Let me start out by saying it was the BEST massage my wife and I have ever had. Both massage therapists were sensitive to individual needs/requests, were extremely detailed in facial, neck and full body massage and were very professional and kind. We made appointments for 4 of us. The business texted me all 4 appointments reminders, along with emails to confirm - a few times. Upon arrival the lady said we only had appointments for 3. I showed her my text messages and she said one of the gals wasn't responding and didn't think she would be coming in. We were all going to leave, but I told my friends to go ahead and get their massages. I left and they did offer to give me a massage afterwards, but we had a full day planned and that would have made us miss out on other things we had scheduled. I know things happen but they should have let us know that one of their therapist wasn't going to make it, before our arrival. We would have canceled and went elsewhere. My appointment was with Cheri. The process for getting an appointment was very easy & done on line. When I arrived & met Cheri, I asked her if she had been there long. She was immediately on the offensive. She was not one of the people I had read about on reviews. She informed me that she didn't ask people to put her name on reviews & her fingers didn't have to touch me. The owner was sitting there & had nothing to say. I was very close to leaving, but thought I would give it a go in spite of the interaction. She took me to a room and I asked her if she could do something with the temperature, it was cold to me. She guessed she could and turned off the fan. I asked her if she would be ok with it off and rather rudely she told me we'd see. The music was very loud, but I was afraid to ask her to lower it. Later I found out why it's so loud. We moved forward.... When she came back her attitude seemed to be much improved. She let me know that she was caught off guard by my questions and apologized. I apologized as well & explained that we are full time travelers & rely on reviews to help pick a business. The massage was very nice and Cheri became very pleasant & warm. The room was visually pleasant, but you can hear everything that goes on in that business as well as the retail business on the first floor. There was no relaxing for me. The price was high, but seemed to be inline with the area. This is not a business I would recommend to my fellow travelers. read more

Wonderful experience here today! I got a wax and my wife got a massage and we were both treated like royalty. The place is very tranquil, upstairs from a quaint antique shop. Shop is meticulously clean and well decorated, prices reasonable. I have gotten waxed many times but the care and precision Kristi put into it was amazing. She is gentle and careful and if you're new to this, you would feel at ease right away. It just felt like an indulgence which I usually don't feel after waxing. Kristi gave me the best massage I've had in over a year and a half. She is highly intuitive in her approach and really knows what she's doing. This is a cute little spa on the second floor of the Seaside Antique Mall. It is clean and professional with a calming ambiance. My wife and I went in for 90 minute deep tissue massages. Our therapist were extremely professional, knowledgeable and experienced. They both quickly identified problem areas and focused on these areas but also covered the entire body. My experience with Seaside Massage Spa was amazing. After suffering for days with an extremely painful upper back and neck with little or no help from anti inflammatory medicine, I called SM & S at 10:00 am sharp on the Saturday morning of my Seaside weekend vacation. I was scheduled with Jess just an hour and a half later. The location and space was great and Jess was just what I needed. A perfect balance of pressure point and deep tissue massage left me extremely happy I chose this place out of a number of places that popped up on my web search.
