately what made this experience so disappointing.

I've used Einstein Plumbing more times than I can count, and at this point I'm starting to think…read morethey secretly teleport instead of drive. Every single time I call, they show up exactly when they say they will. Not "sometime between 8am and next Tuesday" like most trades actual, real, human punctuality. It's almost suspicious. Their communication is just as solid. You know what's happening, when it's happening, and what it's going to cost before anyone starts taking things apart. No mystery invoices, no "well we found something else" panic moments. Just clear, honest work from people who actually seem to care about doing it right. And let's talk about pricing. In a world where calling a plumber can feel like you just agreed to finance a small yacht, their pricing is refreshingly reasonable. You walk away thinking, "That was... fair?" Which is not a common emotion in home services. As for the negative reviews I genuinely don't get it. Either I've hit the customer service lottery multiple times, or some people expect a pipe repair to come with a foot massage and a handwritten thank-you note. Every experience I've had has been smooth, professional, and honestly kind of impressive. If you want a plumbing company that shows up, communicates like adults, and doesn't make you question your life choices when the bill arrives, these are your people. 10/10, would happily let them rescue my plumbing disasters again.
